Black Oak Arkansas '70s stuff, we went to at least 4 BOA shows in about as many years, probably '72-'75.

This first video is from The Midnight Special (1975), a TV & FM radio simulcast; very cool as it allowed us to enjoy the show & fine stereo from the true stoner perspective of bong, couch, beer & munchies all within reach & no line @ the urinals.......

This second tune is 'Mad Man' a cut that worked up the band and audience as well, BOA never failed to excite the audience fully.

Almost done: Jim Dandy would always wring the show dry doing Red Hot Lovin' ~ again gettin' the job done, the fans absolutely fired up.

Like any great showman Jim Dandy understood & controlled his show well.

Last one.......

'Moonshine Sonata', happens to be an instrumental but is the type of tune BOA played to slow the tempo of the show down occasionally giving the band & audience a rest, a musical roller coaster. 'Back to the Land' & 'Happy Hooker' would be a couple of more tunes having the same calming effect.

memories of going to Black Oak Arkansas concerts with high school & college friends are burned in my mind, the '70s, it was an awesome era in rock n' roll & being in NYC meant that almost every band was coming through at least once a year, sometimes more.
