2 come out 2 go in

2 come out 2 go in

OK...here's the 2nd plant I harvested this morning.

^ This is that squat Hell Hound IX1 (showed her the other day). Harvested on day 57 ( flushing since day 45)...pretty quick thankfully. I really believe that the C99BX in Odessa (this is an Odessa dominant expression) has driven this one in a couple of ways..the leafiness and the fast flower

not on of my favorite expressions...and different than the majority of the squat HH expressions I run into (most the squats have denser flowers...whereas...this one is a lot on the fluff). You can see the Casey Jones in her flower structure

^ Comparison in height. Side by side the Flo leaning Mox Mox IX1 (which was not that big herself)...you can see...she is way short. One could say: she's all flower

The aroma on this girl is typical of many of the Odessa leaning Hell Hounds: real funky and bubblegum sweetness..with a twinge of citrus. Nothing wrong with the aroma at all...and I'm most positive..she'll vape up like a star.

* Not pollinated for the Hell Mox build

Flo Leaning Mox Mox IX1 Nuggets

Flo Leaning Mox Mox IX1 Nuggets

Easy plant to manicure....a snip of a leaf here..another there..not much trouble at all. Nuggets are dense and hard...the resin can stick fingers together...but it's not irritating to my eyes..like much of the stuff I grow..is. Doesn't get my nose to twitch..no sneezes..really

not much in the aroma department. That's a shame to. Compared to the other Mox Mox IX1 expressions...this one is not in the same ballpark. The others will blow this thing out of the water...as I can already tell where they are...and where this is..or is not. I don't even need to vaporize them..to know. After you grow enough plants..it just becomes routine knowledge

^ the entire harvest.......modest is being kind. Time/Space/Cost...nope..doesn't work out. If I find another Flo dominant in this run..she will only be pollinated if she looks like she is going to make an effort. That would be a freak expression...as after all these years and Flo infused plants...I've yet to find one like that. Just no excuse for growing lazy ass plants anymore. Be different if they were super special to vaporize...but honestly...they are not. That's why I've stated that the only thing that I desire out of the Blues is...their ornamental value. Beyond that...I just have not experienced their greatness. Beyond being ornamental...they are in fact...quite boring to me. Honesty can be a motherfucker..and I'm not saying they are bad plants...but I just don't find their resin profiles to be that special. To each their own...forge thy own path

That Flo leaner is a looker for sure.
DJ Shorts gear does produce some of the most beautiful plants.
I remember reading that Flo was bred in Canada with plant numbers high as 10 000.
Can`t be 100% sure thou. I think I red it here somewhere.

Vine and Lime

Vine and Lime

Couple different Hell Hound IX expressions I'll be showing today. Some early sample flowers

^ One is a nice "Vine" expression flower (day 63 flushing since day 47)...very nice..very common..very desirable. The other is of an expression that I've never found before. I'm calling her a "Lime" expression (day 58 flushing since day 45)

^ Here is the Lime....appears to be influenced by both the OG Jam and the Odessa...as I can see some Odessa characteristics in her flowers (the top little spirals) but they are denser than Odessa flowers. Her aroma has the undertone of Odessa leaning Hell Hounds...but the Lime aroma is new...powerful...and I believe evolving out of the OG Jam.

She is faster than the Vine expression...could probably harvest her now..but I'm going to keep her going a while longer. Showed heavy intersex in weeks 3-4...but otherwise...well behaved. I'm absolutely smitten over her....she was partially pollinated to make Hell Mox

^ The Vine....nothing wrong with these expressions. I've grown quite a few of them. They are rocket ships cultivation wise and yield well. Head wise...sweaty highs off the Vines....speedy paranoia transcending into long lasting contentment...pretty much how they come out. GO-GO Weed. Aroma is the undertone funk...with berry/bubblegum sweetness. Showed heavy intersex weeks 3-4...and still shows an occasional nanner in her bud tips. Partially pollinated to make Hell Mox. Probably harvest around 70 days.

* Looks like I'm going to be finding some other stuff in these Hell Hound IX1s. From the ones I see evolving up (behind these)...I may find myself in for a treat...as already..some I'm not recognizing yet. I thought they'd be more predictable...but I'm finding them..happily..much the opposite.

** Had I culled the expressions that showed intersex in weeks 3-4...we'd not be seeing anything. That is a fact. But...by god...these things are savage girls..amongst my favorite things. I have No Fear of their sensitive quirks

*** With the flower studio running on Hell Hound IX1 and Mox Mox IX1...I can for the very 1st time say: I'm cultivating ONLY my best work. It is a very present feeling....and one...that I have worked very hard to obtain. Sounds funny...as I've been at this for more than...a while..but this is the truth. I've finally fully committed to my finest

Yeah the currently offered Flo selection had a large pool...and was bred differently (I believe more in the lines of Blueberry). My Flo came from old Dutch Passion seeds...not exactly the same Flo pool...but most likely closer to the Temples. I went with the older stock for a reason.

In the near future: I'll show you dry shots...and I'll take some time to do a solid test flight off those flowers. I'll vaporize them for a day..see how they stand up.

Training At 136 #s

Training At 136 #s

Crazy being this light...yet I'm thriving on the hills...full on charging at this weight.

UnFlex and Flex...the continuation of building the goat's legs. Repetition...day after day...year after year...constant...nonstop...up the hills down the hills...sucked deep into drainage holes to be worked out and up....along ridge spines...slipping and sliding down un-trails..crashing brush...topping rocks...carving wide the slopes

I can't stop. It keeps getting better. I find it all anew from session to session...the learning never ends

I know you like running on rough terrain, or at least I got those impressions from reading here.
Why not try something different and check for a Marathon near you and enter it.
Shout be fun. Imagine winning and celebrating with a nice fat joint.
EPIC ! (;

Good Lookin Jericho. As with most endurance sports/athletic endeavors....the lighter you are, the less you exert...I'd love to see you tear up the trails.....in a local forest last week, I went hiking and was climbing a nice ascent, winded and really digging deep this guy came up silently behind me and jogged past...he was moving quickl and light on his feet. I guessed he was about 3 miles into a 6 mile loop. I just imagined you tearing by hummin like a well tuned mopar

Well to change gears for a minute

Well to change gears for a minute

Just got back from downtown SD. Went down there with the wife to attend a friend's "graduation" from the Salvation Army's recovery program. You know the ones? When it's either prison or rehab? The last ditch effort..before you are completely written off

My murdered bro's sister actually. Been in the program for almost a year....saved from living down in the San Diego river basin...being raped, robbed, and beaten regularly..her sanity near gone..her life near gone. Had the cops not locked her up...doubt she'd still be here.

Heroin man...ain't no light weight to carry on with. Hell...sitting through Salvation Army church ain't no light weight either...let me tell you..singing...praying..preaching...it was interesting. Probably does save many lives...actually not probably...it does. This is not the only friend I have..who has had to check in there.

It's killer to see someone soon after they've "seen the light"...whatever light that may be...doesn't matter to me...as long as they are getting healthy. I watched my friend speak at her brother's memorial a few days ago...and then watched her speak at her graduation this night. It ain't easy living....by the time someone must resort to the Salvation Army...the shit has gone south on them...so anything at that point...may be seen as a blessing? I don't know

I see many people I know...struggle so. The Process....the toxicity it bestows (if allowed) upon us...it's difficult for me to be around. Anytime I can see someone fight and win something back..it's good with me. Man...live every day full..there is no method...there is no promise...no control. It's chaos...accept it..fuck the bullshit

I run to stay in the present..to stay in sanity. I run for those who can not...so I say....but that's not really true. It's all about me

Things That are coming to Be

Things That are coming to Be

Flower being shown today is from a Mox Mox IX1 on day 64 (flushing since day 47)

^ Getting close...probably...I'll harvest her in a couple more days. Depends on my schedule. A funky girl...you know I've already sampled her (you may recall I took off one of her lower flowers..somewhere in her late 50's)....and yeah....no worries on this girl. She has some fantastic influence. Highly desirable.

Yup...showed heavy intersex weeks 3-4....and still shows a nanner here and there...mostly in the tips of her flowers. Should be noted...that my plants flush extended...rarely less than 10 days...and often close to 20. So what am I saying? I'm saying: I stress them hard.

* Partially pollinated to make Hell Mox

** I've got to work a bit today....and I've got to trim up that squat Hell Hound...

It's stormy here...so somehow...I will squeeze in a run

Trimming the Squat

Trimming the Squat

Real scissor gumpin' sticky...leafy airy flowers..

^ She was real quick...(harvested at 57 days). and she stinks real nice...but that's the best I can say about her cultivation wise...other than she was very easy to grow (no intersex and not much need for training/tying)

She'll be fine vapor

Time in the Veg Studio

Time in the Veg Studio

Getting the Queen Mox Clone (a 1st generation plant...F1) ready to go into the flower studio...might be tomorrow she goes in

^ This will be her 2nd run as a clone. I'll be partially pollinating her for the Hell Mox. It's important to note then:

* All the Mox Mox IX1 being used for the Hell Mox project were mothered by the Queen Mox Clone...so because I'm using blended Hell Hound IX1 and Mox Mox IX1 pollens....some of the beans made with the Queen Mox Clone...in this run... will actually be Mox Mox 1st generation X Mox Mox 2nd generation...while the rest will be true Hell Mox. Clear as mud? If not...I understand..but it just depends on which grain of pollen lands. To get technical

** The possible combinations I could have in this project will be:

1. Hell Hound IX2

2. Mox Mox IX2

3. Mox Mox whatever you call F1 X F2...1.5? I don't even know..but those will be the rarest

4. "True" Hell Mox

^ Already starting to look ahead to the Killer Chemdog IX1, Killer Chemdog IX2, and Cindy Kill Dog F1 run. Of course...as I documented..all those beans were put into the same shot glass of water to soak...meaning...I don't have any way of knowing what is what.......all that confusion...for no defined reason

Thus far...there is not that much difference in the expressions. The above plants...demonstrate the most defined differences. I just have that feeling that this run will be mostly dominated by C99 expressions...perhaps a fast and to the point run. Most the plants look like the taller plant on the right...which to me..looks like C99. I haven't started topping these plants yet

^ This leaf is on the plant to the left...the more stocky one. Probably an indicator of the Chem genetics...as they are prone to show these...though it's been documented that it's not the virus.

quite a mash up I suppose...and who knows if I'll ever mix together another run of this stuff..as it is here. So I saved a couple males. If things look fun/promising I'll do some pollinating. Create yet another mash of unknowns

its still a bit funny for you to be running clones, been a spell hasnt it?
had a couple fun days out on the road bike, think if i felt like pushing i could be doing sub hour 20 milers...not race speeds, but none too bad for an old guy...

I know. I'm going to use her to do some more breeding (perhaps use the males from the "Killer" run on her 3rd clone run)...for sure wanted to use her for Hell Mox....but yeah...I enjoy growing her. Eventually I'll replace her with something else. Keeping just one clone doesn't bother me. At this time I can't see keeping more than that.

...I got caught up in a bullshit schedule today. Didn't get a run in...which is ok..because I slipped onto a knee yesterday...routine..but still a bit sore. I should have time for a good one tomorrow..rain running

you should see the fast guys going out...30+ mph for hours at a time, those guys can crank out some watts...im just getting into the interesting range now with the mileage i can do in a day, gaining the ability to sit in the saddle for hours and keep the pedals cranking over...the surly is more a just chug along sort of bike, good for covering distance if youre not in too big a hurry, especially towing a load...i never really feel like i absolutely have to stay on top of whatever gear im riding...im not really supposed to go fast on that bike, its for exploration and travel...thats why i have a road bike that only weighs 19 lbs...different forms of suffering...both fun...can hardly wait to get the next bike! this one will be a fat bike,a surly pugsly with 4 inch tires...they can pretty much go anywhere, not phased by deep sand or rocks or snow or anything you can pedal over...

Slip Kid

JM I'm finding that leaf trait in lots of the seedlings I've been running with sour or chem backgrounds. I havn't been sure if I'd infected all my stock or if it's a genetic trait....
I've been having a smoke every now and again as an instant cover up before driving only because I don't want to be pulled over reeking with sticky black fingers. Sometimes the school calls while you're trimming and you have to go pick up a sick kid, I know it's gross but cigs cover the odor fast...I'm too sensitive to use deodorant or man perfumes. I'd rather smell like a pig from a saltwater river bottom than Ralph Lauren...
Anyway I'm glad to see that trait popping in your rooms as it eases my mind a bit that I havn't destroyed all my stock from whipping out a cig if I need to drive sticky.
