Hey everyone,
I'll be starting a new grow in a couple of weeks and wanted to make a journal for it. I bought some TGA Subcool Apollo-13BX and Timewreck seeds from a local dispensary and will be growing them in my 3x3 tent as well as 4 tomato plants. Each plant will be in a 5.5 gallon rectangular food storage container that's 11x11. The tomato plants are already planted in their containers so I picked 5 seeds to plant, 2 Apollo-13's and 3 Timewrecks (won the coin toss). I planted the seeds on the night of the 2nd and they popped yesterday, Dec 7.
The seedlings are in my base mix of 1/3 peat, 1/3 EWC, 1/3 Pumice with added gypsum, oyster shell powder, crab shell powder and rock dusts.
Here's what my soil looks like that they'll be transplanted in:
5 gallons of soil per container
1/3 Alaska Peat
1/3 Pumice/Rice Hulls
1/3 Compost/EWC
Food Mix
- 1 Cup Alfalfa Meal
- 1/4 Cup Veg Guano (3:1 N
)
- 1/4 Cup Flower Guano (3:1 P:N)
Fix-it Mix
- 1/4 Cup Kelp
- 1/4 Cup Neem Meal
- 1/4 Cup Karanja Meal
- 1/4 Cup Crab Meal
Mineral Mix
- 1/8 Cup Gypsum
- 3/8 Cup Azomite
- 1/2 Cup Oyster Shell Powder
- 2.5 Cups Glacial Rock Dust
Each container will have a blumat and living mulch. The entire grow will be under a 400w Eye Hortilux-Blue bulb. I am currently finishing up a grow in the tent which is due to be chopped 1 week from today. The plants will dry in the tent until ready to be cured in jars. Once the plant is in jars, the plan is; I'll rearrange the tent to fit the 9 containers, set up blumats, transplant, veg for a week, top/train as needed, veg for 2 weeks, flower.
