I would say Cal mag as well but you upped the dosage and still nothing. That makes me believe you are having a PH "Drift". I have experienced this before in soil mixes that are heavily peat based, supposedly they tend to have PH spikes after watering that lock out Calcium, and Magnesium making it appear deficient, then when you go to remedy it, you often funk with the PH balance even further. Another thing that can do this is a Chlorinated water source (Tap water, some bottled water's...). These have been problems I have encountered with exactly the same symptom's before. Do not convince yourself it is the light, I did myself only to find out it was something I hadn't paid mind to. She will pull through though, might not be the prettiest smoke, but it shall be potent!

My ppm runoff is 2200??? Think I need to flush? I think your right about the pH drifting...what can I do to rememdy this. I use tap water ran through a Brita filter.

So I went and bought a cheap soil ph meter and its dead on 7...

Here is a pic of the late stages of whatever it is thats going on...

And here is a pic of the overall plant. Other than most leaves getting brown spots she looks perfectly healthy to me... Def not a cal/mag problem been feeding 1-2 tsp last 3 weeks...

More and more i test the ph more its saying its not it. has runoff and nute ph is good...

The tap man, even a filter won't remove the chlorine. Leave your water in an open container for a couple of days and it should burn off. I use glass jugs outside for a solar still effect, burns it off way faster than evaporating. 2200 ppm is pretty hot IMO, but she doesn't look burned, so It has to be a nutrient lock-out, and if not PH related then probably what I said above. Some peoples county's use less and get by fine with tap, other dudes are not so lucky and even go and buy RO by the 5gal jug!

Thanks for the help neek +rep for sure!!! Ill leave a jug out for 30 hours and start using it. Ill report back in a few days. Isnt it weird theres no nute burn what so ever? Gotta be a lockout...

So flushing didn't help. Still getting Spots and leaves crisping. I decided to kick an jungle juice and got biothrive bloom and grow.... Could it be just a weak plant?

I would flush one more time and then next watering do a 1/2 strength feed. As mentioned, it looks like a Cal Mag deficiency going on but should have been corrected with what you've done. Even though it doesn't look like it, manganese deficiency sometimes develops necrotic spots and yellowing of leaves.

Are the spots developing on new growth or is it just on older fan leaves? All over the plant or just on top or on the bottom parts? Might try lowering the ph to ~6.5 when watering.

I like to take the reading off those soil testers with a grain of salt. If you still have issues and if you haven't already done so, I'd make a post in the Cannabis Infirmary section to get some more eyes to look at the issue.

Ty for advice man!! Its def effecting older growth and its effect bottom mid and top fan leaves. I'll put some more pics up tomorrow. I gave it a weak nutrient solution just a minute ago.

I know that cheap pH meter is not all that accurate, but it gives me a "ball park" idea of where it is.

flush until your ppm and ph are in check, and get yourself a good pH meter! the meter is seriously worth its weight in gold!

another way to remove chlorine from water is to toss in a handful of compost.

Hey Deftoner. I also use an LED in my grows and have noticed the same brown spots and crispy leaves. I recall being told that this is due to a difficulty in obtaining the Ca the plant needs due to the lack of heat being put off by the lights onto the leaves.

Happened in all 8 of my grows (7 soil 1 hydro). I have noticed some supplemental CFL lighting helps with this.

So I finally figured out what went wrong. It was the led light. It was causing light stress. Apparently you have to keep plants and least 15 inches from light. I put a 150w hps in there and everything is back to smooth sailing. The led was just to powerful for such a small area.

I love your setup man- super stealthy, super effective. I could learn a thing or two from you about stealth design and light choice. I also have learned from you potentially why a lot of my leaves are getting brown spots... I'm going to lift up my light a few inches to see what happens.

I want to make a setup very similar to yours in the bottom of my 18 by 18 closet for vegging, with a similar light and set of dimensions. I may consult with you in the future, my friend.

Happy growing!

If its light stress you'll have deformed fan leaves along with the spots.

hmm... probably a calcium deficiency then. For me I sense some issues with soil pH and some problems I was having with nutrient solution storage. Oh well. These micro grows people set up never cease to amaze me...
