...and the second NepalHaze lady to declare...

Both are female, and declared at around 8 weeks from seed.

They will be getting pollen from the g/p haze x thai project,
as well as from Johnny Blaze F2s.

much more to come

Hey LF nice females, what kinda soil are you using? Its a bit strong uh, I remember having great problems with exotic sativas in recycled soil-still not light enough.
Regards!

Hola, K. Thanks for stopping by.

The soil was:
4 parts FF Light Warrior
1 part FF Ocean Forest
1 part worm castings
1 part perlite (L.Warrior's already fairly perlite-ish)

Amended with:
kelp meal
alfalfa meal
azomite
crab shell
dolomite

They were up-potted as the soil was mixed, and the OF bits may have
been a little too hot. My DJ Short genetics didn't like it too much either. :)

Here's my tallest girl, foto'd today...

...and before she gets topped/bonsai'd.

She and the rest of the lot are getting green flat happy leaves now after a
week in their more hospitable environment. Also had to turn off a couple
of bulbs (2/6) in each of the the two T5 arrays to get the gang happier as well.
(edit: and reduce the air replacement speed of the grow room, it was
starting to dry them out a little too fast)
It'll be awhile before flowering.

Hope things are growing well where you are.

Saludos!

Hola Porn-

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your jardin pics.
I'm already lusting after them- especially the Pana x OTH and
Destroyer x Mextiza/DC.
Did you make these crosses?

Paolo!

The same is going on here as with the Working with dubi's GHxT thread..

"After a nice long veg, and with several plants showing alternating phyllotaxy,
I kicked off flowering 4 nights ago.

The plan is to ID a couple of good males and pollen-collect,
and put the girls back into veg with an up-potting before final flower.

My grow space is waaay too crowded now, and this first flowering will
help kick off the selection process."

They all are under: 2 x 6bulb4ft and 1 x 4 bulb4ft HOT5 arrays
for this male/female ID first flowering.
Hope things are growing well with you.
Saludos!

minor update

minor update

hi

Ended up with just 2 NepalHaze females for this entire thread.

The shorter, purpler-stemmed, Nepal-leaner remains tri-folate.

They've been in re-veg for almost a week, and up-potted to 2 gal. smart pots.
They'll be flowered with everyone else in around 4-6 weeks (we'll
just watch and see how fast things progress)

They'll also get GHxT pollen.

Saludos!

Hi LowFalutin,

The good news is that we are on the process to re create the purple haze 23 x panama and green haze 19 x panama hybrids again, but this in time in feminized format, reversing an amazing pamana female from last panama selections, so i think this new re creation of the hybrids will be much better than the previous standard ones from 2008. I'll send you some when they are ready so you can continue with your original plan ;)

Hey guys. Not sure if this was discussed yet but what was the panama female like that was selected for these new fems? Was it the green or red pheno? What came out of the purple haze x panama standard was some of the best weed I've had in a long time so I'm wondering how the fem version will differ.:tiphat:

No I dont make the crosses just my f2, there are from Trip seeds a local Chilean seedbank that rework some nice genetics and crosses (from: ACE,CBG,Tom Hill, etc), find then in facebook. Have find some nice hibrids and sativas there...

Hi Gerardbutler79, im glad you enjoyed the previous haze x panama standard release (2008-2009), we expected that the new fem version would be even better but unfortunatly we didn't coordinate correctly the haze flowering with the panama reversion for a commercial release.

Anyway, We have produced other interesting panama fem hybrids:

Malawi killer x Panama fem
Zamaldelica (mango carrot pheno) x Panama fem
Zamal x Panama fem

The panama fem selected for reversion is not a typical green, red or purple pheno, the individual has an amazing combination of the best traits from the line: very high yielding, vigorous, very high flower/leaf ratio, resinous, super strong lemony incensey aroma .... just not colorful, but the blend of the other traits make her the best candidate for breeding.

hola dubi.

I like the sound of the Zamal x Panama fem.
Any idea when the release date will be?

...and any chance of a Zamal x Koh Chang Thai hybrid in the future?
(por favor!! oh, the humanity!!! think of the children!!!!)
EDIT: or Zamal x Double Thai :ENDEDIT

columnar-iest Nepal Haze lady at final flower kick-off

She traded her Nepalese "stink" for a niiice lemon scent during the initial
2-week-flowering-to-determine-sex, a bit over a month ago. Getting
cloned today.

Interesting indeed! Those crosses must be nuts.

What's your breeder zamaldelica pheno look like? What's it like for effect? Scary like that tall skinny thai zamal I had? More of the dense malawi side? I need details..

Hi LowFalutin,

We did a Zamal x Meo Thai cross and it was very electric! The Angola Thai was also very interesting in the same way, both are worth to re create without any doubt.

We released the first Zamaldelica x Panama fem packs (and other very special limited editions) past weekend during the Spannabis Fair. It was mainly a detail for our loyal customers that are already familiarized with our classic catalogue and want to try new crosses between our very best mums. In this case we pollinated the 27 % THC Zamaldelica mum (with amazing mandarine/mango/sweet carrot aromas) with pollen from the Panama 'Goddess' reversed. I like to call this Panama 'Goddess' because it has the best balance of traits i have seen in a single panama individual, and we have working with many many panama individuals for the past 10 years. They are the very best elite phenos from each strain, mixed together.

Holy shit that Zamal x Panama is gonna be insaaaaaaaaaneeeee
Looking forward to seeing it up on Ace's site. Soon hopefully.

Here are the two NepalHazes @ 36 days of 11d/13n...

The shorter one seems to be more Nepalese-leaning, and is yellowing faster.
Probably a bit more of a N eater. She was a little harder to clone too.

I'll be hitting them with GHxT pollen soon, to create a skunk/indica-free
(Nepalese x GHzA) x (GHzB x Thai) hybrid.

The taller of the two will get up-potted from a 2 gal. smart pot to a 3.
Their stems're yellowing too early, as I've been a bad N manager.
The smaller's a little too close to finishing for the up-potting ceremony.
Maybe another week or two to go. At least she'll be flushed.
BTW, she's giving off a honey-n-hay smell that reminds me of my NepJam awhile ago.
The taller one has only a bit of that smell, with a hard-to-describe spiciness filling in the rest.

Hi LowFalutin,

I think the flowering will be more abundant if you re pot them to bigger pots. They are still in early flowering and will use all the new nutrients to make thicker and bigger flowers.

(Nepal/Haze) x (Haze/Thai) sounds like a very interesting cross

Hopefully your Green Haze Thai selections are doing well!
Best wishes!
