Blackberry meltdown....

Since ^that kinda shit started happening (and the news said proper [3+ days worth] rain was on the horizon, we decided to level the property before things got any worse.
Funny thing is, no one told the rain that it wasn't supposed to start till the next day. So as we were leveling the place, it started pouring BUCKETS, K+ for my workers that didn't hesitate or even look for hats/jackets they just booked it outside and hastily dropped everything in the pouring rain!

Rain, rain go awa...... fuck you!

That pile in the back has gotten much bigger since, was 5 dump trucks worth of Royal Gold, and a 6th of fresh under the blue tarp.

Puttn in work bro !! Props

quick question for ya , how many lights is too many lights for 1 man to run indoors .. 10k , 20k, 30k ? somewhere in-between ? (excluding harvesting)

Just curious as what point do yields and quality start to suffer noticeably due to the indoor grow getting to large for 1 person to stay in charge of

Thank you senor!

That's a loaded question that can start a flame war in the wrong place!

I did 6k fantastically by myself for quite a long time, moved to a different place and did 9600k for a year or so, things suffered a bit in the end. But my life also wasn't in the right place during that time. Moved to a different place and downsized to 4800k, things were fine for a while, but suffered in the end as I started loosing ?interest? Weird, right?

In the end, it all depends on how efficient you design/build/undertake your operation, and how hard you can/like to work; don't lie to yourself, it will only hurt you in the end!

6 car [purpose built] garage. The house is just a "Triple wide" but it measures out to be like 3600ft^2!!

29 lights fits COMFY into 4 cars worth of garage...

It does get old some days... >.< But hey, I have choosen this as my profession, cant wait till it becomes a "white market" industry, to see where I'm going to fit into things!

The rain sucked..... period.

There isn't really a way to quantify that it makes any difference, I'm sure the flow must be better because there isn't any material in the way to cause any turbulence, but in my mind, the lack of somewhere for atmospheric contaminants [dust, that possibly contains fungal spores] to accumulate is the biggest gain.

The only things that sucks is the WOAH! you get when you back up to far or stand up into one without paying attention, they don't hurt a bit unless you interface with it to the point where it comes to a stop. But they sure are an unexpected surprise!

Thanks for sticking around with us LyryC! keeping me all motivated to post!

What are some solutions to the rain issue you can apply this coming year? Possibly a MASSIVE hoop house "roof" to cover the hill - telescoping type supports so It could raise up for good weather/airflow and down to ensure proper rain protection?

Or you could just expand on that pallet idea and instead make one massive green house and the space underneath could become a variety of useful things. Then you could have 3 different gardens - indoor - gh - outdoor. all different bullshit to deal with but it would let you grow outside over the winter also - and if not canna - maybe your food.

Some ideas I speculated.

Thanks man - your grows are awesome - nice nugs - wet or not - you make alot of wax? :D lol

Check this bullshit out 2... DEA to Create Pot Concentrate Code

Greetings from 707! :tiphat:

Very nice scene(s) you have going on. k+++

I am just a little south of you, and probably just as close to the water, if not closer. I hear you about the bad year this year. We were steaming from dew every single day this year. It was so hot inland that it drew that marine layer right over us all season long. Then the rain just finished it off. It's so sad watching entire pineapple plants melt (no exaggeration). This is probably the toughest year I've had outside, in over a decade.

This thread is an inspiration. Can't wait to see more of the innies cranking. Big Ups!

Well the idea is to focus on light-dep next season, control the photo-period and bring things in before the moisture. That hillside sure is a shame to waste though. Not yet sure if we want to possibly terrace the hillside with raised beds and put hoops over them for tarps, or possibly just focus on early finishers in the open sun and cross our fingers for less rain this time.

Nope, no wax here. Not only do I utterly abhor the pretentiousness associated with "dabs" and all the associated bullshit (seriously....., Trimscene sells custom painted crack torches, pandering to the "baller" type of clientele that is their typical customer.....gag) its also quite an "enhancement," especially given this new scheduling that you conveniently provided a link to!

Had a worker melt my face this last time, I pack up a big happy bowl of my Primo OG headstash and offer it around, she very politely, but very seriously says: "No thanks, I don't smoke flowers anymore." MINDBLOWN

Once recreational use is legalized I'm sure I will soften my tone, but as things stand, I feels its very disingenuous to hide behind this "medical" marijuana shield, then "medicate" with "shatter" until you cant carry on a conversation.. It's fucking ludicrous.

I'll be back on that wax topic later - too fried to even form a thought on it :D
