Hello everyone!

:tiphat: Hi everyone.

I'm into this purely to help my husband with his severe pain problems. 3 months ago we were out of state visiting some family, and a friend used MMJ for his pain that was from a car accident - no prescription meds helped him at all, so instead he uses cannabis. It works for him, and I have no problems with it.

I was leary about my husband trying it because of the legality issues surrounding it (especially as the state we were in was not pro-medical use), but I knew it could help. Much to my surprise, it helped EMENSELY. It brings his pain from a 8/9 most days with his meds to a decent 5/6 most days even with his activity level being MUCH higher than he was before! :) YAY!

So we're doing our first grow, 5.5 weeks into flowering, and I've done tons of research. I'm a science NERD, so I'm always enjoying new things and experiments and trials and such - so I'm LOVING this growing indoors just to see what happens. :)

Looking forward to learning a LOT more from everyone here! :)

(BTW, I was trying something with a couple boy plants a few weeks back with putting a lot of fruit in the pots to give off ethylene gas to see if that might influence them. No idea if it had any effect at all, but I have the one surviving boy after chopping the rest who is staying outside, and he has THREE female flowers on him with a LOT of male flower buds about to open... Dunno, but it's kinda cool either way)

Hey Buggy - welcome to ICm! :tiphat:

I have to admit - that you are willing to go this route for your husband and his health is really touching.

There is a lot to learn when you first start and then like anything else, it all become second nature, and everything falls into place.

You'll quickly learn that NOTHING beats growing your own - even if it isn't quite the best right at first - the connection that you get with the plants and producing something that you know will directly improve you quality of life, makes it quite special...

Hope you find answers to all your questions - you're at the right place to learn. Again, welcome! Your husband is lucky to have such a lady in his life! :respect:
