I do need ot redo the ducting and shit - but flat out brother - These bulbs are running hotter than the Apollo - maybe because their new and actually good haha But after the Thermoflo elbows/ducting is up with its proper positioning with straight tubes and all - im sure things will shape up. Also got a new Filter and Fan

My closet is part of my bedroom and the Window A/C cools the lot. I need to upgrade to a portable A/C for more cooling - convenience and cause I need a new A/C.

Theres no "upgrading" to a portable bro. Thats like someone who wears skinny jeans saying they are straight... Its just not happening bro.
Those portables are absolute shit bro. They spew heat back into the room and leak smell out. They are the anti growroom shit even the hydro stores will tell you not to buy. If your hydro store will sell you one of those things they are not your friends bro. I recommend you shop elsewhere.

You might have to put that plant in a bigger pot to reveg, give the roots a bit more room. Just make sure you leave the bottom most part of the plant with leaves and you can chop the rest as you normally do. Id leave any tiny, wispy budlets behind too. (Some people have successfully cloned from buds.) Maybe give it a flush with 1/2 strength veg nutes.

Woah dude... its upgrading. A 5200 btu window shit box - to a 12000btu haier is a without a doubt an upgrade.

And they work perfectly. I am not an idiot who has to worry about smells - leaks - novice - unprofessional problems. I have to worry about good things like where can i get more space. I have a carbon filter in my bedroom running when im not home. My year old carbon filter in the room is scrubbing like a boss - no smell.

I'm not putting up a mini split man. Not for this little rinky dink.

If it don't suit the need - Home depot will take it back

Better make sure they will take it back a year after you bought it. A lot of the reviews have those breaking down in just about a year.

My buddy tried using a portable to cool his kitchen and the only cool spot was right in front of it. If youre going to use 1, get good insulated ducting for it. His wasn't insulated and most of the heat radiated through the ducting back into the kitchen air. Id even consider an added layer of insulation around the ducting.

Its actually the compressor that radiates most of the heat since its sitting right in the room. Plus they usually suck out as much stinky cool air as they blow out

My fridgidair had a lever to close the air exchange if you wanted. I did a little DIY seal job on it to make it better... But you are right... The only way to do it right for under $5K is a split

ohhhh thats a sick feature - fucker.

I found a mini split for under 1k at homedepot but I honestly dont' have room in my closet - its only 5x5x8... I think even the 9k btu ductless is overkill to the max - to the point that It would probably cost me more because the compressor would probably be going off every few minutes when it turns on after the unit cooling the tiny room down within a minute and then heating up very quickly after.

Idk just a thought but thru this little A/C convo I did realize I ultimately will have ot get a larger window banger - It saves space... the whole A/C is practically outside - so that reason alone will significantly influence the A/C upgrade.

Im going to upgrade to atleast a 1 ton A/C so that I can get another flowering tent up soon after.

Would you know when the best time of year is to buy an A/C?

Seen that and it don't help but confirm that I have Jack Herer - I got some pretty weird genetics here - I see senescense has begun on Jackie so good sign is she might be a 13/14 weeker or maybe more

Heres the other one - looks good but like it will be going just as long.

Need to fill the room up more! As soon as clones root I'll move the NT OG and BW OG moms into the room and make new mums while I up pot the old ones and let them blast off!

This new setup is much more ideal than the last - I really need to feed them but coco can be used like soil - fuck all those wienies that cry you can't let it dry out - not true once the coco/plant are dialed together - you can feed and let it dry out and even wilt a little and not have issues with good genetics/environment. idk to each his own but I feed the vegging plants once or twice a week tops - maybe will need to do more now that they are under better light but the medium holds plenty water and nutes while they grow into. Rootbound plants can't be treated as such when in coco - they will wilt within the same day if its hot/dry and "windy" and big enough. Flowering plants should be constantly fed and the medium never allowed to dry out by feeding daily or multiple times a day if they will use it.

Spraying the clone leaves has been my defeat - also I forgot an old trick in the book with root riots.

Pouring water on them is dandy and works okay - but taking a spray bottle and putting the nozzle directly to one side of the RR cube - you spray the water right into the cube and where the stem is - do this on all 4 sides - water will disperse appropriately - and its something I was doing when I was cloning Cush and has sstellar results.

I'm also using a heating pad because the clones are on the floor level and thats where its coldest.

I started hardening them off with the vents. Zero roots showing but its not even a week yet.

I REALLY hope the JAck Diesel aero clones give me at least one with roots - i'll be happy - between the various times I tried to clone the Jack Diesel - I'm pretty sure I wasted a good 7-10 Grams of viable buds for great smoke.

I only took 2 branches but made 5 clones - heres the left overs that I'm drying to fuck with - I never smoked unready weed n I just wanna dabble a little with it and then toss it or w/e happens lol

Granted, I can drill holes in my floors n' shit to direct the heat where I want it to go. But from what I've seen of other people using these things...you don't have to make holes in walls or whatever just direct it out a window if ya got the option.
