Revival of the Ultimate Sativa Thread

I had a volunteer plant this year. Bout 8 foot tall.It was a Haze cross. Its hanging now. Real sweet aroma. nI think it may be a Oaxacan cross, maybe a cross to Nevilles Madness. It smells like straight up spice.

I find it also breaks a whole bunch of links, making it difficult for me to navigate sometimes. It can be really unpleasant, especially when searching for older stuff.

I got some Manga Rosa beans from Senior Fritzman awhile back and decided to grow them out this past season. I had a shitload of them in the field. I don't pack any devices to the field so no grow pics.
The Manga Rosa is uniform and seems very stable. It has a most interesting terpine signature and the rub of a stem brings on an enticing burning rubber-ish aroma. The smoke is stronger than I had envisioned from previous descriptions, and has a very long lasting heavy (but alert) buzz and is unmistakeably sativa in nature.
Although I am sick to fuckin death of MR at this point (I'll be trimmin MR for weeks yet....arg), I urge anyone who can obtain some of these rare jewels do so.
I had several tails take on the signature pink pistols, however I suggest growing these out south of N37-38. Mine could have used maybe another week or two, but were nearly finished when I brought them all in. Most would probably brought them in a week or two before I did...I like to let them simmer long as possible and try to get em just before first frost.

Mextiza. 41 days flower. May go 60 days, but probably ready at 55 days. The original breeder group in Spain, has a pheno that goes 50 days. From S1, the girls were all really similar in growth, size and smell. I have a few clones of this one.

About Meao Thai, think it worked always just in the THC department. I think Destroyer for me is a weed which you get lost if too much smoke for daytime, lovely anyway lol. I dont percieve the "fade down", not hangover at all being 50% Meao Thai. The strict Meao Thai smoke can be not too confortable sometimes, pale faces, guess almost not cbd or just thc, not much taste, rope, bit citric. Never tested in lab Meao Thai yet so just rambling.
Nice Mextiza R. Fortune, so much of the Oaxacan 79 personality. Some growers suggested to harvest them just in right moment not to let them go too long for more euphoric effects vs deepest feelings. Wish you like it. Hybrid has some similarities to Red Snake (Oaxacan x Punto Rojo) as the Oaxaca leaves so much personality

Nice job growing/breeding/selecting those. I love the way the Red Snake is going juicy golden.
The Punto Rojo looks to be going rainbow, reds, green, gold. All it needs is a bit of brown and I'll be transported back to the '70s. Looks like a perfect representation of the top notch Colombian I had as a youngster. I think there may be a seed at the top also! My Gosh!

It's a real lemon lime sweet smell and flavor. The smell translates well to the flavor. Keep in mind that I vape my weed.

The search for trip weed continues for my friends and me. I'm an old fart who has smoked lots of great weed that I loved, but my favorites have always been the ones that make me feel a bit like tripping. This has been a relatively rare type, but I have found it in a few places. The ones with the long lasting effects have always have been found in the most extreme sativa looking varieties. These are what I have found in order of when I found them:
Jamaican Ganja
Thai Stick
Sumatran
Most recently, a very Oaxacan looking phenotype of Haze
My most recent exploration is Zamaldelica. Here are some pictures of the one that is now flowering:
This is the most extreme looking sativa I have grown in quite a while.

I find a lot of my haze crosses mature from the middle of the plant 1st . The top colas and lower popcorn are last to finish .
