The best pot in the world is the pot you grow yourself!!!

1. Lemon skunk won out of Monterrey county.
Harborside some crappy speech promoting harbor side. Then they had the grower come up get the award.
It's all BS. Every other award the grower came up first and accepted it.

2. cherry kola won 2nd.
3. cherry lime aid won 3rd.

I don't remember the thc%'s of the winners.
But the highest % I saw on the board was around 27% and it was GSC.

It was very fun!
I gave away a ton of weed and hash to patients in the 215 area.
I got people stoned on flowers and dry sift not dabs.

The music was awesome! Rebalution rocked Saturday night. Jefferson Starship on Sunday!
:thank you:

Where are the full results of the testing posted at?
Depends on who did the testing. We just had the SC Cup, and SC Labs posted all the results. Top numbers were in the high 20s, but the winner was 23-24. Cannabinoids by them self are not the end all be all of a competition it seems.

The emerald cup was a great party. But I feel it was just that it didnt seem to be very much about the competition. Had a great time but next year I will go prepared for a party not a cannabis cup.

Yea Old, except some of these cats treat this like a chat thread.

Happy Solstice, to those of you in the Southern Hemisphere enjoy your shortening days and upload some shots! It's this time of year I miss Kangativa especially. He should be here posting massive monster plants.

WE DO NOT FUCKING CARE FOR ANY CUP AT TOM HILL THREAD

Actually many of us big plants folks entered the cup sooo...imo if you want growing big plants to be sustainable as an industry you better have you quality up to par..this is where the cup cup comes in, anyone can grow a huge plant that has crappy bud, but it takes lots of skill to grow one that is perfect in almost every facet. The cup lets many of us big plant heads to share and learn with our peers after a summer of seclusion....

dont piss on our parade just bc u didnt enter...

heres a few of the entries in no paticular order (granted these were samples, most of which ive picked away at for the past week, so bare the small nugs hehe) This is just 4 of the 257 entries...I had about 15 samples but most have gone into friends hands or into my lungs..these 4 were amazing though, truly special terpens, highs, and great meditations, props to all the growers-

Just an FYI, the cup is an outdoor growers cup. It is the final leg in the marathon of outdoor growing. If you don't like us talking about it, then find another thread. If your trying to learn how to grow large plants outdoors, then read then entire thread, everything has been said 5 times over. Anything else you need help with, or just bitching?

Man all this negative energy killing the good vibes I know all you big plant folks got. lets get the positive energy flowing again. i think work for me is gonna start march 1 going to get all my soil preped in march and start seeds the 3rd week of march. Im doing all native ammendments this year composted pine needles, acorns, a couple different types of pine bark, winter wheat that grows in my area, and im going to cut all my holes with 25% decomposing granite. Whats your guys plans for reammending used soil?

That granite idea is genius in my opinion. I do the same with 1/4 inch basalt. Long term traces and ultra traces.

No disrespect but IMVHO cannabis cups are good. Nice place to hang, meet people, smoke all kinds of buds and have a lot of fun. It's also a nice way of making your work known to others even all around the world. As long as judge are fair and not biased. Cups who ask you big money to enter are fucked up.

So where are the harvest pics????? :)

Who the fuck is "unhelpful" rating my post. Yall have some thin skin whomever you are.

Just saw some Emerald Cup posters up in Garberville. Nice town, even the methheads are friendly.

Finally found a day to sit down and upload some pics...still got a bunch more on the other camera for another time. Harvest went down relatively smooth, Had an awesome crew that worked hard and made things happen and we had a fun time doing it...Overall im happy with the quality of my nugs and have been smoking nothing but open sun herb last few months, great earthy tastes and a potent stone, i like outdoor more and more every year. My favorite smoke has been the Chem4xSourD, followed by Cherry Pie and Royal Kush. DreamQueen was also surprisingly stinky and tasty this year as well...Blue Dream came out nice but i hate BD and its literally everywhere in my area for dirt cheap.

Anyways heres a few pics from the mountain gardens, mostly organic this year, first pics are the re-used fox farms ocean forest, fed teas and top dressing. Il post pics from the low elevation garden another time.

Dieselberry x SSH (5G's Blue) x Fire OG, every single female turned purple. Patients just call her Purple D, has a sweet fruity aroma and cured up into a magenta/lavender color.

picture.php

Cherry Pie, gonna do way more CP next season. trimmers/patient favorite, strong dank purple smell that has hints of GDP and musky durban. strong tasting and potent but euphoric high. Also easy as hell to trim, trimmers were knocking them out in 4 hours.

DHN Dream Queen. Surprisingly good yield this year, finished early had most of them harvested by October1st. Very dense, bright green and with strong skunky cherry cough drop smells. Patients nicknamed her Halloween Skunk, this cut came out much denser and tight compared to a homies regular Green Crack. Popcorn left on the plant turned dark purple in late October and yielded a nice bumper crop.

DHN Blue Dream. Not real BD, yield was mediocre but the nugs came out pretty nice. bright neon coloring with a small purple tint and dense nugs, but smells different than real BD, reminds me of pineapple. Grew side by side with the "butte county blue dream" and the nugs were much smaller and less stacked than real BD.

these are all 100% organic, in EWF norcal blend fed only teas.

Butte County Blue Dream, way bigger stack and yield. Traditional blueberry musky incense smell of BD. BD is everywhere on my mountain like the plague right now so not in high demand.

Dieselberry X WW (5Gs Red), stacked real nicely and yields fat like BD. Finished early around sept 22.
