Dixie Elixirs “Unfit for Human Consumption?”

21 November 2013 :

Tamara Wise, the former chief scientist at Medical Marijuana Inc and Dixie Elixirs, denounces the company and their products in her Nov. 20 facebook post. Wise wrote:

“I’m tired of so called CBD companies claiming that what they provide is medicine. Anyone using a CBD from hemp product please be aware of what you’re actually getting b/c it is not what you think. These formulations start with a crude and dirty hemp paste (contaminated with microbial life! I have seen this and these organisms decompose the paste. The paste perhaps even contains residual solvent and other toxins as the extraction is done in China ) made in a process that actually renders it unfit for human consumption.

What these companies are doing is criminal and dangerous. In fact MJNA’s RSHO is literally just this hemp paste diluted in hemp seed oil. No refinement at all!!! And what Dixie Botanicals is offering is beyond disturbing. I cannot keep quiet any more. And since I formulated most of these products as head of Dixie science, I feel responsible for spreading the truth. I left Dixie for ethical reasons but it is not enough to just walk away. These frauds need to be exposed for what they are. Look out for my tell all article coming soon and feel free to contact me directly with questions as it is time to blow the whistle. Let’s keep this industry pure and safe.” — Tamar Wise, formerly head of Dixie Science.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure it was a harder decision than many of us would care to admit!

It may b a dif company but I'd bet the same sketchy sludge wd c inside these too!
The moment I saw this add I knew the industry was in trouble!

What gets me, is that the RSHO (Real Scientific Hemp Oil) is used in Cibdex's products and their CBD gum ( which I have both purchased at the Green Festival is SF, CA) and other companies products (all associated under the Hemp, Inc banner of course)

So if what she is saying is true, then the CBD in the producst I bought is nothing but hemp sludge too.

I was wondering how they could get a true standardized dose of 100mg CBD, without using synthetic CBD.

This sux, and if true the HEMP INC, a publicly traded cannabis stock and company, needs to be outed.

did you find those cbd drops to be helpful?

obviously the placebo effect could have played a role, but id still be interested to hear your thoughts on the effectiveness of those "drops".

The drops did nothing at all. I tried them for about two weeks.

However, I don't really have any kind of chronic pain or other symptoms that CBD might relieve.

These products are marketed as a "health-suppliment", kinda like vitamin E.

If you would like a bottle (free) I will send you an un-opened one - just PM me your contact info. I'd like to hear your opinion.

I also have this stuff called Canna-Chew, made from the RHSO.
They use Stevia instead of sugar as a sweetener... I hate Stevia, tastes funny to me.

I was on the trials. It's worthless garbage in my opinion. If they would like to hear my testimony I'd be happy to give it.

Mr Paine I said the same exact thing to myself after this stuff did nothing, zero. Maybe my pain is different I said. Maybe my pain is too severe, but they "pitched" it as help for "chronic pain sufferes". I saved the written sales pitch.

The things these people have done, if all true HURT the cause for potentially millions of people. This is exactly the kind of crap that some states will be using to try denying the people access.
