ok so I was thinking maybe we should have a place in the forum.. for people to show.. the shitty bud they have bought .. or if they have had plants mold. or buds with mold.. or PM or anything

POST UR MOLDY BUDS here.. so we can get people educated on how it looks.. to the eye. and if anyone can take macros and close ups that would be great..

thanks man.. appreciate this.. because honestly.. I saw some bud yesterday.. that was coming from cali.. I can get it for 700 a lb and its not bad for the price.. deff could sell it for 200 a zip if wanted to be grimey. but when I was looking threw it.. I could SMELL the mold..

so I passed... honestly. I knew something was up .. when he said.. I got outs for 700 a lb.. and ill front u as much as u want at a time.. haha. then hes like just tell me a number. ill run it over now.. lol. I was like umm . ya id like to smoke some first.. and shit.. and I look in the bag.. and take a whiff and boom. smack in the face.. this musty grassy smell with a hint of skunky.. lol. told him im allset.. and that im sorry he got fucked on a bunch of weed but I couldn't take part in getting rid of moldy shit .....

he said it smells like shit.. but it smokes fine.. and the mold was cut out I made sure..

i didn't have the time to sit him down n tell him all the issues with wat he was doing.. but hey.. i gave all my friends the heads up..

o COMEON GUYS this is one thing we should be on top of.. gotta weed out the shitty growers.. that actually provide MOLDY PRODUCTS TO PATIENTS!!!

well i don't have any moldy weed and i just threw out a jar of g13 my friend grew that got all moldy at the end. but if i run across some more mold i got this on tag and i'll post some pics.

we don't need just pics.. I was lookin for advice to get rid of . or prevent.. or even a way to find out what kind of mold.. or pm.. or whatever ur dealing with ,, atleast find out what the hell it was lol..

and or.. what the health risks our from moldy buds or hash.. and does hashoil allow a proper salvage that will test clean?

Winterizing is pretty much the only way to safely deal with moldy buds imo. I winterized the oil I made from the bud pictured above and it turned out fantastic. I used a .2 micron syringe filter to get the spores out. I smoked it exclusively for a week before I gave it to my friend as I wasn't sure it was going to be safe, but it never gave me any bad reaction and it was fantastic. Just have to be sure what kind of mold you are dealing with.

im just sayin.. it doesn't need to be just all pics man. it can be about anything to prevent or stop or even safely extract hash from moldy material .whatever anyone wants to post.. about MOLD

theres an epidemic of nasty moldy weed and hash going around.. and getting people who are sick.. sicker..

just trying to help get everyone educated.. and figured if u start with the growers .. u can nip it in the BUD. before it makes it to the STREET

That seriously sucks I have been using the Hydrogen Peroxide food grade to deal with any mould I might run into seems to work well so far. stay frosty headband 707
