:tiphat:Holla IC. So I've gone medical and knocked up a batch of Rick Simpson medical oil, Pretty much used his method just instead of soaking for 3 min's + I did Qwiso style 30 second runs. The material was run twice then filtered. Double boiled to evap the alcohol off. I yielded x1 and a half 2.ml syringes full of oil.
I tested it on myself last night and after a couple of dabs (from the same material) and it knocked me straight out, tasted nice too(like really good hash, tastes like it too, super bitter hasheyness:)) great nights sleep. I have just tried some more without and dabs to see the effects on a straight head.
The patient has a tumour and we hope this will help. He had his first dose earlier and is currently asleep..
We'll see what he reports back.
Anyone else got any stories to tell? hints ,tip's, dosage etc.
Pm me if you don't want to put it out there.
:ying:mack.

The higher the CBD content... the more they'll be able to take at once.

Harlequin has 8% CBD and only 6% THC and is all over Colorado... no high or stone which means it leaves you able to function... even after ingesting huge amounts.

Keep us posted and...

Boat loads of similar stories to tell, but they all say the same thing.

Cannabis concentrate works for pain relief, promotes sleep, and results in a number of cures, where nothing else works.

Besides general pain relief, I've had patients report that it gave them the first time relief from phantom limb and spina bifida pain.

I've watched it turn a late stage Alzheimer's patients from frightened and belligerent, to hugging and kissing and extend their life from the 60 day prognosis to 4.5 years.

I watched it turn a final stage, raccoon eyed Hep C patient, sent to put their affairs in order, into a normally function human being, with normal liver test results after two years.

I watched a patient riddled with cancer in his organs, do a complete reversal and all tumors just disappear, a ALS patient go into remission, skin cancers fall off, etc.

The scientific community has now finally started embracing the health benefits of the phytocannabinoids, and it is no longer in question.

Where do we stop adding success stories? Even the US government, who denies any health benefits, has quite literally patented its benefits.

If you are going to extract oral meds and take it in the gram a day quantities that are called for, it is even more important that you fully purge the ISO.

If you have access to 190 proof ethanol, it would be a safer choice and what we have used instead of Hexane or butane, at the patients request.

There is also evidence that it is the CBD, working at the immune systems CB-2 receptors, that are responsible for much of the healing, vis a vis THC at the brains CB-1 receptors.

Well it worked wonders on my pain and was amazing at how it was helping my brain... sooo looking forward to doing a simpson run of it, just to see what can be perma fixed in my head.

You know? It's been over a month since I used Harlequin for 7 days and then 10 days... and I can still remember 4-5 things I need at the store without a list. Before harlequin I had problems with 2-3...

:woohoo:

Thanks for the replys. I will try and get some grain ethanol for the next batch.
The patient has no previous cannabis use, so dosing has been a challenge, first dose was clearly to much, but was only a small amount, Lets see how quick we can get him to a gram a day?

Building tolerance is the challenge often times, so we try to at least start new patients on a high CBD strain. If they get discouraged right off the bat, they may not want to follow through will the full regiment.

What we find, is that with high CBD strains, the patients remain functional at higher doses, and when building tolerance, they mostly just sleep. I've often wondered what the health effects of just catching up on your sleep is, because many of these folks haven't been able to for a while.

Question: If a person took BHO and diluted it in warm ethanol, maybe filtered the diluted solution, then double boiled the result, would the dilution and double boiling help purge the final product?

It would help purge the butane, but adds the task of purging the alcohol. Might as well freeze and filter it to remove the waxes, while you have it in an alcohol solution.

Patented the benefits of CBD? Does that mean we will have to pay somebody royalties for use of cbd....???

My guess is that it means that someone is conniving in the background and planning to try.

So after meeting some interesting peeps at the HTCC I came back with some CBD fudge and saw the first cannabis patches, all different ratio's.(3 to one cbd to thc, 1 to 1 etc)
River rock and some Canadians are doing some great work.
We are know dosing the patient with x1 CBD fugde dipped in the ISO. We are slowly buiding to 3x a day+,
We hope he will cope better with the extra CBD?
Mack.

Hey Moppel!
Good to see you, I hope this finds you well!! :)

I remember reading somewhere that CBD can calm an over active immune system, which you’d think could potentially really help a person with Lupus…At the very least, it would help alleviate some of the symptoms. :dunno:

…Of course, I’m no doctor, but I am extremely biased! :canabis:

I did a quick google to refresh my memory, and skimmed a couple articles; here are a couple quotes and links to articles suggesting cannabis can help…
"CBD also stimulates the release of 2-AG, another endocannabinoid that activates both CB1 and CB2 receptors – CB2 receptors are predominant in the peripheral nervous system and the immune system.” http://www.projectcbd.org/home-2/cbd-how-it-works/
"CBD reduces function in the immune system. If you suffer with an autoimmune disorder calming your overactive immune system down is vital for your continuing health. When my immune system is overactive I have all sorts of funky things happen to me: migraines, body pain, numb fingers and toes, and so on. Having a medicine that can help me regulate immune function is more valuable to me than the words can find.” http://twicebakedinwashington.com/2013/09/14/10-ways-cbd-in-cannabis-can-improve-your-health/
"Cannabis is considered an ideal medication to help Lupus patients cope with the symptoms of the disorder like nausea and pain. It’s also known to be an anti-inflammatory, suppressing certain parts of the immune system……By lowering the levels of the inflammation-promoting protein interleukin-2, and raising levels of the anti-inflammatory protein interleukin-10, cannabis shows that it may be beneficial for treating autoimmune disorders where inflammation is the main complication.” http://www.medicaljane.com/2013/01/07/lupus-and-medical-marijuana/

I hope some of this helps, at least a little. Good luck!!

Please take good care of yourself Moppel!!

Ughh, I noticed that. I’m gonna hope it was an accident, someone meaning to press “yes” and accidentally clicked “no”.
I’ve made the mistake once or twice. :shucks:

It’s the only reason I can think of… :dunno:
