Deep Stoner Thoughts

"Why should anyone believe the government is truly concerned for the betterment of it's peoples when they outlaw a substance (Pot) as harmful and dangerous even there is zero evidence to support that other then the danger of getting incarcerated because it's illegal and yet at the same time legalize, support and encourage two of the most harmful and dangerous substances man has ever consumed (tobacco and alcohol)? "--Hempcat

Indeed, that seems totally illogical.
Quite peculiar.
Not quite sane.
Pig ignorant.
With malice for all.

Or is it?

Well, if you also allow the fact that Cannabis heals, it starts to put a different spin on it.

Say, you find yourself on a planet with finite resources.
Say that you are a some sort of illuminatti.
In a position of control.

You are presented with a substance that people can grow in window boxes, that will heal damaged neurons, and put cancers into remission.
Now, think about the limited resources again.

It makes a certain Spock-like sense in that light.
Think ahead. Think hundreds of years ahead.

If entire generations, selfishly extend their unproductive years by another decade or two what kind of existence will our future generations suffer?

Which is the greater good?
I'm just sayin'.

Aloha,
Weezard

Well there are many holes in what you're trying to suggest, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Probably the most significant being that the medical benefits were not understood and recognized by any possible illuminati types until well after it had been made illegal. So the potential benefits of it had no more real bearing on it's illegality then the alleged harms of it. The illegality of it, at least here in the US was strictly a result of greed and racial prejudice.

Then there is the fact that given that the planet has finite resources what sense is there in banning something that can serve as food, medicine, clothing, paper, and so much more, as well as something that makes it easier for people to cope with living on a planet with finite resources?

Do whatever it takes to undo what forced you to shut your grow down and then start it up again....duh :)

I'm very fortunate to be able to do exactly that. It's going to take some time tho.
And good Lord I miss the ladies...their fragrant scents and cool little waves.

Right there, is the missed point.
We knew of it's uses thousands of years ago.
(Ooops! I've said too much)

Are you absolutely sure of that?
Transparent, and forthright is not their "thing"

The illegality of it, at least here in the US was strictly a result of greed and racial prejudice.

Or, is that the "cover story" to mollify the "mehums", and the mechanism for the times?

See, there ya go, bein' all pragmatic, and real.
There's no argument really.
These are deep, stoner, thoughts, yah. :smokeit:

My goal?
To amuse.:)

Good to see ya writin' again, my friend.
This thread is a grand idea!

truth is the fundamental substance of existence, commonly referred to as 'energy'. the singular thread of consciousness that encompasses all of reality, responsible for creating the endless amount of expressions as the universe expands or is absorbed into the void of nothingness for eternity.

I just noticed my boat has some leaks and some weights, even a few too many anchors. Every day I should find and fix those leaks, the heavier weights often take more work to get lifted, I'll do that until my boat one day reaches top speed.

How can anyone talk about the weather for 5 full minutes?
Hot Cold
Clear/Rain/Snow
Degrees...

Why does it take so long to report the weather on the news? I could use a chart and be finished in 10 seconds with it. IDK, how can the weatherman be in such a good mood predicting bad weather. Whatever floats the boat! Lemon Skunked here; jpt

Can't help you there.

Our weather folks can "phone it in" most days.
Sunny, with a chance of Lava.

We no talk about it much, we jus' smile.
Paul Simon says:
"I can gather all the news I need from the weather report".
An fo' dat, I jus' look out da window. :D

The song Rocky Mountain High. Is it about getting high? Or am I just really baked? Or both.

They played the song at the grocery store tonight, and I heard something funny at the end. I looked up the lyrics tonight. Sounds like getting high. I loved John Denver as a little kid, but I never knew he was into weed.

If only John Denver were around now, to see his Rocky Mountain State become the First state to legalize. The songs that would come from the Rockies.

Like: Blue Dreaming Baby ...
Blueberry fields forever..
Hazey Crazy days of Denver...
...too much Lemon Haze x Skunk for me today.

We would probably have a strain called Johnnie D's, too! Odd, we don't have one, or do we? :thank you: jpt
