Lost Coast...I think the LostCoastOupost is referred to as that sometimes too. Why do you ask?
Lol at the bho fear . not everybodys body chemistry is the same .
Had a worker melt my face this last time, I pack up a big happy bowl of my Primo OG headstash and offer it around, she very politely, but very seriously says: "No thanks, I don't smoke flowers anymore." MINDBLOWN
Very cool, HellaFella. Doing work man.
Just out of curiosity, what would your reaction have been if she said she doesn't smoke flowers anymore because she prefers dry sift or bubblehash?
I think what is kinda being lost in the BHO debate is that some people want hash/concentrates because they are more effective and economical. A hit or two of dry sift, bubble or BHO can put you in a place that a puff or two off a joint just can't do.
I dig your general point, HF, especially on the pretentiousness with dabs in some circles which I find comical. But I think they all have their merits, flowers, hash & concentrates, and people need to decide individually what works best for them.
For the record, I wouldn't turn down a bowl of some primo homegrown OG.
Your not ALL wrong; she was definitely on the socially awkward end of the spectrum for most people. when she was ready to partake she very demurely and almost embarrassed like, asked if she could bring her "rig" in...some people aren't very friendly or talkative to begin with.
mabye that girl just didnt think your ogk was up to par and didnt want to be ur guinea pig
It was! I would LOVE to hear your dissertation on the differences/supposed detriments of machine trimmed ganja given the "pointed" nature of your witty remark if you have the time! Don't go regurgitating some shit you have read on the internet or something your friends-friends-sisters-cat heard about, I have lived it for almost a year now and have only been disappointed twice so far.... ask me, I'll tell you all about it!was it twister trimmed ?
Hey bro! still keeping busy I see.
It seems some people dont drink vodka, some dont drink whiskey, some dont drink beer and now some folks dont smoke flowers.
Medical is/was the doorway for recreational, we all know that. You think all of your flowers are used for 100% medical purposes, I hope not. I hope people get to enjoy them on their own guise and arent forced to use them to relive pain. I am happy to relieve pain but I also hope people get to enjoy the plant for what it is.
I have several patients who dont need/want all the hemp and fibers in their medicating process. One patient has stage 5 bone cancer, flowers just dont give the relief that concentrates do. I have had my flowers come back at 25% thc so I know Im not a shitty grower with bad product.
I see alot of "dab olympics" going on and thats gonna rub some folks the wrong way, but its the social equivalent of a keg stand, or taking shots with your friends.
I dont smoke flowers that often anymore, the effect of combustion leaves me more tired and is harsher on my lungs. Its not what I deem fit, but simply what my body tells me it prefers.
Not all concentrates are gonna dumb you down. I have some 3kings wax that will wake you the f up and if your not doing something you will end up with some anxiety. Its not a sit still, or dumbed down effect by any means. Get up and go go go.
Another more western perspective might be that concentrates are the true medicine. You dont suck on a willow branch, you take aspirin. Doctors dont prescribe opium poppies, the prescribe opiates...My people in serious pain (cancer, hiv, epilepsy) prefer concentrates for relief, sometimes inhaled sometimes eaten.
I have yet to meet someone in serious pain who says "ill take a bonghit over a capsule, or a joint over a dab"
The fact that stoners can now say that "they dont smoke flowers" just shows that the industry is evolving and growing. I think its a good thing.
I also love smoking OG, and find often that the flowers are more flavorful than the concentrate. Maybe she doesnt know what she was missing.
