Northern Lights*BubbleGum*Cfl's*T5's

Hey all...a couple peeps requested I show what I'm growing so here we go...

I started a handful of seeds and got 4 Northern Lights and 3 BubbleGum. I then decided I wanted a few more so started a handful more seeds. So I also have a few sprouts that are younger here.

In total I have 6 x Northern Lights and 5 x BubbleGum

You will also see a Spgbx lady in the shot that I am attempting to re-veg. Just for fun.

There's a little yellowing/damage on the leaves...don't be alarmed. I have fixed the problem. My temps were quite low. I have some heat pumping now and they are greening up nicely...

I am going to keep them under 24 light for about 4 more weeks and then flip them after they are sexed...

so far off to a great start only advice I would suggest, 18 hours instead of 24 hours of direct light for vegative, saves money on electric while it builds a bigger root structure giving the plant a time for resting, the bigger the root, the bigger the fruits.

wow, you're really into it, sister! :yay:
love the look of your shed :)

personally i never bother to do 18/6 or other schedules. plants are happy with 24/0 and if it works, why complicate things? ;)

happy growing, princess

Looking good GP. I wish I had the room for a grow like yours, but I'll have to make do with my little micro cab for now.

I also use 24/0 for veg most of the time, but for now I am using 36/12. I know it sounds crazy but it actually works. I've been using it for 3 weeks now with no sign of flower or stretch. I'm only doing this because My flower and veg cycles got all screwed up and I over grew my veg area and have a lot of extra room in my flower cab.

Good luck with this round. I know it will be easier than the last one was.

Happy New Year and a big update...

Happy New Year and a big update...

Hey all,

I seriously neglected this thread. Sorry! But a quick recap and then lots of photos to catch up.

So we have been in vegetation 8 weeks and flipped about 4 days ago...so now in week one of flower. Along the way I committed some more newbie offenses....

Like, I broke the top off a plant, grew it out though and both halves are female so that worked out. I also think I burned the shit out of them while they were in the small pots by over feeding nutrients while they grew in miracle gro. That was fun. They lost fan leaves right and left throughout this time. I repotted into done nice organic soil and now they have greened up nicely.

The Spgbx #4 that is revegging so far is a champion. She went through some crazy curly mutations which you'll see but then started coming back, and fast. Throwing up pistols like she just couldnt wait to get going again.

She is now in the flip with the rest. So here is where we stand.

Bg#1 female...nice medium sized plant with great structure
Bg#2 female...nice! Medium sized. Fave female as far ad structure, besides the Spgbx lady
Bg#3 Female
Bg#4 male...dead. got two clones though to poss. use later, was a nice plant.
Bg#5 female....tall and spindly

Nl#1 female...nice
Nl#2 unknown but prob male... Soon to die
Nl#3 unknown but prob male...Soon to die
Nl#4 unknown but prob male...Soon to die
Nl#5 female...which means
Nl#6 (top/clone of #5) female
Nl#7 female...tall and spindly but beautiful plant

And then of course Spgbx#4 is a girl.

So, not bad. I had 5 bubble gum and 6 northern lights growing from seed and have 8 out of 11 seeds sexing as female.

So, a total of 9 ladies here. I am pretty stoked.

Oh, and I have 14 clones I took just before the flip, they are less than a week old and sitting in a tray in the veg tent.

3 clones each from Bg#5 , Nl#1, Nl#7, and Spgbx#4, so 12 female
2 clones from that nice bubble gum male

Not sure what's happening with them yet. Hopefully they live so I can decide.

Okay. On with the photos!

Male Bg and Female Nl

Male Bg and Female Nl

For those learning...wanted to post these. Not great shots but anything helped when I was trying to learn....

Male

Female

Okay...next 10 shots

Front row is Northern Lights
Back row is Bubble Gum
Back row far right and the bushy lady in the individual shots is Spgbx #4

For those keeping up, the Spgbx lady was vegged a total of 6 weeks of which 2 of those weeks were spent in a tent under poor light with a male Spgbx , then flowered 11 weeks, harvested for seeds, revegged bout 6 weeks and now flipped. She gets around.

The tall spindly one you see pictured alone in the last shots are the Nl#7 female.

Yay! Photos from today! Week One Flower

Yay! Photos from today! Week One Flower

Alrighty. Here are some shots I took tonight. If there is an interest, I will take individual shots next time I water....

Group shot

Bubblegum #2 love her

Spgbx #4

Bottom of Northern Lights #5, the one I broke. It's hard to see but I broke her way down low. You can see how her two tops started branching very low.

Northern Lights #6 (top/clone of #5)

Look at this shorty.

Alright, well I'm going to try for weekly updates from here.

I should also say, all plants were topped, except for the Spgbx and of course the situation with nl#5 & 6.

Peace!

Thanks TD. Thanks. Yeah, it's a nice space. Still figuring it out and changing things around. But hey, look! My canopy is nice and even.

Week 2 Flower Northern lights

Week 2 Flower Northern lights

Here is a group shot how they sit under the lights. The stretch is definitely on. I vegged this group for 8 weeks and it shows. These are big ladies. Definitely some short and tall phenos.

And here is nl #1

Here is nl#7

Here are nl #5 & #6. Remember they are top and bottom.

Last of the nl crew. #2, 3 & 4. They are indeed 3 males. I had banished them to my closet this week lest they attack some poor unsuspecting female. Couldn't bear to kill them and was still mulling over the possibilities.

week 2 flower spgbx#4 2nd flip!

week 2 flower spgbx#4 2nd flip!

And here we have our Spgbx #4. A refined lady. The first photos show the pot she has been in since I chopped her roots in half and put her into a 6 week reveg. The last shot shows her in the slightly larger and same size as the rest pot. She needed the extra space. I should mention I also added a couple inches of soil as top soil to most of these pots this watering. Done had sank since they were potted up and I wanted to really cover and nourish the roots with fresh soil. I am going very light on nutrients at this point. 1/4 teaspoon veg nutes and a half teaspoon bloom nutes per gallon of water. I do not ph my water.

week 2 flower bubblegum

Here is bubble gum #1

The favorite bubble gum #2

Bubblegum #3

Bubblegum #5

And one last shot of the whole line up of 9 females.

Week 3 Flower

Week 3 Flower

Okay so here are week 3 flower shots.

1st up a group shot.

Then a mini group shot. This little group of 4 is residing in their own separate rent and is comprised of 3 boys and 1 girl.

The three boys are nl #2, 3 and 4.

The female is my most favorite bubble gum girl. I'd have liked to flower her out but elected instead to throw her in with these brutes for a couple of weeks. I know this isn't a very scientific method of getting seeds but guess what?

It's just for me. Seeds so I can keep trying to grow good personal stash

Here are some shots...
