I have been experimenting with sound wave meditation at night and during daily meditation, I can say it helps me focus deeper, there are waves that are tuned to certain parts of your brain, kinda interesting, I have had better nights sleep with some of the deep sleep tracks.

What are your experiences.

Google Binaural beats

I got one like that years ago at walmart. It worked well, the repetitive sounds put you to sleep, my fave was white noise
I got so used to it after a while I couldn't sleep without it ha ha.

I bought a fan and that worked after the machine broke.

But seriously if you have an MP# player you can get a torrent file and play it while you rest.

Peace

dsp blog for a free vst plugin "valhalla freqecho" in two parts:
http://valhalladsp.wordpress.com/20...cho-binaural-beats-and-the-strange-mechanism/
http://valhalladsp.wordpress.com/category/binaural-beats-2/

the idea here is that you can use this free software to prepare your own recordings by frequency shifting one/both of the channels. pretty easy, somethnig like minihost or savihost will host the vst plugin.. or there are some free audio editors like wavosaur that allow vst processing. worth a read, the notes (and tags) are kinda interesting, kinda.

lol. now ppl need machines to save them from the machines.

I did that binaural beats meditation like 15 20 years ago. Didn't last very long with it. The tracks eventually get kinda boring when you listen to them every single day. I'd rather meditate with good ol' fashion silence.

Not that I get much meditation in these days.

Aside from gardening that is.

You can also check out the apps from iapps dot bzsounds dot com for neat stuff. I've messed with them some.
