well i may be getting old,but i sure do still enjoy riding bikes,and this whole thing with the surly ogre and getting prepped and in shape to travel has sure been an eye opener,i can see a whole nother world stretching out in front of me...i mean theres a decade worth of rides to do just in a 40-60 mile radius,theres all sorts of terrain not really accessed by any roads or real trails...not only cool places to go...remote canyons,long rambling ridgelines,little tucked away springs....plus the allure of treasure hunting...theres semi precious stones all over the place here..plus spots where you can pan for gold still,and geode site galore,places littered with agates and many rare mineral collector grade spots...not to mention a huge range of fossil beds....


now i just need the pugsly..

a surly bill trailer

and the ogre to haul it...

build a mount for the pugsly on it and strap the camping gear on..

and off i go..

you can customize the trailer to suit the task,it can carry 400 lbs,not that you would want to tow that any distance but with a bike and camping gear it could be held to a reasonable weight...
but there yah go, human powered rv....i could strap a bbq and a cooler full of beer to it and go for a picnic or just the load hauling,im sure it could be set up as a sort of pop up tent...whatever really...or like i was saying,as a prospectors vehicle...be able to haul in down dirt roads,set up base camp,unload the pugsly and just be able to ride that around to search an area...or trail building...always wanted to find a cool little spot to build a camp site,i know theres some cool spots where say a group of tall rocks is piled together that could be leveled out for tent spots,and maybe haul in lumber to build benches and whatnot,or just drag some lawn chairs up there and stash them...maybe some desert camo tarps so you could throw up sun and wind shades...make it nice...then maybe cut a nice mountain bike trail into it,keep a stash of water and such buried in a camping barrel...

lol,it will have a hell of a view,thats for sure! i think i know a good spot,may have to plan a ride out to the approach to it,need to look on google earth and check out if there are any trails leading in already,it may just be a matter of improving something already there...i know theres a road of sorts part of the way there...i could arrange to have the big stuff hauled in by truck....maybe just hand haul it out...be a lot of work....but nice to have a pre zombie proofed spot in the mountains!

well its snowing out for sure,already a 1/2 inch on the ground,not sticking to the roads yet but it will probably get cold enough...hope the garden survives,not to mention the whole room full of cactus...

We got a dusting ..... but its fukin freezing out there !!!! single digits cold & below 0 with the wind chill
no .... the weathers not too fuked up around here !!! we went from 60's during the week to below freezing over night .... no wonder people are getting sick !!!


had to check the flower room to see what the temps were & they were at 56 so i cranked the heater up .
everything else is at 70 ..... i can live with that . i've got heat mats under the clones so ......

So I had to deal with thousands of dollars of fraudulent charges on the credit card. Cali and Colorado. Guessing it stems from my purchase at Aqualab Tech but not really sure. Construction company in Cali had a $1400 charge that was listed as an "in person transaction".WTF?

Needless to say I had the CC nuked and got the charges removed. Good thing I check these things. It's easy to get complacent when you don't get paper statements anymore.

Grabbed a couple shots of the garden as i went in to check on the temps .

Headbands . they're filling in nicely , they're gonna go to 10 weeks at least , well after Xmas . next week i'll hit them with the PK boost .





The GG$ that had me all worried grew & bloomed well past my expectations !!!! they're doing great for week 6 , more like week 5 cuz of the lighting fuk up ..... but doing great ! they 'll get the PK boost starting with tonights rez fill , then as of the 2nd .... they'll get plain water till done .

turning into more of a cold rainy/snowy day here...some damn desert!!

well i got the knobbies back on the bike,reprogrammed the bike comp...looks like im just about to cross 1500 miles or so since mid summer...got all the racks stripped back off the bike,time for some more dirt...

All those look great! That gg sure is a frosty lady. Frostitute for sure. Its hard to believe like 3 weeks ago you were saying there was no resin. Sweet lord look at them now.



Man its cold out. I might have to get a little space heater. Can anybody recommend a decent space heater (preferably one that has a thermostat on it) for a small space, and wont burn my house down?
Does anybody that has a small grow room use a space heater?
