Why all the hate for Sonnen? He's a blowhard but he's also a salesman, theres no such thing as bad pub. He's got a limited skill set and is overmatched at light heavy but other than that can serve as a gatekeeper at middleweight.

Sure I've heard many times judges base their decision on Grappling,octagon control,aggression, and takedowns. Hendrix easily ticks all 4 ANYONE and "most" could see that Hendrix was the winner maybe Gsp won or drew a round.

I've been a fan of Gsp for a long time..ok. BUT. Hendricks Clearly won that fight BABY!!!!

Joe rogans expression says that.Gsp's face Certainly showed that! an' I bet Dana White thought Hendrix too.. ANOTHER TRAVESTY of Judging but even worse this time re:jones vs gustaffstason.. (Clearly 3-2)

Also Gsp was almost made to look like a rookie against the power of Hendricks.How easily he turned Gsp onto the cage..... And also MISSED Hendricks VERY often...

To the untrained eye it looked like hendricks put a beating on GSP but that is not the total of the fight. Gsp all day long baby......

To the super untrained and blind eye GSP won. However, he got his ass kicked 4 rounds to 1.

I dont understand why everyone thinks it was a landslide for johhny.. gsp kept up a great pace and scored many more accurate kicks to the body/legs and punches to the face.
johhny did more damage, or atleast looked that way.. gsp has always been a bleeder so you cant go by that completely imo.

i gave gsp 1,3,5 for the split.

damage is pride rules, i can say Hendricks won if they where fighting in japan. well they fought in America different scoring,damage does not determine the winner....

Anyone wonder what issues GSP has that make him want to take a break from mms?

The big loss already came... AGAIN... he lost by knockout before and this yime Hendricks mauled him.

Make all the excuses you GSP fans want to make. He still lost in most people's eyes. Yes GSP still has the belt. He has no brain left.

He was babbling because his brain was concussed. He said himself he couldn't remember some of the fight. He was also being vague on why he was going to take some time off. The real reason he just couldn't bring himself to saying. That reason was the beating Hendricks gave him. The same beating only worse that Hendricks will give him if they ever meet again. But GSP will never fight Hendricks again. He knows he can never beat him.

If it wasn't his fault then why does he owe them anything??

If he wants to take time off to relax, and balance his life out, he can do that...... Dana 'owes' him that choice.

Dana White is an asshole.

He has done a lot promoting MMA, but he is just an ego tripping idiot. I've never liked him. I think he gets a stiffy from being 'the boss' of all the fighters.

The only round Hendricks might have lost was round 3. Maybe 5 if you were feeling sorry for the beating GSP took.Round 1 was all Hendricks. That was actually the round that might have cost GSP the fight. He should never have taken those elbows to the side of the head trying to get the takedown against the ropes. He was never steady or clear headed after those shots.

Round 2 was all Hendricks and was a 10-8 round on my card.

Dana and Rogan finally admit that the wrong guy won. They both had Hendricks winng easily. The last round Rogan even said GSP needed a knockout now.

I am officially done with mma now. I left boxing because of the bad decisions and fixed decisions and now I say farewell to mma.

It is a darn shame what happened to Gustafson and even worse now with Hendricks.

I don't know how anybody can defend these decisions. Especially fans that watch them. Fans have no interest except what is fair and right. Unless you bet. But still fair is fair. This was not fair. An injustice has been done to a fighter who earned a victory.

Not a GSP fan, Just dont think hendricks did enough to win damage is not the defining factor. Obviously judges feel the same way, Not many folks saw Johnny tap to the rolling guillotine in round 1? Cry all you want does not change the fact that GSP beat Hendricks, there have been way worse decisions in mma, This was a real close fight and i would not be angry if johnny was awarded the winner.

Johnny didn't have a mark on him, and was too strong for George. Looked to outweigh him by at least 20 pounds after re-hydrating.

Unfortunately they don`t use the unified Stockton rules .
ie; The one bleeding the most at the end of 5 rounds looses .

I thought it was mighty close . Even had Henricks ahead 3 rounds to 2 .
Dunno what GSP was thinkin at the after fight interview . But I thought Joe Rogan blew it by not handing over the microphone . GSP was ready to spit it out . Then Joe pulled the mic away . Apparently Dana White was not impressed with talk of a sabbatical . He wants to start the hype for the rematch ASAP .
Happy to see Robbie Lawler have another win . I enjoy watching him .
