I just watched Out of the Furnace with Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson, among others. I feel it is my duty to report that this movie was a piece of crap and only just barely entertaining because of it's all star cast (who can resist willam dafoe?), violence, sex and, drugs. But seriously, don't support this turd wrapped in 300 million dollars. If you must watch it, and I don't blame you, at least use the secret internet technique.
fast n loud gas monkey. I miss my hot rods a lot an I miss working on em a bit too.with gas prices I had to go economical 4 cylinder. I have to hang my head low and wear sunglasses. always been a bigass v8 person till now, but my ride is cool looking an I tweaked it a bit lol. flipping rides is fun when you don't have to rush and can wait for your price to be met.
A movie titled, "Samsara." If you're tired of hearing people yapping away, this is the movie for you...not one word of dialogue! Shot on 70 mm film, the imagery is spectacular. It's free for streaming on Netflix too.
EDIT: After watching the first 2 minutes I am realizing I should add this...it pays to be good and ripped for this one, good and fucking ripped.
EDIT #2: After watching the next 30 minutes or so.....ACK!! I'm not in the right mood to be watching this tonight. Tell ya the truth, it's kinda freaking me out....some parts are down right freaky, in both the imagery and musical score, had me feeling uncomfortable. My favorite film in this genre is Baraka, by the same film maker, and I think even if I was in the right mood to watch Samsara tonight, I'd still end up rating Baraka higher. Though both of 'em require being in the correct frame of mind to enjoy them. Gotta be feeling the introspection thing to enjoy these, what I'll call "visual poems."
