KQ x Ssh does look good. Not vigorous though when you compare it especially too Psycosis x Ssh and also the Pk x Ssh which were germmed at exactly the same time!
Still, cuts will be floating about when poss.
Bet that will look amazing grown bigger

Wicked plant there mate.

Makes me wonder if perhaps led is not cracked up for producing big bushes. I only went with 2 Pmite under the 1200w vegged for 1month. Usually under 600w hid I would hit 10-12oz per plant. As previously said I will be lucky to hit that from the pair.

Or, it's that I maybe had the led too close. The led has been around 18 inch from the tops. As said I have never grown such resinous plants. I think the plants have put all their energy into producing resin and not bud weight.

Next run I'll try with more, smaller plants and keep the light distances at least 24 inches away.

I noticed the buds on the BM were loads harder this time.. Maybe slightly bigger too not by much tho

Did your plants upper leaves "Clam Up" Herb? (RE KQxSsh) At one point that plant was 7" away(sure) from the light but they clamed up (as i say :D) pretty darn quick ?

Maybe light distance is what gave it a crown of flowers

Awesome looking Stuff DD

? Well even the leaves of the Chem d "clam up" under the LEDs (imoe) late in flower so I Suppose you must have witnessed :smoke:

Also to add, I haven't seen any Chem D mottling on your Chem 4dd for over 5 runs, i use a little calmag all the way up to week 4-5.

Well I won't do a sog due to plant numbers, but I won't do a 2 plant scrog like this time.

It could be the Pmite just don't bush under LEDs, I dunno. But what I do know is that I have ditched the Pmite now. Gets very boring, quite fast. Real shame as its prob the best mom I've had. Stays a nice short bush. Yields of 200 cuts every 2 weeks, 100% strike rate and in 5-7 days.

You know you might have a point, I didn't grow her very well the first run, hope the second run will be better. I found it to be quite similar to the psych d but strong in its high. What's your next momma going to be bro? Did you find any keepers on your seed run of the Casey crosses?

Hi mate to identify the Chemmy Jones from chem D. The Chem D has bigger wider leaves some almost roundish and grows more bushy it has thinner stems. I find being quite aggressive chopping of the lower foliage help with both strains produce bigger colas I find the buds equally as fat under the LED. I think to many problems are blamed on LED lights if the same problem occurred under an hid people wouldn't blame the light. Personally I find a 900w led will match an HID, the light which yields more varies each crop its down to the plants under the light even the same clones can vary. Had a 600w LED produce more than a 900w LED but generally that's not the case. During the winter I use a couple of HiD's to warm the room up then you have a certain amount of crossover. Wouldn't buy any more 600w leds only because the 900w have more penetration saying that I will comtinue to use the two 600w ones as well the more the better. Not saying theirs anything wrong with hids they are good for winter to keep temperature up, if in doubt use both and get the best of both worlds.

I've just finished setting up the (r)DWC and this time I'm using both the 1200w led and the new vert Hps reflector with 600Watt Bulb.
I should have 4 lights tbh

Observation
I'd not long moved 8 BM into Vegge and these remaining 2 are now in 8l Rhizo pots of Coir.
For at least a Good Week these were fed 1/2 Strenth Nutes and 2ml per ltr of CalMag.Still has the rusty leaf problem though !?

Hey Tony mate, well as you see I have been trying these LED lights but have now decided that I just dont like the vegging results so far so I have rehung my 2 Magnum xxl shades without glass running 2 MH bulbs to see if things improve and if they do its deffo these lights. The problems I am having is slower lateral growth and more leaf discoloration than you can shake a stick at.

Peace

Edited to add: I have noticed that as I have 3 of these LEDs the plants are growing very well under one but the other two they are slow with discoloured leaves, so whether its the amount of one type f LED used and not enough of another who knows? I think if I was to invest in these lights again I would go with a USA made one and wait for better proven results than buy cheaper Chinese LEDs. I will soon be running one of these in my cupboard right next to a HPS so side by side over half an NFT tank each to see exactly what the differences are, and why two of my units perform worse than the other. But at least I tried LED but now I cannot afford the problems associated for me with them.

I found the veg on the led 1200 to be very good, but virtually no virticle growth. All horizontal and a hell of a lot of leaf. I tied my two plants down and vegged for 2 weeks and they did not even grow an inch upwards. But completely filled the tent sideways.

I'm still in two minds whether to use this unit again.

Their techno lights mate ya gotta have some hip hop blaring away too :D

All about the Strain IMO.But really you don't become an expert with a strain until you've grown it time and time again*and with a constant induction of new stuff makes that harder to achieve...Jus' a thought

*and used various Products/Techniques

Gonna be interesting to see which of my bm's fares best on the other thread !

Update 20-12-13 @7.05pm changed the 600w duo bulb to a MH so now blueeee light vs 1200w Led Purple..
