First off, I just want to thank the Raiders for letting Jamaal Charles score at will. Got me solidly into the finals of my fantasy league.

9ers looked good overall, defense was tight, they're definitely ramping up at the right time. Kap is chuckin the pigskin and using his legs...I just wish they could snap the ball faster. When everything is clicking, they're hard to beat. Too many weapons.

Speaking of weapons, Gore is probably one of my favorite RBs of all time...I don't care if he stops playing tomorrow...he's Hall of Fame material, period.

Seems they're still having issues with play calling and it's December...which isn't a good sign.

There is a very interesting scenario taking shape in the AFC. One that if it happens is going to take many diehard NFL fans by surprise. It will shock them because they didn't see it coming and even now they don't see it could happen. Plus it looked impossible and all was lost the last 4 weeks and fans completely forgot just how good a certain team was.

You all forgot about the Colts. They lost their starting RB for the season in the last preseason game. Then they lost their next RB Bradshaw in week 3 while him and the Colts dismantled the 49ers in their own stadium.

And even though they lost the best tight end Allen (a beast), a starting o-line free agent main blocker they still were able to beat Seattle and hang 34 points on their D.

However a young team can only take so many season ending injuries. Yes they were all season enders. Then Reggie Wayne went down, CBs went down, free safety went down, linebacker went down and on and on. Then they beat Denver. Nobody else has that resume of wins.

The Colts are the most injured team by far. Except GB when you lose a Rogers type QB you are the most injured.

Nobody mentions it. They talk like the Colts just weren't that good before. Well they had to have time to adjust. That time has come. The D is back. Luck has some new pieces. The o-line is blocking now.

Now the scenario unfolds.

If the Colts win their last 2 games and the Ravens win their last 2 games the Colts are the #2 seed and get the bye. The Ravens play the Bengals and the Patriots. That would be loss #6 for the Bengals and loss #5 for the Patriots. The Colts would end 11-5 too and own the tiebreaker over the Patriots due to conference record.

The Ravens will win their division too if they win the last 2 games. They will be highly motivated.

It all starts this Sunday when the Colts defeat the worst 11-3 team in NFL history the Chiefs IN KANSAS CITY. The Colts will have wins over San Fran, Seattle, Denver and Kansas City and will go to the Super Bowl from the #2 seed.

Pretty bold of you to make such claims...but i got say i like your style even if I don't agree with all of it

You could easily agree that it is possible for the Ravens to beat the Bengals and the Patriots and the Colts could beat the Chiefs and the Jags though. That isn't even remotely far fetched.

It is my Colts Super bowl fantasy that you disagree with. I understand that. LOL!

The Colts getting the #2 seed is totally possible. I think it is actually probable.

Houston laid down for the Colts and I doubt the Chiefs are going to just roll over for the Andrew Luck and co.

Colts are going to be playing outside, in the cold, in a loud ass stadium. They could still win, but it's not going to be a cake walk.

I didn't say a cakewalk. But it will be a victory.

Houston didn't lay down. They got knocked down.

The Chiefs are not that good. They have not beaten one really good team. None. The best teams they beat were Dallas and Philadelphia. And mentioning those two teams in the same sentence with the word best is an insult to the word best.

They do play in the cold. They also practice outside.

One just has to look at Andrew Luck and know he isn't going to fade in the cold. He might lose but it won't be because it was too cold.

There is no way in hell that Kansas City could beat Denver, Seattle and San Francisco. Not even just one of them. They only beat Dallas 17-16 at home. They only beat Houston 17-16 at home. I guess Houston didn't lay down. They barely beat Cleveland at home.

I just don't see them beating the Colts at home. This is the best team they have played. This team beat Denver and Denver handily defeated the Chiefs twice this year.

I just like the way things are unfolding for the Colts. Despite the injuries, despite the refs stealing a victory in Cincinnati and one against Miami the Colts are still in the hunt for the top seed.

That is what I really wanted to point out. They still have a slim chance to be the top seed and a real good chance to be the #2 seed.

There isn't an unbeatable team in the AFC and the only one in the NFC that is clearly going to be very difficult to be stopped from getting to the SB is Seattle.

The Colts have as good or better chance of making it than any other AFC team.

The Colts went into a bit of a swoon when Reggie Wayne went down but seem to be playing better of late. Beating up on the rest of the AFC south is their strength, can't say that they'll beat KC this weekend... But Luck is the real deal. No one's debating about whether him or RG3 should have gone first overall, not now.

Won both my playoff games this past weekend, but i was in the consolation bracket in one league, the one where Kap was my QB. Yeah, at one point was 1-5 in that league, just too much ground to make up to make the playoffs. Kap had some really bad statistical games during the first half of the season, probably cost me at least another win or two.
But now that he's got Crabtree and manningham back he's got some more weapons to fling it to so his production has gotten better of late. When he's on his ceiling is so high because of what he can do on the ground. I expect he'll be running a lot more in the playoffs when there's no reason to hold anything back.
Still, the road to Jersey goes through the Linc in Seattle. Better work on that silent count some more, Kap...

All the NFC teams including Seattle are worried that the Packers make the playoffs and have Rodgers back. The Packers with Rodgers are fully capable of going to Seattle and getting a victory.

I don't understand how anyone thinks the Chiefs could even be a .500 team if they played any kind of schedule. They are 2-3 their last 5 games. When they lose to Indy and then lose at Chargers (Chargers beat them at KC) they will be 11-5 but 2-5 their last 7 games.

Their 9-0 start came against Jacksonville, Dallas, Philly, Giants, Titans, Oakland, Houston, Cleveland and Buffalo. And there were some squeakers too.

They now have lost to Denver, Chargers, Denver. Then beat Washington and Oakland (weak teams again) and then have Indy and San Diego. I see a 2-5 end to the season and a one and done playoff.

IMHO Kansas City is a mediocre NFL team. They are overrated because their extremely weak schedule.

I do prefer the Colts being under the radar. It was nerve wracking all those years with a target on the Colts back.

This Sunday if you catch the Colts/Chiefs game and you see the familiar sight of 3 huge defensive lineman hanging off of Luck yet unable to bring him down and he fires a completion or runs for 15 yards, enjoy the moment, because you are looking at the early career of the greatest QB who ever lived. It is going to be an even sweeter 15 year run than the Colts had with Manning.

GO COLTS!!!!

I hear you, Icks....but the Colts haven't strung two straight wins together since week 10.

Getting whupped on by Arizona in week 12 and then Cincy in week 14....and they're supposed to ride their early season success to the Superbowl? Hey, who knows...any given sunday and all that....

Luck has been sacked 30 times so far this year...which is 4 less than Smith. Of course, KC's defense has been pretty much rock solid all year and Jamaal Charles ain't done yet*.

*(I'm biased because I have KC's D and Charles on my fantasy team, lol)

I am getting less confident Hemphrey. I just saw that the Colts were 7 point underdogs. Plus they haven't beaten a team with a winning record in 6 weeks.

They will be in the playoffs again though. It will help for the future. One playoff victory would be a good start for future playoffs.

When you are a young team and even if you are very good it is harder to adjust right away when a key player goes down. They still keep taking key injury hits. They have been able to keep pulling it together. But has progressively gotten harder. Now Brown is injured and even though he sucks we need him. LOL!

Arizona was right after Reggie going down. They were lost.

Cincy was a total bullshit rip off game that the refs handed Cincy 14 points. The first and goal at the one yard line and the Indy D stopped them on 4 plays and then the refs reversed the call was one of the worst calls ever. That would have made it 7-0 not 14-0. Then the second have opening drive TD that Cincy got was made possible by them picking up the flag on the intentional grounding on Cincy. They would have had to punt because of loss of down and 15 yard penalty and colts would have the ball around midfield.

So it still would have been 7-0 instead of 21-0. Then the Colts scored on their next 2 possessions to make it 21-14 but it should have been 14-7 Colts. Then Cincy scored and it was 28-14 but could have been 14-14.

They each scored 14 in the 4th quarter so it would have been 28-28 and going to overtime.

Yeah I know how it actually ended but you can see how it wasn't the big defeat it appears. It was a close game that swung on more bad officiating.

The Colts didn't squak either. Their fans and the media did. Boomer was disgusted on the post game show on tv. So were a few on espn. The reversal of the goal line stand at halftime altered the score and stole momentum from the Colts.

All I can say is I hope Vinatieri keeps saving you guys like he did against the Titans....heh...that guy is CLUTCH! lol.

Luck is probably one of the best young QBs out there, but he needs more weapons. Fleener? Bay? Hilton? No, no, and no. Those guys ain't gettin it done. They got like 12 TDs between the three of them on the season. That's not pro bowl or super bowl material, imho.

Next year should be very interesting. Lots of potential dynasty type players emerging this year on different teams and Luck is right there with them.

Andrew Luck is a big, strong strapping man-beast of a quarterback, like Peyton Manning on steroids. Those Stanford boys must be doing the next level of PED's, gene therapy or something, cause Luck has legs like tree trunks.
At his current pace of development, he's going to be a hall of famer no doubt. Indy got very lucky going from one franchise qb straight to another, like green bay did a few years ago, like san fran did with montana-young.

KC started going down when they're two pass rushers got injured; they had the #1 Def before that. But now they're starting to open up the offense some, Alex smith is putting up numbers, finally starting to get the wide outs involved (I drafted Dwyane Bowe, and yes i dropped him not halfway through the season) and of course they have the FF MVP, Jamaal Charles.
So yes, their record is padded with average or bad teams, but if their defense gets healthy they are a good team.

Also, even though SEA and DEN are the favorites to reach the Superbowl, you're right, any given sunday its all about whos playing better. Didnt Baltimore lose 3 of 4 last year to end the season, and then Flacco started playing like Joe Montana circa 1989 and they swept the playoffs. So the Colts, the Niners, anyone with a hot qb and a decent defense can make some noise in the postseason.

Whadeez, are you suggesting that Kap target Sherman in the passing game if Sherman keeps turning his back? Sometimes the unexpected strategy works...

Seattle, lost to the '49er's WAS on purpose.... to avoid the additional bye week...and loose momentum in the playoff's...thus allowing sum attention to be deflected....it was a premeditated loss w/ in reason to facilitate the home field advantage.....

just say'in... look closely @ the next 2 wk schedules..... there is method to the madness.....BRO
