Hermies in gsc forum cut crosses?

I made some seeds to play with a while back.
The male used was that spacedog crossed to the following females:
Uk cheese
Pure kush(suge cut)
Super snow dog
Gsc forum cut
I have only started the cookies cross. Had 2 in bloom and both had a few ball sacks on the lower branches at about 30 days.

So my question is do we think the male was a dud or are hermies coming from the cookies? I'm hoping the cookies

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks critter! That makes me even more sure it is the cookies with the sexually confused genes. Hopefully the rest of the crosses will be better

Interesting....is the forum cut legit gsc ? Maybe its from a hermit batch of seeds? Just making questions not dissing on any one

i got 1 of my sin mint to put a handfull of male flowers mid bloom but that was mid heat wave and grow temps were well into 40s for days on end so not really the sin mints fault, i got a handful of seed in the sin mint seeds and 2 seeds in my valley dawg from it, i set the 2 valley dawg crosses away, one was a runt and the other is a superb solid fem, beautiful looking and smelling plant, ive taken cuts and can see me having it a while as the parents were dank!!

Thats what happened to me kinda Guy. My sinmint Super GSC pheno threw pollen and i think a bunch of strains got a little seed befor I got to pull the male parts, so far they havnt shown back up and im very excited to have some beans from this even tho they are from a plant turning on me. Tangerine Power, cheese, sinmint itself Agent orange purple dream all got hit :)

For sure the forum cut is just some s1 bagseed of cookies. I thought maybe it didn't pass that trait on but obviously it does. NOT good breeding stock IMO

Why do I keep hearing this of these relatively recent so called elite American strains?

Sure all plants can hermi, but I'm asking about specifically the forum cut as a mother. Not about stress induced nanners but full on male flowers

^^ Well the most recent germination I did with about 40 C-Plus and NLxDarkstar, when I sexed them not one hermi, and they were subject to light leaks, odd hours of dark and night, varying temps, underwatering and not one hermi.

ALL PLANTS CAN'T HERMI!!!
Only plants with hermi genetics can hermi.
So stop making excuses for bad breeding.

Nobody is making excuses for anything. The cookies is just a cut not the work of any "breeding". Just cause I made some beans with her to play with I'm not gonna muddy up the gene pool of cannabis around the world. You have fun with your super stable nl crosses and let the ppl who want to role the dice to find super dank "American elite" cuts do that. No excuses just having fun

Well over 80 C-Plus flowered and not one hermi; proof is in the pudding.

Not having a go at you but just making a general observation that all I read about these days is peoples plants hermying, and they all seem to be these new American genetics.
Something wrong there.

Not the BB Chimera used...plus he would have breed out any hermi traits just saying. The GSC crosses do herm but im sure there is one pheno that dont boom find that there ya go...

TGN~Lots of closet pollen chuckers passing for breeders these days, they pop a pack pick best phenos and dust it with pollen from a male proven or not then they release them right away to the public to keep up with the trends and charge a hundred bucks for 10 beans then they herm and people get the perception this is with all.

I can tell the Sinmints is quality genetics and that im sure to find a non-herm phenol

i had read that gsc was just a hermie cherry pie to an unknown og. how true this is i dont know.

i only had 1 out of 5 sin mints put a handful of flowers out in temps near 50 degrees and huge humidity, not bad imo. it was a superb smoke non the less!!

There is no Cherry Pie in GSC.GSC and Cherry Pie share a common parent, the F1 Durban.

Topping in early flower, like week one or 2, is a great way to test for hermies. That and a little underwatering and extra dry time will make em show every time. I take cuttings and torture test em. You'd be surprised how much shit will hermie.

I don't get hermies.
Sure I have had them but only from bagseed, no bought seeds I have got have hermied, except for when I was starting out I got Amstel Gold from Heavens Stairway, and they all were hermies except for one female, but I think they may have been a bit dodgy and the seeds weren't from Dutch Passion, maybe some backyard grower sold them to them and they were passing them off as Dutch Passions.
Other than that I simply don't get hermies, either indoor or out.
I have had plants get so dry they were wilting with all the leaves hanging down parallel to the stem, turned the light on in the middle of the dark, too much nitrogen, not enough nitrogen, topping, not topping and NO HERMIES!!!
Listen, you get your seeds from a reputable breeder and I will guarantee that you will get not one hermie, and you can make hundreds of F2's and you will still get no hermie.
You waste your time with backyard breeders and you have no-one to blame but yourself.
From my experience Sensi wont hermi, DJ Short wont hermie, Spice of Life wont hermie, Chimera wont hermie, Paradise wont hermie, KC Brains wont hermie, even Nirvana doesn't
hermie, so where are you getting your seeds from?
