What can be done?

Are you saying that I am creating heavy wax that does not exist in your process? I understand that temperature will control viscosity when everything else remains constant.

You can create all the wax you want to. Waxes and heavy oils in plant material, the colder it gets the more they remain in a solid to viscous state.

What do you mean, "You can create all the wax you want to"? Do you mean by using my using my extraction method I am creating wax? Do you usually use absolutes? I'll trade terps for dewaxing (EtOH method).

I like to do one extraction with butane to get the best quality oil for the vaporizer. After that I do 2 longer extractions with 99% isopropanol. Whatever yield I get from the butane, I get about the same from the isopropanol. The 2nd and 3rd extractions produce a dark green oil that's harsh to vape, but perfect for tinctures and edibles. Just dissolve in everclear 190 for tincture or add to your favorite recipe for edibles.

I also make cannabis capsules with ground up bud powder, leaf powder, coconut oil, and some kind of filler. The 3x extracted bud makes a perfect filler for the capsule mix.
