My twin brother did that. Sorry guys. Back to the topic of defoliation. Do you guys think it causes a greater yield due to greater light penetration of the canopy or...

I've run the non-Matrix 1kw, and the one I had is now with a friend still being run, couple years no issues. It's been used on a variety of bulbs, full-wattage and under-wattage (like running a 1kw bulb at 600w).

I had my hands on a Solis-Tek 600w 4k MH bulb recently, too, and I have to say it appears to be a well-built bulb, feels as well built as a Ushio, beefier than Hortilux.

If I get the ballast, I sure want one of their bulbs.
I like the idea of using bulbs and ballasts tuned to one another.
Nice to know they're good quality.
