I grow with Earth Juice and ACT in Coco/perlite20%. A week or 10 days before harvest, I pour 1 gal pH'd tap, 1 gal pH'd RO, 1 gal pH'd RO with Clearex [sugar water] thru each 3 gal AeroBag. Then I just water with plenty of runoff till harvest. Once I started doing that all my strains started burning to a white/off white ash. Good taste. Lots of runoff to deal with. I got some lids that have a high lip for 5 gal plastic buckets, and drilled about 30 1/4 in holes. Just set the plant on the lid and pour thru. Makes all the runoff easier to dispose of. A bathtub would be better if it's available. Good luck. -granger

just give plain PH'd water for 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. You dont need all that clearing product if you give enough time with plain water.

We flush with plain tap water at around 5.9ph and at room temperature, 2 weeks before harvest. A bit of run off each flush. Some people who live in hot countries use water straight from the tap. We let our water stand for 24 hrs before using it. De-chlorinates the water and its at around 20C.
We always end up with a nice, smooth smoke and the ash is light grey (almost white).
To flush for final phase is fine with tap water, as you are trying do discard as much as possible.
but the thing with flushing because of over fertilizing is, to make sure the water coming out is at the desired ec, you can use tap water to do this.
just keep flushing continuously if possible, until the ec readings drop to where you want them.

When you overfeed you should simply water with a low strength solution. 100-200ppm. Get a good amount of runoff.
At the end of harvest I give them plain water for about 3 days after Ive reduced my nutes to nothing. I start by fading out micro and then fading out bloom.

PHing flush water keeps the plant unlocked so it can use up extra nutes stored in it's tissues.. IIRC
I hope who ever negged this post isnt one of the people giving advice.
Low nute solution is better than RO at removing salts.

Coincidence that Grassot`s Dad posted straight after me ? I highly doubt it ... Ganja Man / Grassot`s dad likes to cause conflicts .
And freely pass on poor quality grow techs . Keep in mind this is a guy who shows pix of other peoples crops and claims them as his own 1 GPW grow .

this ain't worth arguing about, everyone is going for the same effect, ie reducing the ec in the slabs. we all agree to that in the end.
personally, i've always used tap water with some zym product for big flushes.
anyway what ec do you consider the best flushing ec if one were to try it?

I run an EC of 1.2 . [around 850ppm on my truncheon .Tap water. > 100ppm ] During bloom .
So I`d call low strength 400ppm . I am wary of flushing too hard and stripping essential nutes and the appearance of 5 petal flowers .
I find plants drink less as they reach maturity .
As well if flushing the medium is the aim . A low strength solution will bind with salts more readily than plain water . Allowing them to be flushed out with run off .

*Breathe* Back on topic, as I stated before, IME flushing 2 weeks before chop (with a decent amount of run off) gives us a nice pure smoke with whitish ash. Nutes don't taste nice at all!
