Diesels from seed don't always have the full bouquet, so clone run in order homies! However I can tell you her presence is known and we ain't shootin blanks!! This is a single seed, so I can only make any observations and predictions based on a lonely sample...but the word is promising!

Keep your smelly fingers crossed, and moist there fellas. Very much in peace!

Ah thats sucky they dont have the full smell, still super chunky tho.

I just started a bunch of Ratdogs Sour Dibble F2's I made with my best 2010. I had a guy that was going to give me the real cut but then he got greedy and decided not to share. That was a real kick in the nuts, such is life.

Im going to blow the roof off with sour this winter, if I go too long without it people start asking you know how that is.

The most sour feeno was a stump, and a leaf factory. Decided to keep her, till I tossed it! All isn't lost on eth1, we need her to fully mature before unhooking her bra straps homie!

2010 IBL: $200 pack, bought the hype (while drunk!)

Yeah most of my IBL's were garbage too, 7 males and 3 females 2 were stumpy crap. I got the 1 good female and made a truck load of seed so I feel I got my moneys worth out if it. I see most people struck out with their IBL's.

This is the keeper female I used to make the F2's, I think it fits the bill nicely, I had plenty of males to choose from. I still have the 2010 cut it is one of my favorite plants aside from being really finicky. My plan is to run the F2's find the most sour male and cross back to the 2010.

2010 IBL from seed, much more branchy from clone

Thats a clone in veg

4SD

4SD

I've been dabbling with 4SD S1 seeds for a long while now. I get them every time I run any of my 4SD cuttings. From my experience, not all plant's produce good seeds. Because it's recessive, there are time's when the treasured sour gene skips a generation. Seedlings never seem to have uniformity in overall leaf and plant structure. For example, seeds from the same plant produce different looking plants - some more sativa leaning, some more indica- with different smells - some sour, some not. Some are decent, some are junk. It's all about persistance and luck of the draw.

Last year I found an S1 that was Sour Lime, kind of like sour Sprite. It even has a distinct lime green color. She was a big yielder with tons of vigor, and had the original 4SD overall plant structure. She almost chocked me to death with her overpowering super potent sour lime terpene's when I gave her the chop and skinned her. She also gave up some big fat S1's, and some of her progeny exhibit a very stinky, sour & chemy brew, and look very promising.

Here's what a few of them look. All sister's from the original Lime Sour Momma that was an S1, that was found in a harvested cutting, that originated from a genuine breeder pack of 4SD that I bought from the Bou. Still quite young, but striving hard and working O/T to earn their street cred.....:pimp3:

They love lots of Cal/Mag, but you have to be careful not to over do it. Light leaks and high temps are a big faux pas that will only stress them, inviting Ziggy Stardust and the Village People to headline the party.

Lime Sour Pheno - looks a lot like her mom in both color and structure but has more vigor. Stretches beyond crazy, turns floppy, and stinks like sour lime dipped in fuel with hints of skunk. Note the lime green color :

This pheno is almost a carbon copy of the original 4SD pheno from the breeder pack in both structure and the complex sour-chemy- lemon-fruity-garlic- fuel infested smell. Its lower branches stretch big time - out and up - making it look like a Christmas tree. Doesn't show it so much in this pic, but it does have a darker green color overall.

Sativa dominant in overall structure with roundish indica like buds, and smells like sour lemon dipped in racing fuel :

And of course everyone has heard this:

At a Grateful Dead show at Deer Creek Amphitheatre, 'joebrand' (aka 'wonkanobe') and 'pbud' met 'chemdog' and sold him an ounce of very high quality pot for $500.

Joe and chemdog exchanged numbers and they later arranged for two ounces to be shipped to chemdog on the east coast.

According to chemdog, one ounce was seedless and the other had 13 seeds. Here began the Chemdog lineage and from there many of the highest regarded clones in the USA.

Brief background

In ’91, chemdog popped the first 4 seeds. From these seeds, one male was found and disposed of (chemdog was young, you can’t blame him). The 3 females were labeled ‘chemdawg’ (now ’91 chemdawg), ‘chemdawg a’ (now chemdawg’s sister), and ‘chemdawg b’.

In '01, chemdog and his girlfriend attempted to germ 3 more seeds, labeled c’, ‘d’, and ‘e’. the ‘e’ seed never germinated, ‘c’ turned out to be junk (according to chemdog), and chemdawg ‘d’ was the keeper. In 06, 'chemdog' and 'joebrand' reunited and joe was given 4 of the last 6 beans: Chemdawg phenos 1-4, '4' being the chosen keeper. Joe thought the '4' was the best representation of the original and thus dubbed it the 'reunion pheno'.

Chemdog still has two seeds left in his stash.

The Chemdawg Crosses

• 'OG Kush' (the original cut) came from an s1 from in a bag of '91 Chemdawg in the Lake Tahoe area in 1996.
• 'Sour Diesel' aka ECSD came from an accidental cross of ('91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL after the DNL hermed and seeded the room. The DNL's lineage is NL/Shiva x Hawaiian.
• Original Diesel' (also known as Diesel #1, Headband, Daywrecker Diesel, Underdawg) came from a cross of '91 Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi's Northern Lights) done by a guy known as ‘weasel’.
• 'chemdog' and friends made several crosses that are held closely by a small group of friends and acquaintances. Among them are:

1. Super Snowdawg (Bubble Chem x [Super skunk x Oregon Sno])
2. Giesel (Chem D x Mass Super Skunk)
3. Bubble Chem (Chemdawg’s Sister x Sag's Bubbleberry)
4. Dawg Daze aka ChemHaze (Chem D x ’93 Sensi's NL#5/Haze)
5. Chemdawg D x Pbud (another old-school Colorado strain)

JJ-NYC has been working on a Chemdawg D-based seed line for several years now. He started by crossing Chemdawg D to Sensi's Afghani after thoroughly testing both Sensi's Afghani and Sensi's Hindu Kush to determine which was more stable and would be better for the initial cross.

JJ then did a backcross, known as "Double Dawg." Several phenos of this circulate and several people still have beans. JJ's latest work to the line is a second backcross known as ''Tres Dawg" which is just starting to get tested.

Rezdog of Reservoir Seeds recently released several Chemdawg crosses as part of his 'Trinity' charity auctions. The crosses included Chemdawg D x Sensi's Hindu Kush and Snowdawg x Sensi's Hindu Kush, Chemdawg D x Sour Diesel IBL, Snowdawg x Sour Diesel IBL, ChemHaze x Sour Diesel IBL and Giesel x Sour Diesel IBL.

I've passed my 4SD cut to a couple of friends out here. I know that almost all of them have loved it, and those they've shared it with feel the same. I believe a friend of ours is running it in a DWC system and is killing it. I love it, and even though I'm not growing indoor right now. I'm still keeping it around. Outdoor it comes out a bit airy, like most sour does.

@baphomet i came across a old post were you say you just got the aj cut and you thought it was different cut then the one you had ... what made you think that at first ? then you ran them side by side and said that they were the same what changed when you grew them that made you say that ? and what one did you hold on to
