OTIB Keeper Pheno?

Its time to crack some new beans! On deck is Mosca's Old Time Indiana Bubblegum. As I understand this strain is a killer hybrid; and with my experience hybrid crosses often result with multiple phenotypic expressions.

Is there anyone around that can share their opinions on the phenos that they found in this cross? Is there a target pheno that I should be looking for?

hey manitresting thread, I split 10 beans with a friend, 5 for each, he already got his growing, while mine are in the fridge, well, out of 5 beans he accidentally killed 3 , the 2 left are fems, both of them are 3 weeks into flower, my friend said that 3 weeks in, smells were kind of low still, no very present, but resin production was insane on both fenos, and both of them were plants with thin branches that seem that will not be able to sustain buds on its own and might need some support, also said that the OTMIBB looks awsome compared to other plants in the same stage, and that both his plants had verry simmilar characteristics.... so far...so good! hope to see more feedback from other growers.... and some pics and smoke reports would be prety awsome as well

My favorite was the indica pheno. Moses wellfeet prefered the huge sativa pheno. check his gallery for photos. Most phenos will lean sativa. The biggest, most vigorous ones are gonna be where it's at.
One thing about this strain- it's a late bloomer, as in, it doesn't really start packing on the weight till later in flower, like after week 5-6.

Also- It's really strong pot. really strong.

Hi Crazyfool! I have a 10 pack coming; due to space constraints I can only pop 5 beans. My veg area is already backed up with JTR, Cotton Candy, Ripped Bubba, and an unknown soldier. On deck is OTIB, Mango Haze, and Ghostrider. So many choices and not enough room!

Hey Swampwater! The cool thing about working with hybrids is the different phenos that can pop up - I suppose it all comes down to personal preference. Some people want to get stoned while others want to be high. Due to medical reasons I have found that a potent sativa leaning pheno works best to control the symptoms of my disease.

Thanks for the late flowering tip. After a few grows under the belt we are forced to learn the art of patience. Good things do come to those that wait!

i grew out a pak of ot x ibg last may.
the keeper pheno for me was a sativa, potent and tasty as they come.
its a larger, more spread out pheno compared to the indie type.
it had smaller buds but the were every where.
out of 7 or 8 ladies 2 were sat pheno's.
only 1 put out around 80g the rest from 110g-135g per.

here's my sat pheno/kepper @30days
as swampwater said, they pak on weight later on in bloom

2 sat pheno's in veg

indie pheno top cola @69days

oh yeah merkaba, i had 2-3 indie pheno's that had huge calyx's.
the sat pheno's were small
i wish i still had that pheno, I'm running Co2 now and can't imagine how she'd perform

Hey Gnome. I'm interested in adding CO2. Can you tell me on avg how much gas is used for a 1k 4x4 per cycle? How long would a 20 lb tank last?

I'm on a gas water gen and a green air SPC-1 controller
currently running 900ppm

3rd coast has his room running Co2 tanked, check out his posts in the grow/design forums

Hi gnome. I was checking out those co2 generators. I was thinking I would experiment with the bottle first before the bigger investment.

Once the last tenant has vacated the clone condo it's time to pop those beans!

for 1000w bottled would do fine, i'm running 6KW in a med sized room so a gas gen is the way to go.
and if you want to get the water gas gen, get a tankless water heater on ebay.
mine was under $120.... shipped.
the hydro sites sell the EXACT same thing with a different cover and fancy logo on it for $200+ more.

come on in the new Mosca forum in strains hybrids when you pop them bad girls harley!
