Lowering N towards finish

Hello fellow farmers!
I have a question about lowering the N content of my nutrient schedule entering the finish phase. Heres what im working with.
Kush strains starting 8th week of flower and im using:

MagiCal: 2-0-0
Canna CoCo: A+B: A= 4-0-1 B= 1-4-2
Rock Resinator: 1-4-16
Seagreen: 1.5-.5-4.0
Holmbolt Honey: .45-.25.-1.8

Any suggestions?

14 days plain water. Done. Some strains need nutes a little longer so maybe 10 days plain water. I think randoms will disagree, but it's a pretty easy thing to make a plant fade. Cut the nutes at the right time (takes practice) and chop at the end of the dark cycle right before the lights come on. That's about the best you can do to get the junk out. RO or distilled helps if you have greater than 0.2ec tap water. I've heard chlorine can harden buds (probably untrue) so you can take another step by letting your tap water sit out for 24 hours. I use blumat drippers so I just fill a big rez and it does it thing.

I dont plan to start flushing until I see 25-30% amber. As of now, I have yet to see that!

Since I'm not familiar with your strain it's difficult for me to tell when flushing should occur. On mine if I waited until 25% amber then I'd be past my typical harvest point. What happens is the plants really slow down in feeding and this is how you can tell ripening is occurring. Mine have just begun to slow down as of two days ago and they have 3 more days left. Had I waited too long then not nearly as much plain water would be transported and I wouldn't get as good an N fade. It can be somewhat of a trial and error at first.

Hopefully this makes sense, your plant might turn to amber trichs earlier but have a few unfinished calyxs to swell up vs. another strain whos calyxs swell and finish early but the trichs turn amber way way later. 14 days from typical harvest can be a good starting point so on your next crop after this you'll have your # of flowering days down to your preference so do 14 day flush and see how it goes. For this one just try and get it about a week out. Good luck!! Sometimes making mistakes can teach you so much more and you'll be a beast grower because of it so don't fear the flush.
