The girls are on day 53 of Flower now. I'm thinking about chopping at 71 days just for convenience on my part. I will get some more pictures up to show you the progress in a day or two.

I gave the girls their last feeding last night and took some shots while I was in there. They will be getting plain water for the next 20 days until harvest.

The girls are on day 60 of Flower now and the tops are getting heavy. They are all falling over each other and getting stickier by the day. I am still in love with the Critical Jack strain, the smell is sooooo strong and the buds are sticky like fly traps.

Alright folks, I was taking a look at the girls last night and figured I would take a few pics of them before harvest this weekend. The tops are all falling over and fighting for space now.

Here are the Cannalope buds, not a heavy yielder but she produces some nice solid nugs.

Well they are getting their last watering in a day or two and are getting chopped during or right after this weekend. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Everything got chopped on 11/30. I am a little disappointed in the amount but it should be enough to hold me over until my next harvest. I didn't take any photo's while I was trimming but I will get some pics up this week of the trimmed buds.

I have also retired the Kandy Kush from my garden. It was my least favorite out of the strains I currently have and I don't have room for all of them.

I took some pics last of the cured buds. The only problem is I suck at taking clear photos and my camera is a cheap one from back in 2003.

First off here is the trim and popcorn bud I have saved over the last two grows. It is in one of those gallon pickle jars.

I got some bubble bags over the weekend so Hash will be made in time for Christmas.

I ended up with like 1 1/2 - 2 ounces per plant, which isn't terrible but I feel I can do better. I got a lot of things going on at the moment but I'm getting ready for the next grow. The Double Berry and Kandy Kush are out of my garden and I am going to stick with Critical Jack, Cannalope Kush, and Sour Bubble.

I bought a 3 bag kit to make some bubble hash. The kit came with the 220 micron work bag, a 73 and a 25. I ran my trim and popcorn bud twice through these bags yesterday and am patiently waiting for the hash to dry.

Here is a picture of the bags inside a 5 gallon bucket with the ice, trim, and water.

The jar on the ground is a 1 gallon pickle jar that I had filled with trim and popcorn buds.

It looks like I my have gotten a little more from the second run but the first run looks a lot cleaner. There was around 4-5 grams of hash per bag, per run. The hash is currently drying so the weight will be going down but I am happy with my results.

Thanks OKD. I tried some of the first run of the 73 micron bag last night on top of some Sour Bubble and all I can say is WOW. That hash tastes great and F'd me up.

I got a lot of things going on with my next grow but with the holidays approaching I will probably not post much until after the new year. The next grow is going to be 6 plants, 5 gallon air and smart pots, and Scrog! I'm using both my cab and tent both with their own Scrog screen so this should be a big yielder!

Hey all, it's been a while since I've updated things here. Just wanted to fill everyone in on what's going on in my garden.

Here are the pics of the new girls. They are 4-6 weeks into veg, another 2 weeks to go before the 12/12 switch.
This is the top of the canopy in the armoire, two Critical Jacks and one Sour Bubble.

Everything is looking good so far. I still am training them with the nets and have to cut clones before 12/12 but everything is on track. I probably will not update this journal as much as I have since there isn't much difference in my growing style except I'm using ScroG this grow. Enjoy!

Hello again everyone, it's been over a year since I lasted posted here. I figured I would share what I have been up to.

To start off I had to build a new grow room in my basement. The room is 8x4 and I have two 400W HPS in there. The plants are placed in 3x3 areas to utilize a majority of the light.

I had some issues with my clones so the only strains I got at the moment are Critical Jack and White Widow. This room has 4x CJ and 1x WW currently and is 70 days in Flower, only a week or two left before the chop.

Well the girls were chopped on 10/9 which was 77 days of Flower. I wish I could have gone another week but this was the only available time for me to do the cutting.

I don't weigh the buds while they are wet but it looks like I got close to a pound which is pleasing. This is probably 1/2 of the buds after trimming.

I will update this in a week or two with the final weight and will most likely start documenting my next grow which will include Critical Jack, White Widow, Chocolope, Amnesia, Pinapple Kush, and one of a friends own strain called RonBerry.

So I wanted to get some opinions from here, I'm looking at replacing my two 400W HPS and using a single 600W on a light rail to cover this grow area which is 3x6 (WxL).

Now looking at this from a technical stand point I have 18sqft to cover which at 50W/sqft is 900W total. Currently I have 800W so if I switch down to a 600W I will be 300W below the recommended wattage for the area but my thought process is that the light mover may help with this and the lower wattage may not even be noticeable at harvest.

There are 3 main reasons I want to do this upgrade:
1) Lower electricity bill
2) Better light coverage (no shaded areas)
3) Potentially bigger/denser buds from the 600W

This upgrade would also allow me to re-use one of the 400W which I could use in my 3x3 tent for a second flower room for either SoG or maybe some hydro plants. This way I could get another harvest or two a year.

Anyway, I would love to hear some opinions from you guys/gals on if my upgrade is worth it and if you have any experience with switching to light movers.

I've read a lot recently about light movers and upgrading but everyone's circumstances are different so I figured I would spell out mine and take this sites trustworthy opinion on it.
