Attn. Green Cure Enthusiasts...

After learning about it here, I ordered Green Cure this week. Could you advise me?

I am bringing 9 large plants home to roost here in north central Mn. Temps in the accuweather forecast show no frost for the next 15 days. It will be average for rainfall.

Strains include GG, NL (sativa pheno) Early Queen, Maple Leaf Indica, Hashberry, and MP5K.

Should I hit them once this week, wait, hit them twice? I assume the one tablespoon per gallon prevention mode will suffice.

I hope it works, it sure sounds good, and organic. Thanks in advance.

Not long Saibai! Hey buddy

Hi Former oger, I use GC this way

If Im growing a strain that does n't mould much, I don't use anything,(unless necessary)

If Im growing a strain that moulds if conditions turn bad, I usually just watch and apply if i think i see anything

If im growing a branch breaker with heavy dense buds, Ill usually spray a dilluted solution at about 4 weeks and just before the nodes get closed over by flower development. This is to prevent interior moiuld which is often found when a huge bud is busted open.

Bottom line, I use it as little as necessary, only when necessary and the smallest amount necessary. I follow that with pesticides as well

Start with 1/2 tablespoon of GC. YOu can raise the amount if the situation turns serious, but over about 1 tablespoon, white hairs become discolored, although the plant is still fine and growing. If you actually see mould, hit it immediately and it will slough off.

Honestly Former oger, if youre bringing them in and out, they may not need anything at all. I certainly wouldn't apply it unless there was reason.

Good luck. Keep us posted

Ooh. Zach, if I were you I would mix a tablespoon in a 1/2 gallon of water and then place a portion of the mixture in a small spray bottle of any kind as long as it has a solid stream option. I use a windex bottle. Take it immediately to the plant and squirt the spot(s) that have active mould and kill that asap. It may darken the hairs on that spot, but it will killl the mould and slough off the dead.

Have you had rain since your initial application? I would mix another solution of 1/2 tbls. per gallon and retreat the whole plant. 1/2 per gallon doesnt discolor hairs.

In general, watch the plant, adjust the greencure dosage accordingly. You can spray a branch for testing.

Damn, what strain you growin zachrock? Ive had below avg temps, in the upper 70's and cloudy. Heavy dew until 11:00. I havent seen any mould yet. Powdery Mildew everywhere though. Ive had to treat for that.

Earth Juice PH down

Earth Juice PH down

I have some EJ Ph. up.
It is potassium bicarb.
I will mix with a bit of Jet-dry as a surfactant.(J-D works great in neem oil, too)
If you read the Greencure page it seems all he's done is add a surfactant of some sort.
I'll report on how it goes.

Hi Silverback,

Good imformation!

I had to import a tub of GC as no UK or EU suppliers stock it! Anyway my question is what would you recommend to use per 1 Litre of water as the guide on the tub is for US gallons which is different to Imperial UK Gallons so I'm lost on how much to use in my 1 litre spray bottle.

Any ideas as I don't wont to lose any of my Maroc's to rot like I did last year .. :nono:

TIA!

hmmm... well, E51, use 1/2 tablespoon per US gallon to start with. The white hairs on some strains are sensitive to it and sometimes higher doses can turn the hairs brown, although the plant is not harmed. Start with 1/2 and play with it. I use different doses, up to 1 tablespoon per gallon for different situations. I sprayed this Himalayan Gold clone today because the little thing is eaten up with Powdery Mildew. 1/2 tbs will knock that out lickity split. If I were growing big bud in england, I might have to jack up the dose a bit. Too what? Who knows, like I say, adjust its usage to meet your needs.

This clone just got a squirt. The PM will be gone tommorow

If you catch any bud rot, cut out and burn the edges with a pen torch style lighter...then get the plant down asap.
