do you think cannabis frees you from the programming?

For some but not all.

There's enough shit hidden in everyday products to melt your mind into a bucket of mush.

I do however think herb is a great doorway into the realm of possibility.

it can free you from man made chemicals that throw our body of homeostasis and into dependency

alcohol, pharmaceuticals, tobacco, refined sugars and the like

Yes... cannabis helps your mind resist programming.

Classic example of use while remaining programmed would be a couple of the jokers on here that use cannabis and seem to be extreme prohibitionists. Sad really as I can't imagine the internal strife and emotional issues they go through. A lot comes through in their typing/posts... but that's not the full brunt and you know it.

Robert Anton Wilson was a strong advocate of using a lot of cannabis when exploring and reprogramming yourself. It's my belief that he's quite correct.

Keep it Clean! :D

I never allowed myself to be programmed. That or I have always been a stoner that questioned everything.

YOU DECIDE! :)

Of course it does. Didnt you watch the cabin in the woods? It was basically tje main story line that the stoner was immune to the government mind controll.

lets define this programing a bit more in detail if you really want to bring light to the subject.

This topic describes is a real dynamic and in fact marijuana does cause a difference in how we interpret our own egos and thus the world around us. it has been my experience that certain strains can amplify the quintessential existentialistic state of being hereby described.

Our bodies and our minds included are filters and everything you put in those filters biases them and most people are unaware of the magnitude and the causation involved.

As growers we have living examples in our mists, plants that we manipulate and manage a myriad of environmental variables in order to dictate the plant growth. We have examples of causation to illustrate the concept.

Now extrapolate the concept and apply it to our minds.

The "program" we are breaking is the simple paradigm of the human condition, do as you see. It is part of our base nature to be behaviorally viral. This is how we learn as children. In fact some of us are "wired" to conform to the norm, it is part of those individuals biological nature. In fact I think we all like to be part of what we are willing to accept and if that is not the mainstream norm it still ends up being a norm to ones self and becomes the common denominator for finding and connecting with like minded individuals.

Our society(ies) are strife with mainstream paradigms that contain many unsavory components. Smoking and looking at these paradigms from a different point of view allows us to break the programming that is detrimental.

I think cigarette smoking is one good example. We can intellectualize beyond the instant gratification to see that it is unhealthy and break the programming of addiction through understanding.

These paradigms are reflections of us and they can as we do evolve and grow and change.

It is easy to smoke and look at the paradigm of the world around you and get disenchanted and disenfranchised.

Remember, it is our base nature to be viral, to imitate those around us, and much of the nature we abhor in others is the product of people imitating others.

The only way to really fix the programed around you after you break your own is to share that free being with others in hopes it becomes viral.

So not only do we have to be cognitive and take ownership of what we put in our filters we should really do the same for what we put out in the world into others and how we choose to interpret what we choose to put in our filter effects the world in how it effects us.

Ok, you know that feeling of an info-mercial being really cheesy and fake? Marijuana makes it ten times that. It's not the derealization, or depersonalization or any bullshit like that. It's a conscious shift and then you look at yourself from another perspective (really ego) like a trainable monkey, and see that these monkeys are trying to take advantage of the other monkeys' inherent programming and yours and you laugh.

MARIJUANA STOPS THE MIND CONTROL PROGRAMMING (Video clip)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=idxoMDVJ4Fw 1 minute video clip.

btw, that 1 minute clip was part of a 1hour57minute video about mind control, Cathy O'Brien the victim is intro'd with this:

On May 7, 1966 a 9 year old child named Cathy O'Brien was subjected to an occult ritual named "The Rite to Remain Silent". This is her own very shocking and eye-opening life story about her experience as a CIA MK-Ultra Whitehouse Pentagon level trauma-based Mind Control slave. She speaks out to expose those who abused, who go right up to presidents and congressmen and women and to give voice to the many mind control victims out there who can't think to speak out.

O'Brien claims to have been abused since she was a toddler by her own family. Forced to partake in satanic sadomasochistic child pornography movies produced for Gerald Ford, she was eventually sold to the CIA, which was looking for traumatized children for their mind-control program ... U.S. Presidents Ford, Reagan, Bush and Bill Clinton; Canadian Prime Ministers Pierre Trudeau and Brian Mulroney; Mexican President Miguel de la Madrid; Haitian dictator Baby Doc Duvalier; Panamanian President Manuel Noriega; and King Fahd of Saudi Arabia all sexually brutalized her. She recounts in graphic detail how the elder George Bush raped her thirteen year old daughter and how she was forced to have oral sex with Illuminati witch Hillary Clinton ... While being sodomized, whipped, bound and raped, O'Brien overheard the globalist elite planning a military coup in the United States and conspiring to usher in the satanic New World Order

now idk, this could have been written about Cathy to make her look crazy, or it's real and she be holding out on us 'cuz it's getting obvious here, she's got the best shrooms/acid known to man.......

the clip is retarded, as well as thinking that can cannabis magically "frees your mind", whatever that means, is retarded also.

I've seen people get more brainwashed with cannabis use, they smoke for the first time, over do it, get a panic attack, and this experience cements their belief in prohibition.

people who smoke and cannot handle the psyche activity are plenty and you'll see 'em complaining about how "evil" cannabis is in a couple of months in Colorado and WA...

lets not even get started on the people who smoke and then end up balls deep in the whole paranoid world of "illuminati conspiracies"

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Cannabis is not for everyone. just like alcohol is not for everyone, it does not mean it should be illegal, people just need to know wth are they doing. You need a degree of talent to use mind-altering substances and you need to approach them with knowledge and respect.

just a few weeks ago I was at this birthday party, and some chick wanted to try smoking herb for the first time, so someone passes her a joint made with rolling tobacco with hash melted on it... the chick takes about four or five big rips, and 5 minutes later she has a whitey... of course, she does not smoke tobacco, has no tolerance for it, and smoked way too much for her non-existent tolerance to hash. she had a whitey and a bad trip at once...

stupid kids... we're doomed if these young idiots are our future...

I just get high. I don't know what the hell...you peeps are doing. cannabis elevates me...motivates me...makes me want to get going.
Real simple....

freeing a mind from programming? what?...I'd start by turning off electronics.
