Ciskei release

Yeah I wouldn't be as interested in the plant if it were a hybrid.

Ace Malawi x Ciskei would be amazing. Malawi is the most aggressive strain I've come across.

It probably is a pure landrace but the phenotype is very far from anything hazy. It's got dark medium width leaves and I can't get it to stretch, not that I want to but it takes some vegtime to get a good yield.

I've been thinking about a malawi cross too, but I'm not too interested in the overpowering Ace version, I'll probabably use the African Buzz instead if I do. Zambian would be ok too but it's fast in it's own right, no need to cross. Overall Ciskei is great for taming any long fowering sativa. I just finished a bag of Zamaldelica crossed to it and had a Celestial Temple Sativa cross in the past. It never fails.

Go with Bodhi's Malawi then, he's also got an Ethiopian strain too.

Holy smokes Malawi is legit too, an authentic one has a dark green blue tint to the leaves.
Isn't the Zamaldelica more powerful than malawi?. Thats the fem version anyways because it has no thai in it.

I have Ethiopian Highland growing right now, 50/50 chance it'll mate with the Ciskei.

The straight Zamaldelica is probably in the same league with the malawi in terms of potency, the Ciskei cross was very strong too but not overpowering. Lovely euphoric stuff, not at all muddy but had this warm body glow and very little comedown. The high had this "after two beers" aspect to it which I love :) It doesn't destroy you but allows you to do what you're doing and also enjoy it more.

You had a look at Billyblogs Malawi?
They are a repro of Afropips...

"I first did this strain a couple of years earlier than this and was so amazed at it's UP high, one of the brightest and most positive buzz's of all time. I've often referred to this strain as the cocaine of marijuana as it delivers a pure uplift that is clear, vibey, electric and stimulating to every activity you take on.

If you smoke this stuff late in the evening, you may not want to sleep and you're bound to awake to an energised rising the next morning as if you'd risen to a snort of coke, allowing you to bounce off your bed with energy to face the day's challenges. The clarity enables you to keep a hold of your most precious thoughts without becoming too scrambled. Really magical stuff!

When her buds are ripe and harvested, she oozes pineapple and lemon turpenes which surprisingly interpret as a rich cinnamon taste on exhale. She smokes smooth and rarely makes you cough but the high hangs in for hours upon hours. It's truly amazing how much you can accomplish on this stuff. Perhaps the highest high I've ever encountred, saying this in light of the many sativas I've trialed over the many years, including the best of the haze hybrids, kalimist, c99 and the like."

I grew Swazi x Ciskei along with Zambian and Billys Malawi this year, well they were all too late here not surpringly, But swazi x ciskei started flowering 2 weeks earlier than the others. So the pure Ciskei may stand a chance in a good year.
Previously I have grown Zambian with good results come late Nov.

Yeah I've read it, but I didn't know the seeds were available somewhere. I've grown the Afropips version before and would like to do it again as they were very nice. The African seeds version has a more complex high according to him, but energetic clarity is what I like.

Sorry, you are right. I am even happier that it is pure sativa. I was reading some Tropical stuff about Ciskei and they were talking about germing Cloud #7 so I assumed that was the linage, didn't know Bushman was a separate strain of Herbaria

Have you tried Ace's? is the high really as potent as what people say?
ethiopean x ciskei will be nice. Apparently the Ace Malawi harvests early may(south)

The Bisho Purple is very nice and cheap in fem bean form.

Anyone seen the Panacea Pack and Purple Bisho?

Nice plants guys. 63 days is amazing, looks like it has slight red hairs too.

That bisho purple looks amazing phrenos. Nice tightness from the PCK. good to see the purple trait too.

:woohoo: Just got my Ciskei seeds!
I ordered them the last and they were the first to arrive!
Tropical Seeds rocks; for my 5 seeds I got an extra one AND two feminised Ciskei seeds
:huggg: .

good to hear mate, you should start up a grow journal when you decide to give them a run. Not enough info on these amazing strains from TTSC.

what's wrong with the leaves? Deficiency from flushing or spider mites?
It's thrips ;)

Ciskei is quite uniform in effect, short stature, fast flowering and very good side branching. Easy to grow. Some individuals are really compact.
Nervous and electric high, it begins crazy fast, focus and clear effects that leaves you perfectly clean 1h30 later. A good daytime smoke. No body. No relax. Caffeine

sounds like a dream pastor, I've never experienced a caffeine African high before.

This needs to be crossed onto Ace Malawi by professional hands!. Awesome breeding tool with the short flower time.

Bushmans Herbaria is sold as a cutting at floweryfield in austria. Good to know ciskei by tropicalseedscompany isnt on it's own might be worth getting a cut and comparing the two or even crossing them?

Ok trying to revive this thread somewhat. Has anyone tried the ciskei from Tropical Seeds Co recently?
