Hallo!

Mein Deutsch im Schrift ist sehr sclecht,so i'll just move on in English
Hope you guys won't mind

Anyway,here is the question.Will be getting back from Amsterdam to Dusseldorf with a bus.Would love to bring with me some weed,not much,like 10 g.

Could anyone tell,do they often pull buses on side for control?
Are trains safer bet?
I'm not gonna have it on me,but i'm still bit worried about possible border control once bus enters Germany.

Unfortunately,i have already bought the ticket directly to D'dorf..
10 years ago,i was getting back to Frankfurt from A'dam with Touring.
Bus was pulled aside after we crossed the border,and cops have checked passports.All went well.
Now i'm just not sure do they do it regullary or just now and then...???

take that obviously illlegal herbs well covered under ur clothes and don´t look like a typical user - u won´t have any issues regulary. sometimes ur luggage will be separately checked... i can´t remember any situation where the cops in düsseldorf airport were searching directly on the person for some shizzle herbs. anyway, is it okay to discuss things like this here on IC?

illegal activities, which have nothing to do with cannabis or illegal activities besides growing, buying or possessing cannabis,
like smuggling for instance?
i don't know either.

Well,IMHO,thats bull as this whole forum IS about doing or contemplating stuff which is illegal in most of the world.
Guess they must have it to avoid possible consequences.

Anyway,we're waaay off topic.
Guess there will be others with similar question,so if anyone can leave some input,please do so.

Never got controlled in a bus but plenty in trains and cars. I could tell you stories ...
If you don't have it on you all you have to fear as a foreigner is losing the money anyway ...

unless, of course, it's in your luggage, or somebody have seen you hide something in the place, where the contraband was found.

most important thing is to keep your cool and have trust in your hiding place.
they don't have all the time in the world to search every single person, that comes across the border 100%.
and sometimes they just give up, when they don't find anything within 30 seconds (maybe a short pat down)
or after a look on your id and/or seeing your calm reaction (not like druggy calm; normal people's calm; don't overact)
to their presence.

but when they find you to be interesting and are going to search you, they will definitely first try to convince you,
that it is better for you to give them your stash voluntarily, because they will find it anyway and that it will
look good for the state attorney bla bla (with just a few grams, you will most likely just have to pay a few
hundred bucks at most, maybe more when you're rich, as a 'sicherheitsleistung' and be able to continue on
with your journey anyway).
that's total bs! in other words, just a bluff to make their work easier. they're lazy officials after all.
but some people actually fall for that.
you also have no legal obligation to tell them the truth about what exactly you did there, where you are coming from.
and also you don't have to help them with anything other than to find out who you are by giving them
your id or passport. but it never hurts to be polite and nice of course (again, don't overact).
when they do find anything on you, you won't get a harsher sentence,
just because you lied to them or didn't hand them out your stash voluntarily.
as well as you don't get a lighter sentence, in the case you told them the truth and pulled your stash
out of your hiding spot yourself.
some (stupid) people also try to give up a little bit of contraband, in the hope, the cops will be satisfied
then and won't search for/find the rest.
WRONG! they will search you even more thorough after that.

so never give up. never admit to anything. construct a plausible story beforehand and practice it in your mind,
so that you don't have the typical gap, a freshly made-up lie would cause, between their question and your answer.
best thing is to have plausible answers ready to every possible question, they might come up with.
and remember, the best lies are always based on truths... the kind of truths, in this case,
you could tell a customs officer whithout raising any more suspicion, than he already has.

and find a good place (location, location, location), where 'it' won't be easily found during a short pat down
and a jingle-jangle of your balls.
these guys loooove to touch another man's balls. i can tell you that.
you can try to pat down yourself after hiding the stuff, to see, if somebody could feel it or not.
as a rule of thumb, a package of big round nugs is easier to find and more difficult to hide,
than a flat bag of ground up herb.

and last but not least, always try to not be the most suspicious or promising guy for them around.
then they won't invest that much time in searching you. especially when they see something like a rastaman with hemp leafs on his cloth sitting a couple of rows behind you on the bus/train for example, or a mercedes/bmw/audi full of southern-looking 18- to 20-year-olds with license plates from 100km away, driving infront of you, when you travel by car....or tuned up compact cars by vw or opel with people wearing baseball caps (or a combination of those). look for these kind of people and stay near them to a degree or just be more relaxed knowing that you're not the one, who gets the customs' main attention.
btw, don't rent a car to cross the border or pay a taxi driver to drive you. that's almost a guaranteed stop.

another thing, don't be afraid when they come with dogs. dogs aren't that good (cops just like to bluff). they also don't search, when they didn't get the commando to search. so don't panic when the dog handler just walks by you with the dog. the actual sniffing work is very exhausting for the dogs. they have to take a long break after just ten or fifteen minutes. and the cops just have so many dogs at disposal.
so the cops tend to use them more often to just stir the smugglers up and cause typical reactions (typical for smugglers), sound things out or whatever you wanna call it, than to actually look directly for drugs.

Think that's quite stupid.Would never do that.It's like total gamble.Leaving it somewhere in bus seems to be less of the gamble.I don't think that they would go so far as taking fingerprints for like 10g of weed.

When it comes to handling them,i know the drill.Have been in numerous situations where i had to deal with cops for all kinds of crap,including weed.

When it comes to doggies,i think that not all of those dogs are sniffing dogs.As you say,it's also kind of psychological trick.And i guess they are not driving around those animals around autobahn all the time..

You have kindda reassured me that it should be all good.
Plan is to not have it on me,pack it airtight as much as possible and just shove it somewhere in the bus..

no. then they would have to take finger prints of all the passengers first. way too much work.
sometimes they don't even book small amounts.
they just throw it away after work or smoke it themselves (while you wonder, what takes the
prosecutor's office so long to send you the letter, which is supposed to inform you, that a criminal case was opened against you).
every case is a couple of hours of work for them. if they had bigger finds that day...lazy officials, you know....
they rather commit the crime of destroying evidence or obstruction of justice, than to write a report, open a case yadi yadi...
