YOSEMITE TENT CITY 6kw Hardcore OG

I am very excited about this new project i have going. I call it Tent City. Its in my garage which is only half insulated so instead of constructing a grow room we said fuck it and bought 3 brand new Gorilla Tents.

We will be growing HARDCORE OG, a cut that is being passed around my circle and is known for making amazing BHO.

GRowing method is simple: Flood/drain in six 4x4ft trays. each tray gets its own 50gallon reservoir underneath. each tray also gets its own 1000W light overhead. simple. i like that.

In each tray there are 15 plants, except one tray is an experimental SOG with 58 plants. so 133 plants total in the tent city.

My medium of choice is Botanicare Readygro Aeration Formula, which is basically 50/50 mix of coco and perlite with some extra organic goodies mixed in.

Nutrients that we will use are House & Garden's "Aqua Flakes A&B", this nutrient line is specially made for flood/drain and other recirculating systems. No other nutrients or additives will be used. well maybe.

the plants are grown from clones taken from our own mothers. after rooting in rockwool cubes they were vegged for 1-2 weeks in 16oz cups and then transplanted into 2gallon grow bags and vegged for another week before flowering

How many mls of a&b do you use per gal in veg?

Anyway yah i switched from growing in stadium and vertical rooms to traditional flood trays. Vert is more efficient spacewise but its harder to set up and automate. I have moved around a lot in the past few years and have gravitated towards a simpler, "set it and forget" style of growing .

Have been running growing with this method for a couple years at multiple locations and i feel that i have the system pretty dialed in. Mistakes in the past have been numerous. Mislabelled genetics, low clone availability, damp mildewy locations, poor ventilation and circulation, police, evictions, even just vegging for too long can completely throw off a cycle and affect yield. I have made and learned from all these mistakes, and the system which you are about to see is about as bulletproof as i can make it under the circumstances .

How many mls of a&b do you use per gal in veg?

I use 9ml per gallon of both A&B throughout veg and flower. Flush for a week before harvest. This gives me best results and very simple.

Sorry i dont know much about the Hardcore OG except that it isnt a pure OG. Seems like there is some Sour or Chem in there somewhere.

SO i have a bunch of extra clones and i am thinking about getting another 2kw tent and filling it with 100 babies.
Oh and i forgot to mention, I also got 3KW of GS Cookies going in two different tents, i think i will document that shit in here too..

I dont ever top i think it takes energy from the plant and is unnecessary. I put a screen over each table about 18" from the tray and if a plant gets too tall in veg i just weave it into the screen. it gets trickier with low ceilings but these gorilla tents have 8 feet of vertical space so its manageable.

with really stretchy strains i will wait until they start showing hairs and then drop in a second screen 12-16" above the first one. this helps support the buds on stretchy plants that shoot up above the first screen.

Are these all 4x8 tents also are you running 3k on flip flops to hit that 6k

they are 5x9 Gorilla Tents, they are 8ft tall. no flip flop, each light has its own ballast and each ballast has its own timer.

the Hardcore OG stretches a lot, the girls have almost double in size in less than a week!

I just put up nets in all the tents, it is crucial to get them in early, i have had bad experiences trying to trellis trays of 3ft tall plants
