Something eerily similar about the Chem line and these G13/Hash Plant I just grew from ndnguy!! I've been growing Chems & hybrids of it for the last 2.5 yrs and I'm really starting to believe the Ghash maybe directly related to the Dawgs ....anyone who's every grown a hash plant notice the same extreme need for extra cal/mg?

Well, I think if you look at Rez lines that went the hindu direction, then look at JJ's lines that went the Affy direction...it's really not conclusive as to what the lineage is...

Although, JJ's are much more consistent with the chem funk so it is pretty easy to deduce he was more correct in his direction...

I still personally think that chem is skunk variant...or hybrid of...

there is a chance the original cut from mass has no mosiac trait. It could have bee aquired later on as the clone was passed down. I will have a set that came from mass and mailed to cali soon. a original set of 91,d,headband and sour.

altough nspecta may disagree

need more post to pm lol

Can't wait to hear your thoughts when you grow those out. I'm sure there will be a lot of folks tuning to for your insights. Thanks for all your contributions, whether intentional or thru blind happenstance, it's such a big part of canna-history. So cool of you to share in thread!

Well, I was still pretty newb a little over 3 yrs ago when I started this thread. And FTR, I lay no claim and take no ownership. It's done just fine by itself and everyone has gotten along great. It was pretty slow and uneventful for a while at first and I eventually found a comfortable hang somewhere else. What a surprise! I hadn't checked this thread for such a long time, but thanks to some really knowledgable contributors and well-respected "elders", for lack of a better term, it has really turned out to be quite good. Chem-family history straight from the horses mouth? Damn right! :woohoo:

A :tiphat: and a big :thank you: to all contributors, newbs and legends alike.

No one knows the TRU lineage of CHEMDAWG. Originally named DAWG until I ADDED the chem to the front of it. The diesel fuel taste I claimed to be chemmy.

NO ONE knows the actual lineage. There are a handful of people who may know who cracked the seeds and grew the dawg in 91.

They are OLD and dont do the internet.

there is no jack in it for sure 100%

The hp money mike speaks of came from ME indirectly and is not in the chemdawg. I am friends with and was present when the hashplant seeds were popped and the hp grower and the 91 grower were to different people who DID NOT know each other.

Anyone who thinks they know the tru lineage is guessing.

all chem strains are killer and different. i popped the 1,2,3,4 in 06 when chemdog and i got reunited.the 4 was bomb and the was good. there are not maney peeps with the 1,2. the 91 was popped around 91 and renamed diesal/aka nyc diesal. there were more beans in 2000 popped by chemdog labeled a,b,c,d d was the bomb.

that it for the record.

joebrand aka chemfather.

IF anyone want to help I got a case against me in june of this year. If there are any chem growers or specifically chem 4 growers that would like to help joebrand aka chemfather out let me know. I was not greedy in 06 with my chem strains and gave them out to as many folks as possible. If anyone want to help towards my legal fees it would be really helpful. I figure a few bucks from all the 4 growers would help me with my legal fees.

peace joebrand aka chemfather I cant pm if h&l can help activate my pm i would appreciate it

Joe it was called Dogbud cause it made you roll over like a dog, remember. We added the chem as a joke. Talked to S.C. the other day and he told me he was getting the Dogbud from Oregon Cali border back then. 1990-91.

M.N. here. And yes Shinanigans!:) I think people growing Dogbud back in late 80s early 90s were older guys back then which would make them real old now. You would think some cuts were handed down to some younger folk.

Interesting stuff. The chem family tree has grown and still some of the best strains available come from this tree.
