Here is the chocolate thai haze pheno of chocolope. This pheno is leaning very heavy towards the haze, thai side of things. It smells to high heaven more than all the rest and has purple red stems the entire length of the branches.

Here is a chocolope that leans the other direction the bigger one to the cannalope haze side. It's leaves are way darker than the chocolate thai haze pheno and she has that supper smell similar to the thai haze female. Both of these smell way more than the rest. Found these in a pack from 07 chocolope. week 4 around day 28.

DNA Chocolope is (OG Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze) . Also called D-Line.
Cannalope Haze is Haze Brothers x Mexican Sativa.
Haze Brothers is Mexico x Colombia x Thailand x India

The pheno chocolate thai haze means it leans towards the chocolate thai and haze side of the genetics in growth, flavor, smell ect.

ok so there is no such strain as chocolate thai haze like I thought..chocolate thai is a landrace I believe,from Thailand. which is the mother of chocolope. so your saying your pheno has a good mix of both parents ?

To answer the former presidents question the pheno is showing the growth of chocolate thai and the haze influence way more than the Mexican sativa influence because it is not very branchy compared to the other chocolope's, the structure of the buds is more airy like a haze and the smell of chocolate, coffee, tobacco sweet smell. Not skunky at all. However chocolope #8 in the same group is way more on the skunky side of things and not very sweet. The Cannalope haze pheno has the same smell of the chocolate thai and none of the others has that exact same smell. You can see the cannalope dominant pheno has a very mexican growth pattern to it and leans that way. All the other chocolope plants look like a combination of both and is what I would call the 80% rule of hybrids. 80% look similar, 20% lean one way or the other or could be runts ect.

Hi, Bmac1... I too usually give chocolope lots of cal/mg, seems to love the stuff. Even though it is sativa dominate, I max it out on nutrients. Also, if you have leaf clawing, raising the humidity seems to help... although i've never notice the clawing to have a negative effect on anything.

I'm at 50 day flower with my chocolope and I have been giving her Epsom salts since the beginnin. I had to tie her back because she is so tall and very close to the light.
This choc has been odd since sprout. If it was not choc I would have tossed her.

My question is smell, she smells sweet and foul at the same time?

I'm glad I kept her she is kinda cool.

This choc has been odd since sprout. If it was not choc I would have tossed her.

I managed to get one to limp to the finish line. Was kind of sickly the whole way through. By far the smallest yield of the bunch but it sure was frosty and reeks of ripe cantalope. The smell transfers to the flavor as well and it is a great high. I hope the remaining seeds have a keeper in them.

My choc is not going to be a big yielder but ,I did let her veg for 6 weeks+ so it should be good enough .the others girls are doing great.
Have 2 beans of DNA choc left and I will implement them in the future because I do like her

Ive taken her at 63, but this run I took her close to 77. Im liking it more this run, but I cant say for sure if its cause I took her later. There were other factors that differed as well.

But I had 2 phenos to start with, both of them were pretty much done at 63, I think 70 is prime. At least for the phenos I got.
Both phenos i got are not huge yielders. I got 2.5 oz from this last plant with 2 week veg (from clone) in a 5 gal smart pot with General Organics nutes. Which isnt bad for me, but ive seen some huge yielding Chocolopes.

Mine tastes and smells like cantaloupe. Strongly. With a hint of a tootsie rollsish taste on the end of the exhale. But mostly ripe melons.
Also, My keeper pheno absolutely reeks in veg. Moreso than any of my og's or anything for that matter.

O yeah, and usually I cant smell the pot im smoking, but everytime I smoke this stuff, even I can smell how strong the traditional "Pot" smell is. Very classic pot smell. Brings me back.

The high makes me feel good, almost energized. It makes me a little paranoid when I go out into public, high on it. I feel like im in high school again. Unique for sure.

I have a 11 pack of Hazemans Cocoa Puffs. Im eventually gonna use a Cocoa Puffs male to cross to my Chocolope. To tring and bring out more chocolate.
The lineage on the Cocoa Puffs is Chocolate Trip x darowh's Chocolate Thai 2.5
