RO question for all you guys: What should i have my buddy look for in an RO unit? He got one at HD for about $120 a few months ago, but im not convinced its working properly.

tap water comes out at 1.2 and out of the RO its 1.0. that CANT be right....defective or just a cheap unit is was im wondering.

Do you guys have any recommendations on a decent RO system? 200$ range

I would never clip in on serious mountain trails. If you did that on the salmon falls trail, you may not come back alive. I was almost seriously injured, without clips. I ciuld have been killed if I was clipped. Cliffs, hairpins, switchbscks, river crossings. I went over the handlebars last time. Plus there are puma, and rattlesnake. My buddy rolled over one. Had his legs up on the handle bars real quick.

Evenin fellaz. It's but ass cold and icy hear. Rain turned to sleet just in time or things would be a lot worse. Only got about 1/8 inch of ice before the sleet hit.

:yoinks: thats a lot of ice. Heat from a gas oven will put lots of moisture in the air. Must be cold as hell there

thats a really dangerous way to heat your house, good way to die in your sleep...be careful...

thats why i fell both times doc,my cleat engaged at just the wrong moment,if i had been able to stand up quick enough i probably could have horsed the pedals over enough to keep moving but you lose traction as soon as you stand up....i just need more dirt time is all,the ogre is great on dirt roads and smoother terrain...or just one thing at a time, rocky is fine as long as its not rough and loose...rough is fine as long as its not steep as well...you see where im going with this...the ogre is a fine mountain bike, but is much better suited to dirt roads or actual trails...
well good thing i have the camber now then, its much more at home it the kind of stuff i rode today...alot of it may have actually been fun on a full suspension bike...

tomorrow back on the road bike for a long slow ride,i have a nice 30 mile loop in mind i should be able to finish in 2 hours, doesnt matter,im after 2 hours of easy pedaling time...if it goes to 2 1/2 hours thats fine...the point is to take it easy and not kill yourself...sunday i want to do a long hill climb out to the west mesa...been fun riding around here as my range has expanded...just getting to the interesting parts of all this now, being able to tackle 3-4 hour rides..working my way up to 8 hour days in the saddle....i should be able to cover a good bit of ground in that amount of time...

and the last shot of the night is the Wifi Alien. Ive been having problems with this one basically since the start of 12/12. I must done something wrong, she's started by letting me know she was pissed by drooping her leaves and turning her stems purple. Then she started dropping leaves like it was her job, all while prematurely yellowing. Maybe it just needs more food than the other strains. I dunt know. Anyways...

I think you need to fill out a last will and testament and leave everything to your good friend joesy just in case you don't return from one of these crazy trips you do. maybe wear a homing devise so we can find your remains. don't want some poor buzzard getting poisoned from eating your carcass

:tumbleweed: oh,i was within dragging distance of a road all day today...in the future i will be riding with a gps unit, but i always ride with a survival kit in my pack, first aid kit, mylar blanket, rescue whistle, fire starting stuff, food, water,a multi tool and a flashlight...going deeper just means more gear to carry is all...12 years in alaska taught me the value of being prepared...

if i had thought i was in over my head i would have backed off,i have had more than my fair share of mini epics so i tend to be cautious out there since i ride alone, and im generally not in any sort of hurry out there...im more out there to explore rather than go mountain biking really, most of the time im just cruising along....i use my brakes a lot....frickin disc brakes on mountain bikes is the butter baby...you can just pick your way down slopes because you have such fine control over the brakes and they are powerful...

stuffed and babbling again...cooked a turkey breast with mash taters and sausage and corn bread stuffing and squash and gravy and green beans.....and theres an apple cobbler waiting....

joesy, just wait another year till theres actual something worth having, unless you need a rack of bikes and a big tv and a bunch of cactus...and a shit ton of glassware....aside from that its some crappy furniture and lots of bike shorts....

another year there will be at least 4 bikes and slightly less crappy furniture and a nice grow room and a greenhouse out back so it will be far nicer...plus some sort of surround sound dealy for the man cave and at least basic cable,i'll make sure to save you a seat for the tour de france party in july...
