I'm growing these outdoor in New Zealand at 37S latitude.
I only have 3 regular panamas outdoor but I only grow for personal use and breeding researches.

3rd week of april harvest for me? the green will probably go longer if it's a female.

It's interesting you say that, Randy CA - all of my previous Panama vintages have cured into a real cedar scent. Very woody.

Panama At 80 Days - Harvested

Panama At 80 Days - Harvested

Bravo Terpene!! Bravo Rondelia!! Mighty beautiful specimens!!

My Panama came down today. I know I could have taken her longer... Someone I respect greatly swears by her effects at 14 weeks. She was grown - from seed- under 11/13 light regimen. I was influenced by the sativa photoperiod thread and it nicely harmonized with my own thinking on the subject. Thus, I didn't go by the glands (primarily cloudy - no amber to speak of) as much as I did my overall sense of the plant. AND - I sampled a bud taken a week ago and found it sublime - without cure. One can only imagine! I was a bit surprised by her growth pattern - as you can see, not branchy at all while her height more than tripled. Just all main kola - although the buds on the bottom branches are quite substantial. Amazing leaf calyx ratio. Scent is lemon cleanser with something really floral and sweet.

So here's some pics pre-harvest. I hope you enjoy. (Oh yeah, the backdrop is clearly the province of a man with a high sense of organization and a supremely orderly mind!)

I have another Panama currently in the hopper and she looks TOTALLY different. From a Fem seed. So far - at about 43 days of flowering - the budding has been quite sluggish, small, delicate, incredibly white flowers that grow in almost a foxtail type shape. She is beginning to fill out - but she doesn't look like any Panama I have grown to date. I have also seen such an extensively resinated plant. The fan leaves appear to have resin glands (no, not powdery milder). The whole plant looks white except for a smattering of beautiful light brown or golden pistils - details subject to change. I'll try to get a picture of her soon. She's slimmer and taller than her sister - so a little bit more difficult to move her about. But she is very cool and different looking to me - I'm wondering whether any of you have seen the like. Soon come.

Brother mayan should be a permanent test grower for Ace.. Always great looking plants coming from his lodgings. Always so modest and humble with his grows..

Are you thinking of trying something new after these sativa divas have been brought down?

Very well grown pot all round :)

Youre always rockin' Zandaar. Love your Panamas.
This is the first female I found from my Panama x c99bx, she was flowered very small. I am happy to see a small amount of pink pistils. Took this one bud off her today at 8 weeks, the trichomes are all cloudy, basically no clear and no amber. At the end, terpenes are more lemon Panama dominant, with a hint of pineapple in the background. Sounds good to me.:dance013:

That looks like some beautiful bud. This has convinced me to pop my Panama x Sin Diesel (c99 x Sour D) seeds and cross my fingers hoping for something similiar. The mother was very C99 leaning and the father was an extremely vigorous, stinky and well structured Panama male.

The Hatter, sounds like some powerful vigorous sativa genetics probably will be a lot of fun to grow!

Zanddar, I agree. As I get older, Im more keen on the extremely resinous plants that have very interesting terpene profiles and happy effects. Panama is great for passing those traits on.

After the Dry/Before the Jar

After the Dry/Before the Jar

[NOTE: I want to point out that a huge shout-out goes to Charlie Garcia/CBG, as well. I forget whether the seed for this plant was purchased from Ace or CBG (I think Ace) but it doesn't make a difference in as much as their seeds are the same - at least they were. Thanks, kaiki for your contribution in development of this great strain!]

Just a couple of shots of a Panama I just took down. Happy New Year every one!!

I have another one in flower - this looks totally different than the plant pictured here and just about any other plants I have grown out. At day 60, she's continuing to evolve and confound. Very peculiar...the buds were comprised of slender (though fattening) foxtails from the get-go. She is just beginning to bulk up the foxtails into hard invaginated knuckles of calyx. She is white with resin glands, including many of the fan leaves (and no, I don't think it is mold or PM). She looks similar in her coloring to an Ace Mix I grew out a couple of years ago - but not in structure of plant or bud. Strange, beautiful and beguiling.

also which parent does the pungent hash aroma come from?

I have a CBG Panama right now going under a 1k and the buds grease up so early and just keep greasing up and it's getting so fat so fast.
Mayan that bud looks so resiny and smokable. Nice job.

Hey everyone, I know this may not be the best place to ask, but what is the relationship between Ace and Cannabiogen? Same owners and breeders? different breeder? So far I have only ran Ace seeds, but soon I am going to try the CBG Jamaican, and Purple Peyote. Both companies are standout from what I read. Thanks for any input, and keep the beautiful Sativas coming!

Hi guys, I've read through most of this thread and this is about the best reference I can find for Ace Panama, so I wanted to show you mine and get any input you can offer. She looks ready to chop but I'm trying to get her to hang in there a little bit longer. She's turning a nice purple on the undersides.

Once upon a time, dubi (Ace) and Charlie Garcia (CBG) worked together. Hence, a couple of the strain offereings (Panama, NepJam) and maybe more, were developed during this period of collaboration. It is my understanding that they remain the same seed stock - for instance, the Ace Panama is (or, at least was until recently) is exactly the same as the CBG Panama - unless they have changed over the past year while I've been keeping a low profile.
