Pappy i'm no good in soils either ... i over water constantly . kinda why i switched to coco when i found out ya really can't overwater it .
but in coco ... i water everyday . i water till i get runoff , i start with 1 minute & have gone up as far as 3 minutes in late flower. or 3 i minute feeds during lights off .

I do very well in soil from what im told. I do a wet moist wet moist fedding.. Moist means just the top is dry. Nope no topping on that one. Here are some BOG SLS. The top one was trasplanted into Botanicare coco. I just droped the ph to 5.6 @400ppm for that one. It does have a soil center of about .8 gal pot. I need to trasplant the bottom one. Both have been topped, Very short squat plants vegged under 400w t5..

pappy,keep in mind what im doing is more akin to hydroponics and the medium i use is 40% coco...plus with smart pots its tough to over water...

feeling much better this morning,was pretty worked yesterday,knees were pretty sore...still gonna take it easy today and just get the house cleaned...after i get baked that is!

looks like the children did just fine in my absence,going to need to up pot the clones soon and get the 4x4 table stand finished since i actually need that on monday morning since the chemdog99 and grom x gk will be coming down...gonna skip camping this week and get focused on the room project,plus i need to let my knee heal up again since it was a bit annoying....not super painful or really what i would consider painful,just annoying...

anyway...off to run some chores real quick,the winds are supposed to come up and i really dont feel like fighting the wind today,but the babies need their bloom booster...

morning everyone! ladies are starting their stretch and things are lookin good!

So once these things are done stretching its going to be impossible for me to get inside the 4x4 tent and clean up the undersides sooooo.....Should i pull them out now and clean up everything on the underside (4th day of flowering) or just leave em be and just make hash out of the larf. Its all personal stash if that makes a difference

yeah, it will be a problem, as my tent is 4x4 and the tray is 3x3 and theres no room to walk around or anything in there. Will lollipoppin em right at the start of flowering shock em a ton?

Also, since the squares are 4inches i dont think my canopy is going to get as dense as ive had it before with the smaller square screens...which might allow for more light penetration below the trellis.

im so god damn indecisive and its annoying haha

lotus,you have 4 of the same plant right? try a couple of different methods and see what you like best...
and i hack off armloads of sucker branches all the time,never seemed to phase the plants at all...that said,its normally better to do your pruning a bit at a time spaced over a few days,but if the plant is healthy and not otherwise stressed out then they can take quite a bit of pruning..

well, i decided to just have at it. plants are green and healthy as all hell, so i took all the lower suckers and the branches that wont hit the screen. twas hard to do LOL

I reasentley used Happy Frog soil mix. I couldent hardly feed because it held water /mostiure for a long time.
when I use soil I keep moist not wet my 2 cents.

lol,dan,you're gonna learn about the brutal mid flower super crop here real soon with those dtc99...im sorta scared to even contemplate one in a 45 gallon pot...im betting i could push one past 2 lbs easy....

Never got an answer or opinion about my question the other day , so i'll ask again .


quick question guys ..... If i were to put the seedlings in the 4 x 4 to veg out & i suddenly put them in darkness for 4 or 5 days .... i know it will halt the growing of them but will it cause any undo stress to them ??? i need to use the 4 x 4 for drying next month & every month but if i shut the lights off on the plants while they're in there will i be fukin them up or just slowing them down ???
room is so limited here i have to use that room for drying ..... i have no choice .
