just got the breeding tent set up and the filter/fan installed,just waiting for cuts,better top the male,getting pretty big...doing it the old fashioned way,letting the male spew all over the females...i will collect some pollen but i seem to get way more seeds from just letting them do it wild style...

Afternoon everyone! Need some advice here.....

So im currently watering 3x a day for 3 mins each with an EC of 1.0-1.2 in 2 gallon smarties with chow mix. This give me a little bit of runoff each time which i just empty each day. Heres my problem...

i always test the runoff EC once a day and it usually sticks around the 1.2 or 1.4 mark but the past couple days its spiked up to 1.8 and even 2.0 one time when i checked it. I refilled my res with about 5 gals of nutes with an EC of .6 and ran it through my pots and the runoff was still coming out around 1.6.

I dont see any signs of overwatering and if i drop it down to 2 mins per watering it seems like they are drying out

What could be causing this? Im thinken of filling another 5-10 gallons up and running it through at a very low EC and see if it normals off a bit. Suggestions?

your thinking right, either very low ppm or just a good flush with plain water, I try to flush mine once every two weeks with plain water. doesent slow them down at all and gets rid of any nutes and salts not being used by plants.

Thanks JW, i am gonna give it a good rinse with a very low EC and see if that clears it out at all!

Also, any thoughts on this?

Ive started to get that on top of the coco in all my smart pots. Ive been reading about beneficial fungi or mold, but im not sure what is causing this....i have 3 fans blowing under the canopy so air circulation shouldnt be an issue

the strange thing too is this is the first run i havent had to fight fungus gnats....and i didnt even put perlite or sand on top to prevent the buggers from diggin....go figure

carlos,im usually riding alone so that sort of behavior can be a bit too risky....not that i will let that stop me! but since i have had enough close calls to err on the side of caution,im already injured enough thanks,cant really afford to get hurt,theres no back up to the bike aside from another bike...im still going to get my moneys worth out of the camber though,plenty of trails to ride around here...when i get the pugsly i also want to start trail building...theres plenty of arroyos i bet would make great fat bike trails since you could ride to the top on the roads and then drop down into the washes...should lend themselves to fast flowing trails with a bit of work...some of them are miles long,but since you can just cross country on fat bikes it shouldnt be too much work to stitch a nice trail together...

mornin gang...i'll type small so i dont wake you up!

just chop bustin,i wish i could sleep in some days,especially during the cooler months or the grey windy days we have been having...hard to get motivated to spend a couple hours in the saddle...right up until i get warmed up and everything starts working together,then im always glad im out...the worst day on a bike is still better than the best day sitting on my ass...

just about time to get the sssdh and c99 seedlings into cups,just a few more days until the big swtc99 comes down...need to get out in the veggie garden and do some planning since im only going to use the 45 gallon pots once and use them to grow veggies in this spring,i will just top dress in one of those dry organic happy frog type things and let them sit until it warms up and use them for tomatoes...

you can tell its almost harvest time here ..... been so busy in the rooms getting ready for when the trays open up , that i ain't had much time in here . early mornings (for me its early ) & late night visits is all i have time for .

stuck about 30 cuts last night till i ran out of cups ... still have about 20 more to go . only 3 left to show sex in the 4 x 4 room , but then i've got another 17 in veg that haven't shown yet .

funny story from yesterday...
i was making hash and i went to grab a teaspoon from the drawer and i was like wtf? where are all my spoons at? so i look around a bit and find like 15 hash crusted dirty spoons laying around..must have been a gram of bubble on them,just soaked them in iso and cleaned them off,gave all the hashmaking stuff a good cleaning...going to run some more batches this week,holidays and all,folks like a little treat...


im all ready for the next round of flower here,veg is packed from side to side,going to be nice to get the plants destined for largeness up potted and on their way...nice to have the seed plants in finally...

Chopped the huge ass DTC99 & put a few cuts into root .the other one turned out to be male .... kinda looked like that right from the start the way he was growing . & the P13's are getting huge too !!! those .... if i get 4 fems out of the 5 will probably get a tray all to themselves . they gonna be big ass bushes


I'll keep the glue trim for hash making , but the 818 trim i'll give to my kid so he can make his wax .
