I tried once again for the 1st time in years to find some legit clone only clones through various dispensaries just about all across norcal... and the conclusion Iv come to is that while you may find some gems... its too few and far between and too up in the air when it comes to quality and actually being the name brand strain you bought. and in the rare occasion that you do find a gem, 5 out of 10 have pests.
now others here may have had different experiences... thats fine... and im not saying iv never seen a legit clone only grown from a dispensary.. im simply saying its hit or miss.. and i think this has to do with multiple vendors selling through a place that until recently didnt differentiate vendors and furthermore, for the most part, dont know much if anything about growing and cloning anyhow.
My question is, how many of you med patients out there need legit clones, and if you answer yes then my next question if there was a clone service run by a grower where you could get your medical clones direct, would you be interested?
dont hold back guys... if u think its a dumb idea let me know...
i just see the current options as shitty... either get a possible pest infested, unknown genetics from a dispensary that is all about changing names for marketing reasons, or shady, i dont know if ur even a med patient, growers from craigslist who could easily be a scam....
for those of you that were in norcal almost 5 years ago, youll probably remember a much different clone scene...
95% of the clones were absolute bullshit meds and totally not the strain they called it.... and i really think this was about trying to hoard the good strains for as long as possible so when patients tried theyre hand at a clone or two, it comes out as garbage, and whether the patient thinks damn i got ripped off, or damn im justa terrible grower guess thats why i stick to buying the pros stuff, theyre heading back to the dispensary to buy another 50 dollar 8th.
things have changed since then... but id def say to still watch out for shit strains from shady dispensaries.
