Common misconception that he "created" the strain. He did nothing but popularize the strain in songs, videos, and "Cookies" brand apparel. Therefore, he really has absolutely nothing to do with the strain, he's just reaping the benefits of having a good connection.
The Hemp Center in SF has the original GSC. If you can get the original, you will not be disappointed! Yields are much better than the GSC copies floating around (of that they're are MANY). The fakes really take the fun out of running the real deal because they are so common (at least in my area).
crazy how similar Cherry Pie looks. When GSC first came around every club and broker including the fatman himself said that GSC was CherryPie X OG. That was the original backstory going around for almost 2 years, and then suddenly in early 2013 when big seed releases were in the works the story suddenly got switched up. that combined with the 2 year jump start cherry pie had on the market makes me question some of their stories...if they both came from the same herm than why wasnt GSC around in 2006 like cherry pie was?? #controvery

Thanks budelight you should fire up those lime cookies ASAP if you look at my visitor messages you will see the reversed daddy of the lime cookie cross that sir smoke a lot posted the lime kush. I actually just popped more beans of the lime cookies to hunt for new phenos.
I am also gonna run both phenos in promix a medium that I know and don't have issues with. I think a lot of the foliar feeding I was doing to try and straighten out lockouts and defiencies killed the trich production a little. My next grow of the clones will be trouble free. I won't do another coco grow until I have a clear method locked down and my next grow in promix will be organic nutrients. I am gonna get back to the basics.
I am gonna run both phenos one more time from clone and if the forum leaning one doesn't yield better I am gonna cross it to blueberry or a better yielder and toss that cut.
Old luck did you make the S1's of the forum? She looks like she is gonna yield really well for you.

You're right, I misspoke. I'll edit my post. I didn't mean they bred it themselves, I meant they were one of the first clubs to have the real deal. I just want people to know that "Berner" has nothing to do with the strain other than hyping it up to a point where the market is flooded with subpar copies. Really did more harm than good in my eyes.
