Floranova bloom in Coco

I've been running H&G nutes, in canna coco and I jus flipped the room.I ran out of nutes but happen to have some flora nova bloom on hand.Money is kinda tight, and I was wondering could I get away with using the floranova, until I'm able to buy some H&G nutes and if so, do I need to add anything to the mix?

You won't just get away with it, it's probably better; provided it's still good to use and hasn't precipitated in the bottle. Feed it at 1.0-1.2ec.

There's no need to stick to a certain brand of nutrient just because you've been using it before. They all do the same thing.

:yeahthats

I use Floranova Bloom in soil, coco, and hydro. The stuff works great!

Just make sure to shake it, and then shake it some more. If it doesn't sound like rocks in the bottle. You're good to go. :)

Use it up! Nova will give killer nugs in coco..if its still good.

Shake it like a polaroid picture!! I us to put a marble in the bottle to help shake

I would start with 5ml per gallon.

I jus always thought when in your in coco, you had to use coco specific nutes.

The thing is; what is a coco specific nute?

If they've all got different ratios of this and that,... do you know what I'm saying?

You might find the floranova is closer to one coco feed than that coco feed is to the next. All you need to know is it's balanced well and lots of people use it with great results in coco. There's no reason whatsoever that it wouldn't work. I wish I had pictures of the sour diesel crop I fed with just tomorite tomato food.

Use it at 1.0EC to start with and go from there. You shouldn't have to go much higher than that.

Would you consider an EC of 1.4-1.6 too high?

It really depends on a lot of things...
How much light?
Rh%
Co2 levels
How often are they being watered?
Whats the light schedule?
How big are the plants?
Additives?

Lets just say you transplant a ft tall plant from a 1gal into a 5 gal. You probably would want to give a feeding on the heavier side and then let it go a day without any food. When that same pot is full of roots you might want to go back to the lighter feedings multiple times a day...
You just gotta keep growing to learn your plants better.
It helps to keep detailed notes and to have a consistent dialed environment to work in.
