My TW XPD clones all do the purple stem trip as well, once they get sorted with decent roots and start feeding properly they stop with the purple and go normal coloured green.
I've been looking at the fat tire bikes down here :yoinks: Damn prices are fricking ridonkulous :yoinks: If I put my 2.2 dirt tires back on I can ride all over the beach pretty much no worries, I can only imagine what it would be like with those phat tires :D

Wow, ya learn something new every day. Im gonna have to try that. Thanks!

Yeah PF, you prolly never seen gg main stems turn purple cause yours stay super healthy. Im not sure exactly what causes it, it has something to do with nutrient uptake i think.
And the only reason i think its important is because there are some strains that really do have purple main stems. Some of DJ Shorts strains for example. But other than a few genetic exceptions, purple stems are a bad sign for sure.
GG4 definitely does have purple petioles/leaf stems, even when healthy.

Im not sure what i did to make her mad, but i think shes starting to pull out of. I uppotted it a few days ago.
Both of these are GG4.

:bigeye: well,i have given up on any notion of having some reasonable number of bikes....i mean 3 bikes would be a lot if i didnt ride every single day basically and had a car, then 3 bikes is getting gauche...:noway:
ok,ok,if you're really into it then maybe its not too much, and yes,i am still getting the pugsly...and now since ive gone insane,i mind as well look at a fixie too:yoinks:

the new ride is all cleaned up,it was pretty crusty, were talking brushes and little fiddly brushes and lots of citrus cleaner and digging stuff out with picks and pulling 100 goathead thorns from the tires and getting them dealt with and really scrubbing the crap out of the chain and lubing it link by link and carefully wiping it down then the soapy water and clean towel wipe down, adjusted the front derailleur and i am in action!

Im still saying You need a Pupp Unc. A nice blue Nose Pitt female would broaden Your horizons. Those dogs are very Human like, with a very appealing type of friendship affection. They also love plants. They can be small and light weight.
My Blue nose female is small. I could easily carry her on a trailer. She can pull a bike hard and fast, but only for about a mile tops, and probably a half mile is more reasonable. Id take Her on a ride just for companionship.

The red nose male can pull a bike for over a mile at full speed now. I think it is about 17 - 18 MPH , constant. But he is heavy. Wonderful loving affectionate demeaner. And He can talk. He says "hello", and "How are You", at his discression. In other words, You cant get him to say anything. He talks when He wants to. (Every morning at 420) He also one time called out to me in the morning, ever so clearly.... He called out "Dad?" I had goose pimples all over. He wouldnt say it again at my prompt. He has never said it since.

I think I saw a fixie on craigs list local, when I was looking for a Pugsley. Isnt that the one with Blue Rims? I think Some has one around here about half price. It looked real pretty too, but that wasnt a fat tire so I moved on. It did catch my attention. I already have 5 bikes, seven if You count Motorcycles. But I dont have a fat tire...... Yet.

I don't know why the purple pappy. I got mine in purple mode as well.

View Image

Although I'm not trying to have mine grow at the moment so all is well. I'm sure if I moved them out to the veg room they would take off and green up thus they stay in the closet for now.

Yeah, the one of mine thats purple is in the closet too. Im sure when you put it into action, it will fade right away. The only reason i really even brought it up is cause i tried to bend both of those gg's the other day. The green one bent like a vine and the purple one snapped instantly.

nice reveg

pappy whats unhappy about it, other than it purple?

You cant tell from the pics but trust me, it looks shitty. Its not just the deep purple, brittle stems. The leaves have completely lost their healthy shine, and now look super matte, pale and faded. Also the tips are getting slight burn, and the serrations on some leaves are getting brown spots on them.
If you could look at both plants in real life, its easy to tell.
There is no other way to really say it, one is happy, one is not.
The "healthy" one's leaves are super healthy dark green and shiney, the plant is just glowing.

Unc, your saying half your gg plant's main stems are straight purple, and half are green, and they all look equally healthy? Nothing other than stem color is different?
Cause that is weird.
I would think: Same health, same environment, same clone, same look.

Third, how do you know you got thrips? i saw some shiney shit on a leaf the other day. So im kinda worried.

they always have racing stripes if thats what you mean...

pappy that sort of thing is probably because of some room condition issue like that plant sitting in front of the fan for too long or being right under the bulbs hot spot or the leaves got shaded by other leaves and a humid micro climate developed....something of that nature, its not the plant or your nutes its some not as good spot in your rooms that causes that and 9/10 thats because of some ventilation issue...figuring that stuff out is part of the art of growrooms....theres no easy science to say do this in room size x because every space is different...every grow room performs up to the limit of its weakest element....almost every single room i have ever seen where some problem was occurring it was due to poor ventilation or humidity management....that is when it was clear it wasnt pilot error, but the 2 things go hand in hand...

Well I know in the closet where my glue are there is no air movement, no fresh air so I'm sure that is to blame.

pappy are far as the thrips go, just the nature of things. Getting cold outside nice toasty barn, even though I sealed it up tight as hell ya just can't cover ever crack and crevice. I had saw two in veg a week or two ago so I knew they were probably in the flower as well cause I leave the door between them open when I'm working. They're not bad at all but I want to keep it that way so, bombs away.

JW, I think it may be out of water in which case probably not doing too well. Just to be clear, do you have the bottom of the RR's actually sitting in the water? I've always found that keeps them too moist for rooting which is why I like to sit the bottoms on a wicking mat.

Edit: Damn it!!! Just went back out to the barn and realized(after much searching)that I had turned on a pump earlier to get some extra flush on my LOK's that are coming down this week.

Well 35 gallons later...Good thing Boost is cheap lol. On the bright side the coco should be really flushed.

Dont remember if I told You guys I was running indoors. I am. This tent is a 5 x 5 with 12 gorillas and 4 OGMangos. The other tent (Veg) is full of big healthy plants too. They are under a 432 T5.
