Cloning question. Pictures inside

Im on my 57th day from seed with my grow. I have two female Granddoggy Purple Plants in two 5 gallon DWC Buckets. I just bought some clonex today and plan on take some clones... I just down know from where lol This is my first grow and i have no idea on where to take the cuts from. From reading iv seen that its best to make the cut at a 45 degree angle and thats about all i know. i plan on putting my clones into Grodan Rockwool cubes and into a humidity dome. When soaking the rock wool cubes should i just a nutrient solution? For nutrients I have GH Flora 3 part Micro/Grow/Bloom, Superthrive, and Aquashield. Any help would be appreciated

:thank you:

Nice mums. :)

Couple tips that will help ensure success...

Soak your cuttings for at least half an hour in plain water before using them in any cloning method. This makes sure the cutting has maximum water retention before the stress of cloning.

Keep your temps in check... every cloning method has an optimal temperature range for the fastest growing roots. Find yours and keep the clones there all the time. Faster roots means less time for other issues to take hold.

Use weak lighting during the cloning period. You want the cuttings to focus on growing roots... exposing them to high levels of light makes them want to grow instead. Keep the light levels lower and you'll get faster roots.

Use whatever cloning method works best for you. I have a method I use that doesn't use cloning gels but does use inert potting soil or sunshine mix #4. I grow hydro so once the cutting is rooted I just wash the potting soil off.

Find what works for you and beat the hell out of it! :)

Keep it Clean! :D
