Sweet work bobble, looks like you've got a good handle on organic growing, the results are speaking for themselves.

Thanks! I'm definitely not turning back.

RE> and you can fly through DTW with meds in hand...

Really?

Really. I can fly from DTW to LAX or anywhere in a reciprocal med state, with meds in hand.

Don't be a stranger... Mega doesn't contribute a damn thing and he still pokes his head in to say hi.
Sorry bro, I've lost everything, my house is in a short sale and if it doesn't sell before Dec 31st we get hit with another large tax bill.

I have no grow going at all (it's killing me), my last project blew the fuck up.....I cannot get a job....I hate sounding like a complaining pussy because my g/f just inherited a farm...but I've been fighting some serious depression.

I'm just trying to be quiet and learn from you guys....hopefully 2014 will be slightly better.

I know you're down buddy, but it wouldn't kill you to share some more of your bad jokes... You're still my boy! Anyway I'll give you a call one of these days now that I'm on winter break!

I got A's in both my classes this semester. My growing career is gonna successfully come to an end in the near future.

If Deathstar is a proper skunk then I think it will hands down wipe its ass with the OG's and Kush market if you grow it with care.

I have never got as stoned from a strain like skunk can get me. Skunk can get me tripping!

I'd like to see what she can test , Skunk got cannabinoids

I've seen real OG's test higher than Death Star. For commercial cropping though, Death Star wins hands down.

lol... I have fresh panties on today thank you very much... Just trying to keep my thread on track. I wouldn't want to upset the higher ups... :)

Hi, megayields.

We are not certain if you are being facetious within the spirit of the thread, but there are generally always things to be done that others do not necessarily want to do.

Here is a resource that might be helpful:

goodwill .org/goodwill-for-you/jobs-and-careers/find-a-job/

Your gardening experience might also be valuable within your local landscaping sector. Not `easy` work, but people that keep their lawns and gardens maintained might be in need of assistance periodically.

Not glamorous, high paying or permanent jobs, but things that others simply don`t want to do. Depends on an individuals` temperment for `dirty` jobs with low to moderate compensation. Chopping wood, helping load/unload trailers, checking bulletin boards at local department stores, and other temporary `labor`.

Most all `farm` work will certainly quickly evaporate any ideas of depression, and replace them with the practical demand to keep up with the person next to you (perhaps having no concept of `depression`) that might be picking, sowing or tilling perhaps twice as fast as you (thought humanly possible).

Thoughts of `depression` might - at least temporarily - be substituted with simply being worn out following a few days of `sun-up to sun-down` `labor`.

In any event, best of luck with your pursuit of adequate and sustained employment.

This is good to know, considering you may have to take care of my old ass some day . Just keep in mind, we'll be using the ear thermometer to take my temp. None of that lift and say hello to the cold steel bullshit :moon:

Picked up one of those geoplanter 4x8x1 beds. just one big giant pvc framed fabric pot, that will hold 160 gallons of mix. Cant wait for it to get here :)

Please keep us posted. I was going to build Bobble's beds after Christmas, but I could get 2 of those things shipped here in 2 days for under $200. I've been a carpenter for about 8 years so I'm perfectly capable, but I think these beds would be well worth the extra money.

Since we're talking about pots... Check out what I stumbled across for my vert friends. Not trying to hype anyone's product, just thought it was interesting. I bet SRGB would be happy to help anyone with something similar and competitively priced.

If you ask me, a geoplanter on top of a bobblebed like setup would be extra convenient with the casters and drainage ability. Hell, throw a coco mat between the planter and the bed base for even more root space/o2.

Hi, bobblehead.

We indeed would be happy to help gardeners craft a custom unit or units to meet the gardeners` exacting specifications.

We have thus far designed our products primarily with a focus on modularity and scalability. We generally have developed SRBGB`s with consideration for them to be able to be moved around independently within the garden at any stage of the given season. To wit, if gardening with multiple distinct cultivars, it might be advategeous for the gardener to provision for the ability to adjust certain cultivars` positions within the garden during the course of a given season.

We have experimented with configurations employing several 20 gallon SRBGB`s, with each containing approximately 4 to 8 (or more, if applicable) individual specimen per 20 gallon SRBGB.

If the available area were approximately 4'x8', a gardener could simply place 8 to 10 individual 20 gallon SRBGB`s onto a `table`, in 2 rows of 4 to 5 each, if desired; or simply place the SRBGB`s into a large trough placed directly onto the floor itself. If a `riser` were desired between the bottom of the SRBGB and the table, or trough, several options might exist; we found a layer of 1/2 pumice, or regular smooth river stones, or pea gravel, to work well.

Considering such a modular configuration, it might continually sustain the flexibility of adjustments to the individual SRBGB`s within a given garden, throughout a given season, without necessarily disturbing the adjacent SRBGB and its prospective contents; that is, the media and, or, cultivar held within, respectively.

If the gardener desired a single large SRBGB, spanning the entirety of the dimensions of a given table, we could certainly craft that custom SRBGB for them. We could also craft an SRBGB that could span an entire garden, from wall to wall, greenhouse glass to greenhouse glass, or open area of an outdoor plot, to the exacting specifications of the gardener.

All SRBGB`s are meticulously designed and tested prior to release, for individual component strength, and prolonged durability. Each individual SRBGB is inspected to meet our rigorous quality standards. We further offer general or specialized technical support for our units upon request.

Please feel free to PM/contact us with any pertinent soilless gardening or custom build questions, if applicable.

We are here to, where able, help gardeners in their individual gardening endeavors and experiments; and hope to positively contribute towards the advancements of the arts and sciences of gardening, in general.

This post is only to repectfully convey potential or possible options available to gardeners relevant to a `bed` or `bed on table` type gardening configuration.

Kind regards,
/SRGB/

Thank you SRGB, funny you mention Goodwill....I applied for a local driving job their, had an interview...but I am waiting for a response...none yet. I could not agree with you more, Bobble and other here that know me I hope would say I'm willing to do about anything to help my family, I drove a truck for almost 2 years VERY hard work with almost no pay until my health made it so I could not pass my Class A medical any longer (diabetes). If you read the post below and see my update it looks like I might have a job now. I am not afraid of hard work, in the last operation, part of the agreement was to help build a 2 mile fence surrounding the property where we were growing at, we had to pound 10 feet long 4"dia. metal poles into the ground in 110+ degree burning sun all day long for about 3 weeks, what a bitch that was....no... I know what hard work is.

Your points are valid and I appreciate them very much, thank you. BTW can you make those bags that Bobblehead linked earlier?

============================================================================================

I want to congratulate you on your A's excellent job, well done! I have NEVER doubted your ability to succeed if you put your mind to it, your just too smart to stay stupid. I have no doubt some lucky hospital will snatch you up as soon as you graduate! I will try and call you as well later this week to catch up.

Now for some good news!

Well, things are starting to look up.....I had an long talk with another person who asked me to work with him BEFORE this last operation went down in flames. I could only see the $$$ signs so I stayed with the investor (we call him Jabba the Hut)....anyway we came to a final agreement today, and it won't be as big as the last one BUT this person has a much more important characteristic, integrity...it's hard to find and he want me to bring Gro-bro into it as well (we need his back). I talk with GB tomorrow to see if he wants in, we can do it without him but a couple more trusted hands would help

Think (2) 24 x 48 foot greenhouse's and possibly even (if money allows) a metal prefab building running 4 - 6 doughnuts ALL legal and under the federal plant count with proper amount of scripts.

SRGB I might have to see if you guy's can custom make those circular bags for us.

Stay tuned

Hi, megayields.

Indeed, pole diggers might generally keep an individual busy. How many posts were needed for a two mile fence, perhaps 1,000?

BTW can you make those bags that Bobblehead linked earlier?

We would, respectfully, decline to remix the depicted article(s), for at least two (2) reasons; 1) our own ethical standards relevant to remixing, reworking others` `styles` - of whatever others` articles might, or might not be fashioned as or for; and 2) with all due respect, we do not find the depicted configuration to be practically advantageous. Again, after quite some duration of a myriad of experiments in extremes and various configurations, we found modularity and scalability to be far more advantageous than attempting to fashion a `style` of an article into a given form; where the working function might generally, at least from our findings, require the capacity to reconfigure individual parts at any stage during the season.

Our products are originally designed for specific purposes; while form might influence our development of SRBGB`s, function might be proportionally weighted.

If the configuration were based on surrounding a luminaire with 5 gallon vessels, we would simply employ 5 gallon SRBGB`s on dollies, which would provide the continual ability to move the individual SRBGB`s both laterally (left or right) and to be able to rotate the entire SRBGB (on a dolly, or not) 45, 90, or 180 degrees, in relation to the SRBGB next to it, or the luminaire.

However, if the specific specimen were inded uniform in structure, we might
review the layout and perhaps suggest configuring a single SRBGB covering the entirety of the area lit by that luminaire. In other words, we would probably find it advantageous to simply develop an SRBGB that was, perhaps, 3'x3' to 5'x5'. Such a unit might not require an empty space in the center - which could be filled with media. The specimen could be placed around the edge (walls) of the SRBGB. The total volume of such an SRBGB would perhaps be greater than several independent SRBGB`s without one in the center. Of course, that would primarily be a static type of configuration, where moving of specimen would be limited, as they would be in a single large SRBGB. Similar to placing specimen around the perimeter of the fence project, with the whole of the inside of that fence being a large volume of media available for root mass growth.

In any event, we are willing to help develop and bring new concepts into working models; we would first review the overall goal of the concepts and filter them through at least the above two (2) points of order; namely, are the implementations ethically viable; are the implementations practically viable (scalable, modular) outside of a given `styling` of a technology or architecture.

We are not privy to the purposes or details of others` articles, nor would we endeavor to mimic the same.

Containers that might appear to be of the same type, may not be.

We take considerable effort to develop SRBGB`s independently and for unique, functional and well-defined purposes; and further our units go through a rigorous quality control protocol where they must be individually hand-reviewed prior to release to gardeners. In general, by the time our units have reached the gardener at large, we have put it through a bevy of extreme experiments, and `demo`ed` the unit back and forth to actually determine if the various uses that a gardener might engage in would be supported. As a cursory example, we developed our SRBGB Tube, or `The Sock` as member Avinash.miles dubbed it, for perhaps a year or more prior to releasing a working model to that member.

We hope that this post addresses your inquiry. Please feel free to post in the SRBGB subforum, PM or contact us if you have any further questions relevant to custom builds.

Kind regards,
/SRGB/

Why not just have them whip up some more of those rectangular ones like bobble got awhile back, and put 4 of them together to make a square ? Like SRGB said scalability and portability are ultimately very important qualities to have in a product. Oh and the ability to use it in different situations/styles of grow is nice too :tiphat:. Congratulations on possibly finding a way to get back at it also :good:.

I just stumbled in here a couple of days ago and as I was wandering around the threads I tripped over this one.

There are some very talented growers showing their skills throughout this thread. booblehead I take my hat off to you and your friends.

Me, I've been growing off and on since the early 70's. I just wanted to have a steady supply of the best quality herb I could find. It turned out that I could grow better marijuana then that rag weed from Mexico.

Until a couple of months ago I grew using bottled nutrients. Started with Peter's 20-20-20 then to Eco-Grow/Eco-Bloom and finally to Advanced Nutrients. But I've switched to organics and gave away all my bottles and meters and the rest of the crap I've accumulated over the years.

There is a lot of great organic information in your bedroom so if you don't mind I'm going to be hanging out.
