I thought I bragged her up plenty obnoxiously myself, .. She's damned good! I just flipped three of 'em today - two in 7 gals, and one in a 15 gal. Wahoo!

Hey everyone, for the last couple of months I've been
pretty much concentrating on fishing and hunting...
Now with my freezer full of tasty critters, and all
the outdoor work completed, I can finally turn my
full attention to the gardens. None too soon either
as I mentioned a few posts ago, Silver Hawaiian
was kind enough to gift me a few Nightmare Diesels !
They have all since rooted and tonight I transplanted
into net pots filled with Coco`not, I then set them into a
separate flood tray and gave them their first real feeding.
Can't tell you all how excited I am too have this girl added
too the line up, she's been on my short list for a while now.
Anyways here they are...

Now onto the main veg room, it's all cleaned up and I transplanted
the other 6 White strawberry diesels that have been stewing in the
cloner for about a month now, fuck`n aye did they have some roots,
I actually had to spiral them in as they were well over a foot long !

It's day 40 and I just switched them over to plain tap water... that's all they'll get from here on out.

I ran a cloths line system to support the plants this time
from there I'm using some solid core wire that I can bend
as needed and I'm just hook'n up the buds like Christmas
ornaments to the lines, seems too be work'n quite well so far.

Soon the swell will really kick in and they'll start pack'n on some weight !

The flush is coming along nicely and everyone's burn'n
up their nutrient reserves, a few of the leaves are dead
now and beginning too fall to the floor on their own.

Swells kick'n in too...

As for the Nightmare Diesels, they're start'n too get their shit
together as well, still want to get at least one in with the next
run, they have some catch'n up to do if it's gonna happen tho.

Killer, thanks brother She's definitely got that fuely taste that
the diesel strains are know for, but with a major up grade on
the potency levels with the addition of the white salmon into
the genetics.

Sprout .... can ya give some details about your veg flood & drain set up ? it is flood & drain right ? what do you have in the pots , coco or soil ? are the roots coming out of the pots & into the hydroton by the time your ready to transplant ? how often do ya flood the trays ? how deep into the hydroton do you stick the pots ? i'm assuming you just set them on the tray & fill in around them . etc.....

sorry for all the questions dude . but i like that set up & was thinking about a 3 x 3 table set up like that .... but only if i can pull the pots without a ton of roots dragging along . i'd probably tear them up transplanting into a 3 gallon pot after vegging .

Yes it's a flood and drain with a 20 gallon reservoir (tote really)
Those are the 4' by 8" trays with 6 inch net pots that I fill with
a product called Coco Not, it's shredded red wood, and no not the
big ones in Cali, but the kind they use for decks and fences. I run it
because it's naturally resistant to bugs. When I first went "hydro"
I used Coco , the good stuff too and had nothing but bug problems
mostly them frick'n gnats, annoying little pricks, some damage too.
As for flooding, I flood them 4 times a day in veg and 3 times per
in the Boom Boom Room, lights on only... I never feed them after dark
as this is the time when they should be producing roots and by denying
them floods they expand their root ball looking for the nutrients/water.
Big better roots, bigger more better`r buds !
Your correct on the setting the pots in first and filling around them
and yes the roots do come through the pots and out into the hydroton
honestly tho they tend to stay low, down in the 3 main drain grooves
built into the trays, they kinda look like dirty white dread locks... Lol !
They do get all tangled up by the time I transplant into the buckets
and your probably gonna think I'm shit'n ya but all I do is take out most
of the hydroton and then I actually take a pair of good "Fisker scissors"
big ass ones, and just cut them "Dreads" into equal potions, kinda down
the middle ya know. Took a lot balls the first time but it doesn't seem to
even slow them down really and I've been doing it for a few years so ?


I would think a 3x3 would be fine it's the exact same deal only wider,
hope that helps ya man, if I missed any thing let me know... kinda baked !

so your taking your net pots from veg , pruning the rootmass & just dropping the net pot onto your hydro buckets .....
I'm growing in coco DTW & figured that might be a better way of vegging & building roots . Hmmmmmm got some thinkin ta do
