Has anyone tended to the Colorado Flo cut out doors in California before?

I love the look of this cut and some friends have it...I want to run some new stuff and I'm thinking about a few of these...

GDP

GDP

Theres a regret I have. Ill fix it some day though.

I regret not doing crosses with the original GDP cut I was running some years back. We had a big fight over here because my son thought I would fuck the whole crop if I pollenated one branch.

This stuff was too strong, and way too heavy. Heavier then GG4.

Thats the Original cut.

Un tainted.

Not from seed.

My Buddy in Honeydew still holds her.
Lemongrape flavor, strong as fuk. I mean crazy strong. and wonderful nights sleep after a fat bong load.

I have had this cut, and will work with it in the future. It will make some fine crosses to say the least

Dr. Purpur - they ever called that cut Ken Father? (as opposed to GDP) - but again, I'm talking before GDP ever even stood for grandaddy purp...before that name / moniker ever existed on a plant...there was a "GDP"...

I keep telling folks Ken's GDP clone...is NOT the original...so when you say original, I'm trying to grasp what you mean. And not because I'm looking to be right about something, but because the topic itself highly interests me, in the generic sense. I'm a bad strain history junkie...really am. Not sure why, but I love timelines...

Check out my sticky in the top of my sub-forum. I'm not trying to cause controversy and detract from this thread...it's just that bud looks fire...and well...read the thread. ;)

Regardless, that nugget looks straight up fire. :respect:

The Old Cut

The Old Cut

This one is from the old cut years ago. Its old as hell and strong as, too. Too strong for me. I didnt like the high. I couldnt smoke for pleasure without getting too wasted.Narcotic as hell. It does have a great lemon Grape flavor, but is too strong for me.

Sounds right to me. As much as being on a ladder sucks, it does help if you can go that tall, or taller even...seen some slick barn setups.

IMO 5 days is perfect. 7 is the longest acceptable. 10 is too long. imho of course

***********************************************
So many environmental aspects to consider....you dudes know it varies in different locales, setups, and weather situations, right?

Drying times
= strain/variety denseness + pre-defoliation or not + air temps + humdity + building/facility + air movement + stacking/mounting for drying

Here in Arizona, during October and early November, there is usually very little rainfall. Drying in the shade outside is approximately 2-3 days max in the low desert. Drying times, in a barn, shed, or house room, are also fast because of the dryness and lingering heat (80's to 90's). 3-5 days are maximum and then long cure in a cool place in glass bottles, or plastic containers if you have big loads like you timbermen, for 2-3 months.

GG WallFlower

GG WallFlower

This is some GG WallFlower. I stick it to the wall before buddies come over, and let them pick it off to pack a bowl. It seems to always get big smiles, and send a message.
