Edro Jones and the Closet of Doom!

What's up IC? Its been almost an entire year since my last journey through the cannabis seeds so Im extremely excited to get Closet of Doom full of sugar coated buds!!! Don't really have a lot of room in the Closet of Doom but it's certainly better than nothing.

A little about my setup. Got a 400w hps/mh with adjustable ballast. The closet is small so Ill dial the ballast down to 250w to try to avoid any heat issues. Hopefully by flowering time the temps outside will be nice and cold so I can flower at 400w. My first run so we'll see. 400w bulb in cool hood with a 6 inch inline fan pulling heat out and filtering air into a can33 carbon filter. For addition air circulation I have 2 computer fans hanging on both sides of the closet. Nothing fancy here... Plan on stuffing 6 2 gal buckets in the closet to try to make the most efficient use of my space. It'll be a little over crowded but it is what it is. Plan on vegging under 250w of mh for 4-6wks or roughly until plants are 10-15in in height then once flowering has begun finish up with hps bulb.

I would also like to thank everyone here on IC for all the help and advice over the years! You guys have been a true inspiration! I got paranoid and wasn't going to do a diairy but after thinking about everyone who risked their asses so others like myself could learn about this most enriching hobby I felt compelled to continue to contribute to the cannabis community so I'm back to share my voyage!

The strains that will be gracing the first battle with The Closet of Doom will be...(drum roll)............ VGs Bubba Kush S1 and Sweet Seeds Sweet Aghani Delight a S1 of a 90s Black Dominia. Going to use the damp paper towel method and germ 3 of each strain. Hoping for 6 healthy ladies to grow out. Ill post some pics once they get above soil. Ill try not to flood this thread with too many boring veg shots. Those of you who wish to part in this action adventure get some popcorn, snacks, and get ready! LIGHTS, CAMERAS, ACTION!!!!!

And 30 hours later all 6 seeds had tails so I put them in 12oz plastic cups. Should have some seedlings to attend to in a couple of days.

As of an hour ago 2 out of 3 Bubbas are up and 1 of 3 SADs. Plan on running them on a 18/6 light schedule through veg. Ill throw some pics up next week when they have all come up. Enjoy your weekends everyone!!!

Its been about a week since these SAD sprouts broke ground and they appear happy and healthy! Nothing exciting going on yet but we'll get there!

As you can see besides besides the Bubba#1 in the first pic the other two plants have just stalled on me! Havent grown much and starting to yellow! Anybody with some suggestions on how to get em going Im open for ideas. Ill be disappointed if I have to ditch them but 4 plants is better than no plants. Im hoping they are just developing their roots then next week they just explode into health!

Maybe I should have named this thread something other than the closet of doom because apparently it has spelled doom for 2 out of three of my Bubba S1s! I don't know WTF happened! They just stalled the f@#k out! But with that being said and the fact that over the year since I grew ive been collecting seeds Im dusting myself off and moving onward! I germed 2 of Cheesehead's Nightmare Kush. S3s of The White basicly. I try not to do more than two different strains at a time so I don't get confused about what strain likes what but I do like diversity also so stay tuned......

R.I.P Bubbas!! Ill always think fondly of those mocha flavored indica buds which could have been. On a more positive note Bubba#1 is still hanging in there veggin dlowly. One Nightmare Kush up, still waiting on last one to pop. Just in case it doesn't work out with the last NK seed ( looking iffy)Im attempting to germ a Peoyte Purp seed. The SADs are veggin along without a care! Ill throw up some pics Friday with what I got going on.

Life's been busy. Had to go away for s little while and had a power outage. My fan didn't come back on and almost killed plants. I came home to find that I did loose SAD#2. I quickly rebuilt my old trusty cab that I normally grow in and moved all my severely heat stressed plants in there. I really didn't have sufficient fresh air in the closet and I didn't have the option of making holes so the closet of doom is no more. Now I present Edro Jones and the Cab of Flower Power.

First pic is the cab that the plants are recovering in. Second pic is a group shot taken yesterday. Third pic is SAD#1 recovering from almost being cooked. Fourth I'd SAD#3 and lastly Bubba#1 taking it's own sweet time. Losing a week or two for them to recover because they're stunted but im not in a hurry. (Thank God). Ill update in a couple of weeks. My 2 SADs are still looking on the runty side. I sure hope they snap out it and take off soon. The roots are growing very slowly. SAD#3 is growing more nodes but won't get any bigger. Looks like mini bonzsai plants. SAD#1 has better root growth and has gained a little size but it's runty too. Just in case they don't make it I'm germing 2 Blue Sat 2.2 and 2 Med Man's OG x Skunk. Got room for 9 ladies so might as well make the most of my space. On another note the Bubba is coming along. Ill post up some pictures this upcoming weekend. Happy growing IC!

Everything is finally back on track and all the plants are happy and healthy. SAD#1 is in the first pic, Peoyte Purp in second pic showing a weird leaf structure, SAD#3 in third pic followed by a beautiful Bubba Kush.

First 2 pic are my 2 Med Man OG x TD (Skunk) freebies. Third pic is of the whole garden. Both Blue Sats came up but one didn't make it. The one that did is a short,ugly, little thing. Nightmare Kush in the forth pic is the only one that has a odor of sharp dank! Both Lemon Kushes are pictuired in the last shot. I won't flood everybody with anymore veg shots, we all know what a vegging plants look like. I will be in touch once the first signs of flowering begins. Stay safe and happy growing! !

What's up IC! Just a update on what's happening in the cab of flower power. Currently on day six of flower. I have a total of 8 young ladies in the cab. 2 SADs, 2 Lemon Kushes, 1 Peoyte Purp, 1 Nightmare Kush, 1 Bubba Kush, and 1 Tahoe OG x Skunk. My goal was nine but the Blue Sat 2.2s didn't make it. 1 never popped and the other one was a tiny mutant that didn't show any vigor. Culled the one OG x Skunk male yesterday. Pics to follow!
